Review 1：There was a minor housekeeping issue with our room but we didn't even report it & it was fixed when we came back from breakfast.

Review 2：The service was impeccable and the hotel itself is gorgeous. It's close to the best shopping in the area, lots of options for dining and entertainment. Taxis are reasonable for getting around the city.

Review 3：The feeling of the hotel, even if nice, feels old. I mean the style, which is more of a luxurious old style. Could use a more modern touch.

Review 8：the hotel is getting old. The beds are not really comfortable anymore , the sofas and chairs in the rooms are dirty and old. The good times are over... The online reservations and e-mailing is a desaster. no answers or wrong answers...! Construction all around the hotel !

Review 14：Service staff not always up to standard: we were first given an uncleaned room (free wifi was then given to us as an apology). Valet service guys tend to be quite lazy: you sometimes really have to order them to help you with getting luggage out of your trunk (even though we were with elders and were carrying babies...).

Review 19：I love this hotel and have stayed at all the others nearby. It is my first choice and usually has good availability. The check-in area is very opulent and makes you feel like you are staying at a "high class" hotel. Top rate breakfast buffet, bar, and is located directly across the street from a shopping mall with several great restaurants and a Starbucks. This is my favorite by far!!!

If they hadn't reached me would they have given my room away? Also decor is dated. Walls are thin so I was awakened by couple arguing loudly next door.

Review 47：The hotel is beautiful, the staff very friendly, I had to change my room because of some noisy construction next door and they were very happy to do it. The food was very good, I liked the gym and the pool area, very relaxing and cute.

Review 48：It was My second trip to Monterrey and my second stay at the Hotel! I just love the atmosphere and the staff was extremely helpful! It is a luxury hotel but with a classic and elegant touch! Just the way I like it!

Review 51：I have stayed at the Safi 5 times now in 2013 but only once offered anupgraded room. Check in took a very long time as they could not find myreservation even though I called and confirmed the night before and thewoman found immediately. Room near elevator and very noisy.

Review 55：one thing i didn’t like is that you have to put a deposit in order to get anything and not settlement after you are done, after i order the guy took my signature and then came back telling me i don’t have balance, and since he didn’t speak english i have given him 500 to settle my purchase and i asked him to put the rest as deposit, i was surprised that he settled my 160 pesos bill and thought the rest is tips :s, but i didn’t even complain as i have enjoyed the stay, the hotel being 5 stars should keep the bill open as long as they hold the credit card information.

At check in,show the reservation copy of booking com. To areception lady,but she said it is not reserved still,or the reservationwas not accepted by the hotel, and still the person in charge to confirmreservation does not come to work,so they can not register to chek in bybooking com's price. Any way ,room was not available at the time andwaited 2hours after they gave the room by booking com's price. I didn'tunderstand what was happened, and I had worried about booking com'sreservation a little,through I think it was problem of the hotel notbooking com.
