Review 1：The road leading to the resort has no lights and there are parts that are not yet concrete. The beach can be accessed after a 5 minute trek. The water pressure in the room can be improved on. Overall, these are just minor stuff compared to the overall experience.

Review 2：The place is modern with a very calming and peaceful atmosphere. Its place where you can relax and really enjoy the seabreeze. The staff especially the owner, Maribel is helpful, kind and accommodating. She's very fun to talk with.

Review 3：If you go here dont plan on leaving and going to other beaches its difficult. Far away and a nasty road for access. Unfortunately it just wasnt the type of place i was after, it was for a different market of traveler.

Review 5：It's about 20 minutes from Panglao, which is not that far, but you have to pay about Php 500/one way every time you want to get something to eat or go to the beach, etc... in the end, you'll spend more (adding transportation costs per day) in this resort than just getting a 3- or 4-star resort right at Panglao Beach. Bad value for money. Service, while the owner tries to make it pleasant, is not good. Food is not very good either.

Review 6：Not much, really. It's not bad per se, but there is nothing either that is wrong recommending. Bad location (far from everything else), no beach (seaview is just that - a view of the sea), pool looks very dirty, food options are minimal, beddings don't have a "fresh" feeling, bad internet, no cellular signal, etc...

Review 7：A bit far from a proper beach (10-15 mins by car from Alona Beach). Some works on the inner road to reach the resort would be needed.

Review 9：The staff were warm, welcoming and always very attentive. Room was clean and comfortable and the food served there was always delicious. It is quite secluded around this resort, which is nice if you want a quiet getaway.

Review 10：I enjoyed a wonderful stay at La Pernela in July. The property is in a beautiful, remote location which provides a relaxing atmosphere. Maryvelle is a marvelous hostess - she arranged tours, served delicious meals, and was a joy to talk to. Highly recommended!

Review 11：Way too expensive for what it offers. At 4.000p per night you should geta resort type room, this is a medium level room with very basic comfort.Far from all activities and Alona beach, Alona beach is not overcrowdedand is a totally cool place to be, no need to hide so far away. Being sofar gives you no other choice than accepting the overpriced offers ofthe hotel for everything, from food to taxi rides to island trips.

Review 13：We have been 14 days there and they changed the bedclothes just 1 time.You need to ask for: toilet paper, fresh towels and even for water. Wewere giving them our laundry and we got it back within 4 days and afterthat they were stinking horrible. We asked for transportation to thepier is expensive in the @ page is mentioned that it is for free.Allhotel guests had problems to take a shower because the water pressurewas nearly 0. After asking the owner to put on the pressure it was okagain, but only for several minutes. That hotel is in the middle ofnowhere and there is no beach. The beach is far away from there. İt isa bad place for families with kids because the beach is far away and itis complicated to go there. The owner is steadly there and talkingtalking talking it is ok but sometimes to much. The trips which areoffered are to much expensive go directly to the beach and ask there!
