Reviews for Pierrot
Review 1:The hotel shares a jewelry store, so when you arrive all you see is the jewelry store, no signs for the hotel. The entrance to the hotel is located behind the jewelry store.
Review 2:The staff were very nice and informative! The location of the hotel is in the center of the town, lots of great places to see within walking distance.
Review 3:Nothing to complain about!
Review 4:Everything! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and pretty location. It is close to Oświęcim market square and Auschwitz Museum which was the purpose of our visit.
Review 5:The curtains don't make the room fully dark at the daytime, so there is a light at the morning at the room that can be annoying. The staff don't clean your room.
Review 6:The location is really really good! Few meters from the main market square and 3 minutes walk to the Jewish center and synagogue. You can use the kitchen at any time!
Review 7:Nothing.
Review 8:Very conveniently situated by the town square. There was entertainment in the square the night we arrived. Excellent hotel for the price. Very friendly girl on reception.
Review 9:Nothing hotel clean, good value well recommended
Review 10:Claudia called me as we were quite late arriving, she was very polite and for 35 euros the room was very comfortable and a break of the continental nature just perfect.
Review 11:No staff on late at night (10pm) when we needed a taxi. Found a phone number but couldn't get through and no one there to assist.
Review 12:Location..right on old town square. Easy access by taxi to rail station and Auschwitz and back. Some one was there at 5am to let us in. Very accommodating.
Review 13:Wifi connectivity, there is no 'reception' as such, insufficient toilettry, and a super-watery 'shampoo'.
Review 14:Good location, very friendly staff.
Review 15:Shower backed up over feet. Disgusting. Two out of three staff were very friendly. Third member was very rude in kitchen, forced my mother to leave due to uncomfortable behavior and coldness.
Review 16:Location to memorial was good.
Review 17:The hotel had all you would need for an overnight stay. We were in the area to visit Auschwitz and so the hotel was in the perfect spot in the beautiful Market Square. For a small hotel it was extremely clean. The air conditioning was a luxury (especially with the temperature reaching the low 30's!) The staff were also willing to make you breakfast at whatever time you wanted it.
Review 18:excellent facilities at a great price. just situated off a loving square with bars & restaurants so no need to walk to far if you but wish too & a brisk 30min walk to the auschwitz museum
Review 19:No-frills means no-frills. There was no soap, let alone shampoo, in the toilets (toilet paper was supplied). Breakfast was self-serve and quite modest.
Review 20:This is an inexpensive, no-frills hotel in the middle of the town of Oswiecim, Poland. Wi-fi was good, and the rooms were clean, though basic.
Review 21:Great location and free parking right in the heart of town
Review 22:Staff
Review 23:Everything

Review 40:The staff were wonderfully accommodating, and the room quite large. Great value for money!
Review 41:Slightly difficult to find.
Review 42:Location, friendly welcome, good breakfast.
Review 43:Small rooms and small beds
Review 44:Location
Review 45:No headboard on the bed.
Review 46:Clean room. Good location. Value for money.
Review 47:Couldn't buy breakfast because the day before they had a day off. Had to go to cafe where personnel didn't want to speak to us in English.
Review 48:We loved our stay here. Quiet place, close to Auschwitz Museum.
Review 49:- very simple breakfast
Review 50:- good location for visiting Auswitz - pleasant and romantic downtown - beautiful promenade along the river behind the pension - clean and comfortable rooms
Review 51:The staff were nice and the room and bathroom were large and clean. Weeven had a balcony. We left a cell phone at the hotel and they offeredto mail it back to the us free of charge.
Review 52:The standard of cleaning wasn't high enough though. On my arrival I found a toenail on the bathroom floor which I found repulsing. The comfort of my stay was also somewhat compromised by the thin walls which made sleeping very difficult, especially that every sound from the room next door could be heard very clearly, including the sound of the TV, the squeaking of the bed and the eventual snoring - a routine repeated by my neighbours night after night.
Review 53:The location is right in the middle of the main market square and only 25 mins' walk from both the train station and the memorial site. Wi-Fi was super fast and the TV had channels in all major languages. I liked the bathroom too; it was relatively new and there were no issues with mould or anything of the kind. I also thought it was kind of the guesthouse owners to offer access to tea making facilities in the kitchen and I know that some of the other guests did some cooking in there too.
Review 54:Everyone was inviting and friendly. The rooms are modern, styled, and comfortable. Full access to kitchen. Great location near the beautiful, peaceful, river park. Highly recommend, especially for those traveling to the Auschwitz Memorial, for it is good to see, stay, and get a feel for the pleasantness of the local population and city surrounding. Oswiecim is a very pleasant and peaceful town especially in the center.
Review 55:Nothing
Review 56:Great location for visiting Aushwitz. The hotel is in the heart of the extremely pleasant old town of Oswecim. A short taxi ride from Aushwitz or you can catch the 28 bus or even walk along the riverside if you are feeling up to a 2 km walk. The staff are great! Their English is more than adequate to meet your needs! I travelled independently from Vienna to Katovice and the local train to Oswecim. Then 15 PL Zaloty to the hotel. Auzwitch was heaving with people and I went mid week in March! I will recommend this hotel to everyone! Wifi best in Europe!
Review 57:Speaking only english made things difficult. Staff is not always available and there was no phone to call for a taxi. Some type of welcome information would be helpful. Business around the square spoke very little english and were rude on occasion.
Review 58:Great location, very comfortable and clean.
Review 59:Found osweicim to be a lot quieter than expected. Not enough restaurants and cafes and pubs. People didn't appear to be very welcoming but that may be due to the language barrier.
Review 60:Close to the camps of Auschwitz which was the purpose of our visit.
Review 61:One very small gripe. TV package didn't have one English speaking channel. That said...free wifi available so if internet device with you shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Review 62:Staff great. In centre of town. Good for museums/social activities/transport etc
Review 63:It seemed a long walk to train station and the auschwitz museum
Review 64:Really good guest house, great value. Smart rooms, excellent fresh breakfast. Clean and friendly. Near town centre. There was very accurate info at the hotel explaining where and when to catch the bus to krakow,. The bus stop is very close to the hotel.
Review 65:The WIFI kept dropping out, which if you are turning to book the next night in another hotel/area like we did you will possibly have a lot of trouble. Very basic breakfast. The other people staying in the hotel kept walking in and out all night which kept us up. Actually driving/parking at the hotel was a bit of a nightmare, had to park the car and walk around trying to find it first (there was road works in the street). Once we found the hotel we found out we had to drive through the town again and come through at the back of the hotel.
Review 66:Lovely people working in the hotel, very friendly, clean room, great location for visiting the Auschwitz camp. The parking was off the street in the hotels private parking area. Felt safe. Would stay there again.
Review 67:The main square in Oswiecim is under construction. The hotel is on thecorner of the square. It is very difficult to get to if you are drivingbut this is no fault of the hotel.
Review 68:Great hotel for the price. Best bathroom we've had in Europe. Bestwifi we've had in a hotel.
Review 69:Little bit hard to find. Wifi connection was quite slow.
Review 70:Nice little hotel and it was worth the money. Fitted perfectly in our needs just to have a small hotel where to stay one night.
Review 71:If you like to sleep a late, huge construction work may be a small problem - noisy mornings. No air condition.
Review 72:Place was middle of town and everything was pretty handy. Room was nice and clean. They have a good and free parking place for car.
Review 73:The walls were a little thin, so we heard quite a bit from the room next door.
Review 74:The owner was a sweetheart! She even went so far as to drive us to the train station early in the morning. The hotel itself was also very cozy and accommodating.
Review 75:I was looking for a lower price, but I thought it was a good value, regardless.
Review 76:The location, the cleanliness, and the facilities were great. The staff was friendly as well.
Review 77:everything was alright, we were fully satiesfied!
Review 78:nice b&b-hotel in the middle of the town with all you need, very clean, reasonable breakfast, friendly employees, good value for the money!
Review 79:I thought the staff were absolutely lovely. They weer very helpful. They were also very relaxed and it gave a nice atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back.
Review 80:The room did not have baby beds. We had to go up several flights of stairs with luggage since there is not a lift. The water is non potable, but no water was supplied to drink. Tea was offered in the morning however.
Review 81:Room was spacious, and came with a pull out bed, which was nice. The staff was kind. The location was close to Auschwitz, but still needed to take a taxi. Restaurants were close by, but service was very abrupt and rude. Rooms were clean and cozy. I would stay again!
Review 82:That part of town was being excavated, so finding the hotel was difficult. I needed local help and even they were confused. Once the road works are finished, perhaps it will improved.
Review 83:Comfortable room,
Review 84:Cheap, clean and very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast room where youcould help yourself to coffee etc ant time. Fridge available etc. Trymax cafe green doors down for great Italian and ice-cream.
Review 85:Better travel and local advice would have been appreciated. My faultreally as I don't speak any Polish. I would stay there again, reallya good place.
Review 86:Very nice family run. Friendly atmosphere, nice room and bathroom. Greatlocation in the old city.
Review 87:Room was nice and clean. Liked the small balcony that overlooked the street and center of town.
Review 88:a bit noisy, lack of shutters, hard to find the hotel, a bit stinky bathroom
Review 89:Nice staff, good breakfast, quick wifi, good location, nice bathroom

Review 93:Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Review 94:The hotel was good. Situated in the city centre. Everything was near. Personal wery helpfull. Small family hotel. I was feeling like at home.
Review 95:Road works blocked Access to Hotel without alternative Access.
Review 96:Restaurants, Museum, Staff in shops
Review 97:No air con was difficult in temperatures plus 40!
Review 98:Absolutely lovely staff couldn't do enough for you, spotless and clean.
Review 99:The room wasn't clean. Lots of noise was coming out from outside, e.g. roadworks and citt night life.
