Review 2：Good location for a stop-over en route from northern Portugal to the Algarve. Very friendly and helpful staff - excellent food (Lunchtime snack menu, Dinner and excellent Buffet Breakfast) Superb swimming pool with views over the Tagus valley.

Review 5：We put the "plesae do not disturb" on our door, and still the staff cleaned the room, this was a little bir of a disappointment.

Review 6：The hotel was a real pearl, especially the pool area and the staff. Excellent choise of wines in the resturant, good meals.

Review 7：The Restaurant operates with one employee only and apparently by the time he took between table service and going to the kitchen it was a one man show. Whenever we wanted to ask for something we had to wait aprox 15 minutes for hime to get back from the kitchen.

Review 9：The wi-fi only worked if we sat on the luggage rack near the door to the hallway. The bathroom wall and floor tiles need a little work. There was no plug for the sink.

Review 10：We came for the National Food and Wine Festival. We liked that it was only a twenty minute walk to the fair from the hotel through a safe and friendly area. We liked the lobby/lounge area where we could get coffee and cake in the morning. We liked the courteous way the management handled the error I had made when booking. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant.

Review 15：It is a very poor quality hotel and service. Personel was rather rude. There was no air conditioning in the room, and no water. I asked for a taxi in the morning and it did not come. My take away breakfast it was not I asked for.

Review 48：Beneath the glitzy (and self-impressed air), this place needs some rethinking. It is not nearly as nice as it at first seems. There are always little niggling things that annoy--hard bed, lack of electrical sockets, etc. It is in need of some rethinking. Not bad, but it can be pricey at times for what it really is.

Review 56：To use the swimming-pool, you need to have a swimming cap. If you do not have, you must rent it from the hotel for 2 Euros. It was very noisy in the room, because there was a door to neighbours room and a big slot in it, so we could hear everything they were doing.
