Review 2：Marco & Mary (from Finland) were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The guest house was located in a beautiful valley between the german and Austrian border we could walk through a gorge to get to town (45 minutes). Mittenwald is beautiful. Marco and Mary offered a shuttle service and went beyond expectations. We booked in for 3 nights and stayed for 6. Our room overlooked the mountains and river, it was breathtaking. A great Austrian restaurant a cricket pitch away with great chef/owner Emil who provided a very entertaining experience. We didn't have a car which did not hinder us in any way. We would not hesitate to recommend this pension to anyone.

Review 3：The owners of the guest house were absolutely wonderful. They provided interesting ideas of what to do in the area. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The most extensive breakfast we had in our 3 week trip. Very close to Mittenwald which is one of our favorite German towns. Certainly will return and hope to stay longer than our two nights for sure.

Review 5：The couple that own and run this place are quite attuned to their customers needs. The facility is clean, comfortable, and charming. Breakfast was standard fare, but tasty, and of good quality. Mary spent a fair bit of time chatting with us, and patiently answering our many questions.

Review 7：Everything - accommodations, breakfast, owners, their recommendations for local attractions/restaurants - was great. My husband and I were looking for a nice place to stay for a couple of days during our vacation that was quiet, clean, and somewhat remote; we couldn't have found a better place! After long hikes, it was a pleasure to return to our cozy, quiet room. We will definitely plan on staying again when we return to this area in Germany/Austria.

Review 8：I'm discovering that Europe has very hard beds to Australia, so I thought that the beds were hard but that is just me!!

Review 9：Mary & Marko are wonderful hosts, by going out of there way to make sure you have a great time. The food is beautiful with lots of choice!!

Plus they serve the best coffee we had in Germany or Austria ! Going to Luetasch or Mittenwald ? We highly recommend staying at the Gasthaus Bärenwirt !

Review 13：The folks who operate the guesthouse were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent! Nice cool mountain air and only four km from Mittenwald!

Review 14：Emailed them twice after we left because we think we left something there - I got no response. Maybe they didn't get the emails but I emailed right from their website link.

Review 15：Owner was very nice and accommodating. Food was delicious. Nice quiet location. Rooms were very clean. Wifi was good. Definitely would stay there again.

Review 16：Food was a little salty for the salmon, but overall very tasty. Only the lady owner seems to speak English but it was fine, and the staff are all friendly. The double apartment on the first floor(no24) was a nice size, and all the Windows were facing the mountain on the other side the road so it is pretty picturesque. Shame the bath tub does not have a shower curtain or glass separator, so you have to be careful not to wet the floor. The apartment is apparently sound proofed, but I could hear the door downstairs closing faintly. But besides that,I didn't hear anything else. They have a lovely clean sauna downstairs. We were very happy with our stay.
