Review 1：Hotel Galicja is excellent!!!! the hotel has two restaurants one more upper class serving 5 course meals and one more relaxed where the locals come and eat providing an excellent lively atmosphere for all ages. The hotel has a sports bar and offers a free welcome drink on arrival.. Overall the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is modern and the rooms are spacious with very big bathrooms and very clean. The spa is amazing. The atmosphere is really relaxing and they have saunas, Jacuzzi's and and and.... I went for a 45 min massage and was probably the best massage I ever had. The best of all the prices for are really affordable. We will recommend this hotel to any traveler !!!!

Review 3：The choice of food in the 2 restaurants was excellant. Quality and Quantity 5 stars. The spa was relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Review 4：The whirlpool was a little cool, and that's being picky! We would have liked to stay longer to spend more time at the spa.

Review 5：The staff were excellent. They called our cab driver for us, they offered to help if we couldn't get back from Auschwitz, they gave us excellent directions, and attended to everything we needed. Internet was fast and free. The room was nice and clean. The food in the restaurant was wonderful, and reasonable. You have to take a taxi from Aushwitz and the train station, but it was only 25 pz.

Review 6：Room was very noisy . Heard everything from the street and from the kitchen (?) . It is a wellness hotel but no bathrobes , slippers in the room . No hairdryer in the bathroom . We got soap and shower gel only on second day. No minibar , only 1 english channel available in the tv. Dinner we paid in advance - never again !

Review 18：There are two sections to this hotel. Make sure when you book you book in the newer section. On the weekends, there may be a wedding going on in the banquet room and you will hear some of the music until the early hours of the morning. This did not disturb us but may be a problem for light sleepers. Staff was willing to relocate any guest who would have a problem with the noise if there were rooms available.

Review 19：Hotel was very convenient for visiting Auschwitz. Staff was very accommodating and spoke English quite well. Food was delicious in both the Italian and Polish restaurants. Both accommodations and food were a good value for the money. Hotel was spotlessly clean and spa was beautiful. Air conditioning, elevator, and good WiFi.

Review 21：Asked why there was no 'whitener' or milk for the 'welcome' coffee in our room -was told it was not provided and that a small jug of fresh milk would be provided if required at an extra cost ! (in fairness,the housekeeping staff provided it free on this occasion when I persisted!) The shower tray leaked badly! Very strange shape if room - but comfortable. However, we were disappointed by the room's outlook!

Review 23：Bathroom shower had no grab bar, shower sink not very good, water collects at bottom. Bed a little too soft, and there were no additional small pillows available on request. Wi-fi only worked well outside the entrance of the room, in bed the signal was too weak, did not work; fridge in the room is tiny, for most people it would suffice though. No swimming pool in a spa hotel.

Review 35：We stayed at the Galicja during our visit to Auschwitz base don its good reviews,and it did not disappoint. Our room in the newer part of the hotel was roomy, modern and cozy. We took advantage of the spa for some massages after a long day visiting the camps. When leaving, we were sad to think that visiting the camps might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and immediately began trying to come up withe excuses to visit this wonderful establishment again.

Review 40：The only disappointment was that the Jaccuzzi was out of order our entire stay as we booked this hotel particularly for the wellness aspect. Despite this we enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms and had 2 wonderful massages. My only suggestion would be that the spa staff maybe take into consideration guests that are in the spa area, are their to relax, and do not want to hear their heavy footsteps and shouting to each other between rooms...or see workmen walking through in their outdoor shoes. This happened on 2 days out of 3.

Review 41：Beautiful hotel,very high standard situated an hour from Krakow, which suited us as we wanted to be out of town and be able to explore. The hotel is wonderful, the staff were very helpful and the superior room with a balcony had the most comfortable beds we have slept in. We had a half board option for £21 for 4 nights for 2 people...outstanding value....we could have anything to eat in the Italian Trattorria or the Polish Restaurant, which even offered Presidential Dinners. We had a sumptuous breakfast every morning that lasted us nearly all day. The cellar bar was cosy and we enjoyed many a vodka or two in there after dinner. Delighted that the staff returned my full purse to my hotel room within 30 minutes, I did not know it was lost. Many thanks to the staff or their hospitality and honesty.

Review 42：Excellent room spacious , very clean, large balcony and extremely good facilities. The food in both hotel restaurants was very good and so cheap. Good location for death camp visit which was the purpose of our trip. I would highly recommend on all fronts.

Review 43：This is a great inn located approx 10 minutes drive from Auchwitz/Birkenau memorial. There are actually 2 parts of hotel to stay in. This was confusing on Booking.com because it is listed as 2 hotels. One is the historic building that was once the post office, while the second more modern building is attached by a walkway to the other building. There a 2 restaurants and a pub. The traditional restaurant served delicious local fare, and yummy pierogies!! This same restaurant is where the breakfast is served in the morning. There are so many choices, including meats, cheeses, salads, and apple pancake. So yummy! The front desk staff very very helpful and the parking area safe. This is a restful retreat to stay as you make the journey to Auschwitz.

Review 44：Complicated hotel layout: one has to go out on the car park in order to get to the restaurant or else walk through a labyrinth. Some staff members were nice and friendly while others were quite rude. Both hotel restaurants are small and packed with locals, making it uneasy for hotel residents to get a table for dinner.

A decision I would recommend to all, the hotel is fantastic, the food was wonderful at a fraction on krakow prices all in all I would recommend it too all, but if I could do it again I would book 3 or more days there.
