Review 1：The front desk guy did not smile once he seemed annoyed to be working there. He wasn't helpful at all when we were checking in. He made me pay more money then I should have and wouldn't take my phone reservation info even though he had a printed one out in front of him!

Review 2：I loved the location of the hotel, it is right across the street from the beach. IF you are going to stay here request the UPGRADED rooms, because they will automatically put you in the motel side of the building which was like staying in a truck stop motel owned by the Bates! We endured our first night but quickly moved the next day, although we had to pay extra even though my reservations stated I was suppose to be in the upgraded room in the first place so be very careful when booking here.

Review 5：Location is good, room was horrible. Blankets had dirt/blood on them. My husband is 6'4", bed way to short & when we asked about getting a bigger bed, they said we had to deal with "booking.com". And pool was gross, put your hand in the water & you can't see your hand because it's do Mercy (dirty), seen 4/5 men in pool all day, and not once did they leave to pee, gross. Will not stay there again.

Review 13：When we arrived very travel weary at 10pm CST, desk clerk claimed he did not have our reservation. He acted as though they were out of available rooms but may have one at higher price than booking.com. After 10 more minutes of struggling to unpack my laptop and sign on to their wi-fi (available AT THE DESK ONLY), I was finally able to prove to him that I had in fact received confirmation. He relented but still charged me one dollar more. Not sure why but I succumbed. Climbed three flights of steps carrying our own luggage, slept, and checked out ASAP the next morning. We will not stay there again.

Review 16：No wifi in rooms was inconvenient. The website says that they have a beach club, but reception said they didn't. Having said that, the waiters from the restaurant delivered food out to the beach. Service in the restaurant was terrible so we left and never went back. There could be more beach chairs and umbrellas

Review 19：You have to cross the street to get to the beach, but it's so close and so easy to cross the street (minimal traffic) that it doesn't matter. Probably 100 steps from lobby to sand. Close to EVERYTHING. Restaurants on the sand. Massages on the sand. Incredible. Hotel has very nice pool.

Review 20：My room smelled moldy. When I arrived at the hotel they couldn't locate my reservation and it just generally seemed like the staff did not know what was going on. My bathroom was dirty and I found a used bandaid in the shower. When I got home from my trip all of my clothes and belongings smelled of the hotel. Would not stay here again.

Review 26：Rooms smelt musty. Probably from the damp as some rooms don't have separate bathroom, the shower & toilet are basically in the room! We changed rooms to get a separate bathroom. Then no balcony in second room. Basically check your room like someone else recommended. No restaurant but plenty near by so not an issue. Decor old fashioned. Needs a spruce of paint and new bed sheets. Wi-fi only worked in reception no-where else.

Review 51：The main downfall would have to be the wifi. When we booked we were told that wifi would only be available in the common areas. This was not the case! The only place you could access the wifi was by sitting in the lobby where you check in. I was told it was currently not working anywhere else. The room itself also had a slight mouldy smell to it.

Review 52：The location of this property was excellent! Right on the beach, and only a short walk to the beautiful northern beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops also within easy walking distance. The room itself was basic, clean and comfortable.

Overall our sense was that the new management is working to put things right, but they have a way to go. WIFI was advertised as available in all rooms, but it only worked in the lobby and restaurant/bar.
