Review 10：There aren't many Sunbeds by the pool, but there are quite a few more on the next deck down. On very sunny days there arent any beds left though, although we didnt go to spend all day on Sunbeds neither will most people.

Review 11：The location is excellent, very central for the City Centre Attractions but far enough away for it to be quiet and easy to walk to from the Bus Station. Sorrento itself is an excellent place to go and visit, loads to do.

Review 12：Its hard to think of anything negative.The sunbeds around the rooftop pool were rather close together for my liking but there is too much to see to waste time sunbathing I was happier just sitting on the terrace taking in the view.

Review 17：Room was very small and views from our room/balcony were of other locals in their properties. Shower whilst modern was open style and drain plug flooded often. Water went everywhere regularly. Roof top pool was not nice as shown in the photo from Booking.com. Water was very cloudy. Our stay was filled with a lot of smokers so the roof was not a pleasant place to be. Charging your electronic devices only works if you have your card key in the slot provided. This means you cannot charge anything when you are out for the whole day.

Review 18：Hotel was close proximity to main street of Sorrento. Downstairs bar is modern and the breakfast room was also. Staff were accommodating and helpful. Car park was directly across the road and you received a discount for being a guest (15 euro a day). Bathroom modern but had design flaws. Our room was quiet due to the room having another internal door. Very clever ! Taxi's stop out the front door and train station only a few blocks away.

Review 20：We so enjoyed our stay at the plaza, it is central to the main square and all the fantastic restaurants, the staff where so help full especially the lady at reception called Cinzia.

Review 22：We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location in the city center close to restaurants, shopping and the train and bus stations. Very nice breakfast spread and amenities. Amazing shower and the triple room was comfortable for 2 adults and 1 older child. We highly recommend Hotel Plaza; we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we look forward to going back again soon when we visit Sorrento in the future.

Review 23：it would be great if you could have drinks at the pool rooftop bar in the evening so as to take in the beautiful views by night. The downstairs cocktail bar does however make up for this, with its relaxed and contemporary surroundings, but it's a shame not to be able to make the most of those views!

Review 24：I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I was so blown away with my stay at Hotel Plaza, I felt I just had to! From the moment I arrived the hotel staff - reception, restaurant and bar - could not have been more accommodating or helpful in making sure my stay was a pleasant one. The breakfast buffet was superb and the rooftop pool bar was fabulous for taking in views of the beautiful town. The hotel itself including my room was absolutely spotless, with cleaning taking place daily including change of towels and bed linen. The housekeeping staff were just as friendly, always wishing me a good day whenever passing them in the hotel corridors. The Hotel Plaza really made my stay in Sorrento a truly pleasant and memorable one and I would not hesitate in staying there again.

Review 25：Hotel was well appointed and the location was perfect. The roof top pool breakfast and public areas were lovely but most outstanding was Rafaele at the front desk who consistently went above and beyond for me and my family. I will be back!!!

Review 55：Stayed 7 nights May 2015. 2nd time at the Plaza (2011 previously). IMHO this is a Great boutique hotel that is centrally located in Sorrento and 200m from Tasso square. Staff are friendly, rooms are good standard with free safety deposit box and wifi. Breakfast Buffett has a good choice of hot and cold food that will meet most peoples needs unless you are really fussy! Roof top bar and sun area is fairly compact but is a real sun trap where you can also order food and drink if required, so you can sunbathe all day if that's your thing! Will definitely be back!

Review 68：The modern hotel is practically in Piazza Tasso. Yet calm and relaxed, it delivers a solid experience a block away from it all. It's modern look might not appeal to all but it will do the job just fine, with a very well rounded effort reminiscent of more established hotels. The entire staff is just amazing. The gripes about the breakfast may have a point but it's a question of tweaking a good product and is a matter of optics. Give it a try and I promise it will grow on you long after you've checked out.

My antivirus detected a virus when I was at the hotel. I am not sure if the air conditioning was working properly. Since the temperature was ok, I didn't care much.

Review 77：Breakfast was served at 7 a.m. which helped a lot to visit another places early. It was by far, the best breakfast I had in Italy. The room was very clean. I would definitely recommend it.

Review 78：The air conditioning (cold) was not turned on, They said it was because it was almost winter, and air conditioning is only available in the summer. As inside the room the temperature got hot, the solution was to keep the window door open, with all the inconveniences that come with that: noise from the street, insects etc. I think the air conditioning should always be available.

At my request our taxi transfers were all pre booked and a hair up appointment made before we arrived. We especially enjoyed the amazing breakfast. The rooftop pool was an added bonus! We have already recommended Hotel Plaza to our friends who stay in Sorrento regularly. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Review 84：Had to pay extra for poached eggs for breakfast which were served on toast. The toast was soggy as the eggs had not been strained enough - just stick with the breakfast that is provided!

Review 85：My husband and i stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon. I informed the Hotel of this prior to our arrival. We were provided with a complimentary upgraded room and Prosecco. The staff were very clear that they were available to cater to our needs. The pool, rooftop terrace and bar are what provide this Hotel with that extra special perk, as in Sorrento it can be quite a journey to the 'beach'. While we did not eat in the Hotel, apart from breakfast, the cocktails were to die for and the nibbles provided with the drinks were very welcomed also. Hotel Plaza is situated right in the centre of Sorrento, only a stones throw from some amazing restaurants. Even though the road outside is very busy and can be noisy, once the doors and windows are closed, not a sound could be heard from outside. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Review 86：I asked for a room with a balcony. Instead I got a room with a window ( a small one) that looked at another window/wall. A bit disappointing. I was told I had been upgraded I am sure that is so you are Jess likely to complain.!!

The taxi's that the hotel ordered for us to the airport and to the wedding venue were always 30 mins late. When we called from the room for a bucket of ice we were bought a opened half full bag of ice with no bucket.

The view from the pool area is breath-taking and provides a gorgeous backdrop for lunch.
