Review 1：Nice clean room with kitchen facility, nice bathroom, parking place in the yard and also on the street in front of the building. They have a billiard table in the basement that can be converted to a ping pong table. Waking distance to the city center (25-30 min) and to the Auschwitz museum (15-20 min).

Review 3：Because of snowfalls on Czech roads we arrived later than official recieption closure time (11pm) but gave a call to the owner. So we were appreciated that they were waiting for us at 1 am, made us advices for tomorrow activities and that was not all. Next day early in the morning I went to Auschwitz museum other 5 people had stayed in Astra and asked for late departure. Our appts were booked for that day however the owner Familie welcomed them to the game room (pool and ping-pong) and provided them with the tea etc. Generally we were amazed by real Polish hospitality as it should be. And of course I have to mention excellent conditions to stay: from the front door and super location just a minute walk from railway/bus staion to halls, rooms amenities, kitchen, game room, smoking place in the inside yard... Sure in the summer it would be seemed even better than now.

Review 4：The family operating the apartments were incredibly friendly and so enthusiastic. The property is clean and modern, and its located only 5-10 minutes from Auschwitz concentration camp (or about a 20 minute walk). Parking is free too. We stayed in many places during a 2 week tour of Europe, and these apartments were the greatest value for our money.

Review 6：Wonderful hotel close to the city center and central railway station. Nice and helpful staff. My stay was very comfortable and I recommend this hotel.

Review 7：The owners are really nice people so you don't mind their English is pretty basic (their German sounded a bit more advanced). There was also a kitchenette in our room and room was very clean and tidy, the whole place was. There is a pool table in the basement for customers to use. We only stayed one night and left early but owners let us keep the suitcases in and pick them up in the late afternoon (we checked out of the room thought). The apartments are literally 3 minutes walk from train station and about 15 - 20 minutes walk from old town or The Auschwitz museum, we got the map of town at Astra apartments on arrival. Little grocery shop is right on the way from train station and shopping center is in walking distance too. Highly recommended!

Review 12：It's a family run motel with fully equipped studio apartments, furnished in a great style, and in a very good location. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, the so-to-say icing on the cake was a piece of landlady's chocolate cake offered to us when we returned to our studio in the evening. Excellent service and wonderful people!

Review 13：These apartments are of a high standard new in an infamous town. We stayed her as part of our visit to both Auschwitz camps. Rather than the rushed bus trip this is the ideal place to stay and really look at both camps as individuals and not part of a rushed tour group. To walk the length of the ramp at Auschwitz- Birkenau and between the wire fences towards the gas chambers is a moving experience.

Review 19：This small, quiet hotel is a gem. The owners, Wieslaw and Krystyna, along with their son, are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We felt like most welcome guests staying in a friend's home. This was our favorite stay during our European trip. Very close to train station and within walking distance of Auschwitz museum.

We were pleasantly surprised to find out that what othe people mentioned about Astra apartments was true! If you visit Aushwitz and you do not stay at Astra Apartments, you must be missing a part of your brain!

Location only opened for 3 months (they told), so brandnew rooms which are very clean and modern with a nice and clean bathroom. Location is really close to the train station and only 15 minute walk from Auschwitz. Some nice facilities like a gym and pool tabl. You get a good product for the price, so absolutely reommendable.

Review 29：Although there is a kitchen where you could cook your breakfast and bake some coffee, there is no buffet or whatsoever. But there's a bakery right across the street.

English communication was a minor thing and we had fun understanding each other with some help from their son who speaks perfect English. Easy place to find a few meters off main road.

Review 36：Though we arrived very early at about 8am, we were able to check in though the check in time is supposed to be around 11am I think. There was no extra charge and we were upgraded to the deluxe room because the room we booked was in use by the previous occupants. The apartment owner's father did not mind giving us the deluxe room and showed us all the facilities that we could use. If we weren't tired after a visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau, we would have used the pool table! The owner's father was such a warm man. He couldn't speak English very well but still tried his best to communicate to us and make us feel comfortable! 5 stars to Astra Apartment! :)

Review 37：Extremely friendly owners, who went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect, as did the young man they had to help with translation during check-in. The rooms are modern, warm and spotless with a beautiful garden for guests to use. The shared kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and there are shops close by for provisions. Located across the road from the railway station, perfect for independent travellers wishing to visit Auschwitz, which is within walking distance too. We could not fault this accommodation.

Review 38：This is not a B & B. It is not possible to order a meal / breakfast - you need to take care of your own catering. It is close to the bakery and shops.
