Review 1：Location was a bit far to walk from the nearest station.

Review 2：Old antique feel of the place, elevator as that old classic feel. Staff was helpfull in providing directions and assistance to and from the train station.

Review 3：Very comfortable hotel on a hill with splendid views over the bay and towards Takashima Island. We had dinner in the restaurant which is expensive but the menu, the quality and the nice view is it worth.

Review 4：Our room had a lot of dust, and windows were dusty which was pity with such a nice view. When I emptied the bathtube a lot of water poured on the bathroom floor first, some problem with tubes but it was OK after that. Many people say that breakfast was excellent, but based on my experience of other Japanese hotels and ryokans, it was not exceptional (the Japanese breakfast).

Review 5：We had a corner suite with excellent sea view and beautiful sun set. Easy access to Takeshima island. Nice romantic seating for couples in the restaurant with sea view. This hotel has some old time charm for sure.

Review 6：They should have a form for foreigners to fill out so they don't have to ask so many questions when our Japanese is not so good. They could also have more flash cards for choices and explanations as well. Possible itchy bites from the carpet. The window in the bathroom seems dirty on the outside with spider webs and fragile like it could break. We did not have a rental car and we didn't know the hotel was on such a steep hill, it was an exercise to leave and return. Maybe a little shuttle Taxi down the hill and back again is an idea for the future? I probably should have booked a room with a double bed - that's my own fault. I booked one with two singles for the cheapest price forgetting how much I hate single beds.

Review 7：Such a beautiful hotel! Amazing views! Extremely friendly and polite staff despite that fact that only one of us could understand Japanese but not speak it very well. I didn't know breakfast was included and that was great. Being right next to Takeshima Island is a plus too.
