Reviews for Hotel Kamieniec

Review 1:Seriously outdated, "improvements" made over the years not to same caliber as original construction. Good value for price. Restaurant better than expected, nice breakfast, very close to Auschwitz Museum.

Review 2:Cool old property, grand in its day.

Review 3:Reception smells like dog. Carpets old and furniture from 1950 but not antique. Garden not maintained.

Review 4:Location is great. Staff was friendly and food good value for money. Bathroom good.

Review 5:Welcomed by 2 dogs, cute but their smell was quite overwhelming in the reception area. Towels rough, no room cleaning or bin emptying, no proper bed sheet cover. Advertised free wifi did not work in room. The location is off a busy road and isolated from sights, restaurants etc if you are on foot or bicycle.

Review 6:The 3 bedroomed room had a big balcony and good hand held hot water shower

Review 7:The decoration is awfull. Extremely old fashioned and uncomfortable. Slightly odd smell too.

Review 8:The location was good for where we wanted to go, the concentration camps. Lady at reception was friendly enough. She didn't speak English but made an effort to comunicate.

Review 9:no tea facilities.TV did not work. no bathroom complimentary items or hairdryer. locals sat outside on the hallway smoking, drinking and talking till up to midnight, very intimidating. Felt like a very bad 1970s hostel.

Review 11:outdated furniture

Review 12:Quiet location , very friendly staff , spacious room, possibility of breakfast serving small terrace , near all major attractions, sufficient parking

Review 13:Everything was very old.

Review 14:Great and warm service and really nice staff. They were very helpfull with everything. I don't mind dogs, but you shouldn't go there when you are allergic.. Wifi works fine. The food is ok.

Review 15:It's not good value for money. I suppose you can find something cheaper but we didn't have time to search anything else. The hotel isn't clean enough. You can smell dogs which are running around in the lobby! Old carpets and furniture, comunist style of rooms. It hasn't been done up for many years. We didn't dare to eat there. We didn't use WiFi so I don't know how does or doesn't work.

Review 16:The staff is very friendly. You can get there whenever you want. We arrived at 1:00 a.m. Regarding to the forein languages spoken at the hotel I didn't try to speak because Polish is my mother tongue. They have a parking free of charge. With regard to the location, the hotel isn't far from the Museum. We arrived by car so I don't know how you can get at the Museum using public transport.

Review 17:It seems that at least corridor and room carpets would need replacement. However a general renovation would help more.

Review 18:Very, very pleasant personnel. Delicious food. Pedestrian bridge to opposite bank of the river will be an asset for KL visitors.

Review 19:A truly dirty, smelly place. Old carpets, free-running dogs in the reception an elsewhere. A distinct smell of clorine, urine, and who knows what meets you inside the lobby. We didn't dare to eat there, so we didn't try their restaurant. Never again!

Review 20:Room very run down and 2 small single beds uncomfortable.

Review 21:Lovely gardens and friendly dogs! Outside of hotel charming.

Review 22:Food excellent especially the herrings and breakfast. Very friendly staff and dogs!

Review 23:as the only guest it was spooky, food not that good, room old and tired and the hotel had its resident not to frendly dogs
