Review 1：No bad experience, however the better rooms are being renovated. The currently available rooms are a bit dated and worn out. I suspect that after renovation is complete this hotel will be the best in the region. I advise travellers to ring the hotel before booking to establish the state of the renovation and what rooms are available. The time scale we were given was around July 2015. Ilo Ilo city is very anti smoking in public. .. If you smoke get a room with a balcony, and outside only smoke in designated areas or you could get a substantial fine.

Review 2：Gorgeous old colonial style building with above average service. Excellent location to tourist venues, shopping and restaurants.

Review 3：The hotel is really old, although they refurnished the room, the over look of the hotel is old.

Review 4：The staff was really friendly and they would extend their help to us when we asked about the churches, restaurants, etc, they would assist us with sincerity. The location is in the centre of the city, just a 10 minute walk to the Esplanade where the 'happening' places are. Everybody knows this hotel so its not hard to get lost.

Review 10：Very friendly and professional staff. Hotel is well maintained and presents as being a lot more expressive than it is. Amazing value for money. The restaurant is also very good. We enjoyed dinner there as well as the buffet breakfast.

Review 30：Their friendly smiles, hospitable service, very affordable rates, spacious rooms and made you feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again and recommend this hotel to all our families and friends. The staff were very understanding and accommodating as we were not on holiday we were on family emergency visit as my father was in hospital seriously ill.
