Reviews for Richmond Hotel Premier Musashikosugi

Review 1:The location is perfect. Between JR line and Subway. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Could see Mt Fuji on a clear day!

Review 2:very good breakfast. good location, nice view from the room window, slightly away from big cities like tokyo, shinjuku, shibuya, akibahara, ginza, etc. about 20-30 mins by train. also close to yokohama 20mins, kamakura 30mins, hakone 45mins. recommend: activate jr pass after you're done with tokyo area. nex round-trip ticket $35.

Review 3:NA

Review 4:Superb! I love this area, near for train station especially for NEX. And not difficult to reach Shinkansen (just go trough Shinakawa). Just a few minute to Gyugaoga (lot of hips restaurant and nice for walk around), a few minute to Kawasaki (lot of place for eating). Recently I alway stay here, almost every time when I have buz trip in Japan. And will stay here again and again , love!!!

Review 5:The beds are comfortable and rooms are not too small comparing to other same class hotels in Kawasaki.. The breakfast includes rich variety of Japanese, Chinese and continental dishes... The distance to main Musashi Khosugi station and Bus terminal is just a 5-10 min walk which is a good advantage for guests those intend to visit different towns frequently...There are two big shopping malls with food courts, fitness center and banks in front of Hotel.. And just 10-15 min walk to main market... The staff is very cooperative and always willing to help.

Review 6:As anticipated, the room was small which works for single business people with one piece of luggage. But for couples with more than one piece of luggage, it was difficult to find space to put things. Only Japanese channels available on the TV.

Review 7:Hotel has direct links to both airports, by express train from Narita and by bus from Haneda. Has a shopping mall across the street with many shops and restaurants. The JR train station is around the corner with links to Tokyo, Yokohama and Kamakura. Hotel is in a calm residential neighbourhood. Room had a kettle and small frig. Laundry facilities on floor where there was also a microwave. The entire hotel is nonsmoking.

Review 8:Very well run, clean hotel with nice rooms. It's right beside a large train station with trains running to central Tokyo & Yokohama as well as the Narita Express. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice buffet breakfast for a reasonable price.

Review 9:Location is a bit far from city centre but with only 5 minutes walk to the subway station makes travelling very convenient. Breakfast is average. Nearby eating outlet in Tokyo centre and grand tree has very quality food outlet. Room is relatively small but the interior design is such that you don't feel congested. Cleanliness is excellent. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful and can speak simple English. Value for money.

Review 10:I have stayed twice in this hotel. Everything is top standard. The room was equipped with everything we needed and for the price we paid and given the perfect location, I give this hotel 5 star rating. Can't wait to be back :)

Review 11:None

Review 12:Very close to JR train station, easy to get to Tokio, Yokohama. Very good breakfast with a wide rage of Japanese and Western food. The room is very wide and the bed is comfortable (we have stayed in a twin room, 2 adults and 1 child)

Review 13:Room was small for two person. It was challenging to find a room to open the luggages.

Review 14:location was good, a couple minutes away from the train station and shopping malls. Room was clean and well-equipped. Double bed was very comfortable.

Review 15:Restaurants near by close around 10~11 pm.

Review 16:Bed is comfortable the price was reasonable. It a high class business hotel in Japan. The views are nice from the hotel. Musashikosugi is an up and coming area in Tokyo so there is slowly more thing going in. Restruants tend to close early though around 10 pm. only 2 train stations away from Shinagawa. or you can go the other way and head toward Yokohama.

Review 17:No staff or security on the ground floor, only security camera. Anybody can just come up without permission.

Review 18:Great location with proximity good walking distance to subway, JR station, bus station, shopping malls and restaurants. Staffs are very friendly and can speak English very well. They also reply your email within a day!

Review 19:Lovely, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff, free wifi, unlimited buffet breakfast, 2 minutes from several shopping areas and 5 minutes walking distance from station. Approximately 20-25 minutes to Tokyo station and 1 hour 20 on narita express train. Bedroom was a bit small but had everything we needed such as fridge, private bathroom and free essentials like toothbrush/toothpaste, shaver, shower gel, shampoo and slippers etc. Wanted to take the bed home with me as it was so comfortable!! Would use this hotel again and would recommend it. Can't think of any negative comments

Review 20:The comfy queen bed is up against the wall on one side, so one of us has to do a bit of gymnastics to get in and out!

Review 21:the breakfast, the easy NEX trip from Narita to Musashi-kosug and easy access to the JR Nambu line, and the view of Fuji-san.

Review 22:The staff don't really know what they are doing with the breakfastcoupons, they gave the coupons to us then took them back and gave themto us again a couple of times when we were at the counter seemingtotally confused, but at least they are friendly. Only one door card isgiven to even double/twin rooms, as the card is required to triggerthe lights and ac, both guests must move together or there wont beelectricity in the room, very saddening. Unlike most hotels of the samegenre, the free skin lotion packets / shower caps etc. are notopenly provided (free to take) at a stationed corner, instead you haveto be offered by the staff at the counter or must request on your own, somehow inconvenient.

Review 23:No log in required for their free wifi, speedy and strong signal, simplyamazing. The place look very new and there's many shopping aroundthe hotel. The closest station, musashikosugi station is 3mins walk awayand has direct express train that goes to Narita Airport. Self check outmachines made things easy (if you're paying cash) and is better thanhaving the staffs handle it.

Review 24:reception is on 5th floor.

Review 25:Staff are very friendly and polite. There are very close shopping centers and restaurants, espicially for foreigners Mc Donalds and western style foods.

Review 26:the Richmond is right near the NEX stop, so very easy to get to after the long flight from Philadelphia. It is ccmfortable, welcoming, and serves a fantastic breakfast, with delicious Japanese selections and also Western options for the unadventurous types. I

Review 27:At first I thought massage chair in the room was free as a compliment, but actually it require a payment to use. I think it is better to remove it from the room to make a more spacious room.

Review 29:Arrived 11.55 am flight from UK . Room ready but extra charge,. Happy to pay !

Review 33:My Japanese language ability only so-so and staff there mostly have enough English. But - one or two are hopeless and one was just plain rude. That put me off...

Review 34:I have stayed there for business and for leisure. Whenever I am in the area I try to stay there - and by area I mean Tokyo/Kawasaki/Yokohama.

Review 35:Bed, was a bit too hard for me.

Review 36:Location - just 100 m from the NEx station. The station itself it a hugecomplex of ships, restaurants and offices. Spotless clean. Very helpfulstaff. All facilities are top notch (E.G. guest washing machines, tv,massage chair etc.). Hotel also provides a usb charger in the room.Bkfast buffet.. Very nice. Lots of different dishes (Western &Japanses styles).

Review 37:Room was to small for the price. No place at all to lay your suitcase open except on the bed.

Review 85:Quiet location Shops nearby Good rail links (including Narita Express) Helpful staff

Review 86:Can not think of anything that we didn't like.

Review 87:1) 5-7 minutes walking distance from hotel to train station 2) within 30 minutes from Haneda airport by taxi and 40 minutes by bus and station just 5 minutes away from hotel. 3) though small by American standards, the room was large enough for 2 people to manuever effectively without running into each other; was very clean; had air conditioning, a small refrigerator and freezer area; had free WI-FI with internet access; and 2 bottles of water and bathroom amenities (shampoo, body wash, hair conditoner in large pump bottles, Japanese bath towels, hair brush, tooth brush with toothpaste, shaving razor, q-tips) that were included as part of the room rate. 4) We purchased the breakfast option and very glad we did. It was well worth the money (about $10.00 US daily per person) and included both American, Japanese and Korean food choices. 5) It rained the first day we were there and the hotel had complimentary umbrellas for us to borrow. 6) Bathroom toilet is a bidette. 7) Hotel staff very helpful and friendly and there is always someone who can speak English.

Review 88:Close to station. Nice clean rooms

Review 89:More information (brochures, etc) in English please, to cater to international travellers.
