Reviews for Marroad Inn Omiya

Review 1:allows smoking in room so my room smelled of smoke the entire time though I don't smoke. Cracked furniture , drink can left under bed that was there prior to my arrival. you don't have wifi but Ethernet cord. you have to leave your key at the desk. you cannot have visitors to your room nor is the laundry free or coin service. I think its dry cleaned but whatever it is , it is costs money.

Review 2:great location. nice food places nearby. hotel does laundry for you.

Review 3:Very noisy! Whatever neighbors say/do ,you'll have it as if in your room! Smells smoke (smoker's rooms are given to non-smokers, terrible). Overall, the hotel is just 2-star one, while prices are high even for 3-stars hotels in Japan.

Review 4:Location is good, as well as the personal (which is always good in Japan). But that's all.

Review 5:Not sure if it was booking.com or the hotels fault. As a couple we wanted a double room with one fee. We were trying to booking one room just 2 days before we needed it. This hotel could not supply - was it they didn't do doubles are they had all gone - even whilst there we were unable to confirm which applied. So we had to pay twice i.e. for 2 singles. We needed a place near the station which was the selling point for us. But although 300 yards away - the "how to get there map" poorly indicates position of hotel and its relation to the large station AND pin-pointing your exact position in the station seemed impossible. Japanese on the station could not interpret or indicate our station position on the the map from which to move towards the hotel! My wife thought her bed cover was grubby. General decor edging towards being "really tired" - my bed sloped slightly to the left getting out side. Rooms were relatively small, Corridor behind the room door to the bed seemed narrower than hotels. No wi-fi access to internet just LAN cable connection. The window opening mechanism seemed non-standard and jammed in one room. From my room I could see a little into a neighbouring room... thats not good

Review 6:The ability to leave luggage after check-out whilst visiting local sites and the general friendliness of staff - whose skills in English was SAD FACE.

Review 7:Very pleased with my stay there.Good western breakfast.Close to train station.Very nice hotel.staff was helpful and I speak hardly any Japanese. No problems at all.

Review 8:Nothing.

Review 9:Close to railway station, good basic room and facilities.

Review 10:No 'Do not disturb' sign. Tried to rest in my room but kept getting interrupted by the staff.

Review 11:No WiFi... Dial up cable connection available in rooms

Review 12:Close to Omiya station..

Review 13:No much more than a box, hall noise audible.

Review 14:Price

Review 15:It seemed to me that the air conditioner worked poorly.

Review 16:Very nice hotel, the room has everything you need. Hotel has a very convenient location - 3 minutes from a major railway junction. Nearby you will find convenience stores, restaurants and cafes where you can eat. Good breakfast, there is a western option. I want to thank the hotel staff, they will always help you to solve all questions, including how to get to a particular place.

Review 17:The non-smoking room was more expensive than the smoking room, though not by much. Location is a little hard to find from Omiya station for those unfamiliar with navigating in Japan.

Review 18:All the usual features of a Japanese business hotel.

Review 19:Location and value for money

Review 20:service, very nice people.

Review 21:very convenient location, within walking distance to shopping and eating places.very close to the train station.breakfast was included.

Review 22:Staffs at front dest do not know English. The room is full of smell of cigarette.
