Hotel Almenum - het sfeervolle stadslogement - sells fast on our site. Stadslogement ‘Almenum’ is in a renovated, 17th century storehouse and 4 labor houses. There is a romantic courtyard where you can recover from a busy day.

Review 1：Being from South Afrika , working in this area , I find the people friendly and always helpfull. The rooms are very good , quiet and you get a good nights sleep.

Review 2：The location is excellent, staff helpful and friendly. The accommodation suited our requirements, was comfortable and clean and it added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Review 8：This property was in an excellent location of Harlingen, close to all amenities, especially a good bakery. The apt I stayed was in a converted warehouse and it was a bit dark. The hostess provided information about the town that was helpful in getting oriented.

Review 27：The room was advertised as having a microwave but there wasn't one and there were no other cooking facilities. When we complained to booking.com - who telephoned the owner - a microwave was quickly delivered to the room. There was no comfortable seating in the living room. Parking is inconvenient. There is a small, public parking area immediately outside the hotel - where you have to buy a ticket - but it was full when we arrived.

Review 28：Harlingen is an attractive town and the hotel is a short walk from the centre. The hotel was reasonably clean with good wi-fi.

Review 29：Very old! Not only old fashion but old as such. Horrible old carpet onthe floor. We were 3 and we had a tiny little gel douche for the 3 for 2nights. No cleaning after the 1st night...actually I don't know ifany cleaning at all as we found on the floor a pair of underwear whichbelong to someone else! Very expensive for the quality. Bad value formoney...actually is more the other way around!!

Review 36：I love Hotel Allmeneum, it's a great place. Fabulous location in the middle of a gem of a Frisian coastal town, and a great restoration of houses in this town centre. I haven't stayed there for many years and since last time they also had some seriously high speed broadband installed, something that was most useful for my writing/photography during the stay.

Review 37：Excellently refurbished apartments in an old factory. We had a self-catering cottage, which was a lovely break from hotels on the rest of our trip. Harlingen is a beautiful old small port, full of atmosphere. It was -5 when we stayed, but the cottage was beautifully warm, and everything functioned very well. We cooked our own breakfast so can't comment on the hotel's.

Review 42：Very nice location in an old an authentic corner of the city, very close to the city center. The appartment was very nice and complete, plenty of room. Spacious bathroom, very good boxspring beds. The breakfast service was excellent, choice of bread served at the table, coffee, tea, mild, juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and choice of sandwich filling. The staff was more than kind.

Review 43：The reason for choosing this accommodation was the wifi-acces and the fact that the description said that all rooms had a bath tub. On arrival we got room no. 6, adapted for wheelchairs, WITHOUT a bath. In the evening we found out that there was no internet acces. The next day the owner tried to fix it, but couldn't. The last day of our stay he had an ict-technician in and in the evening we had wifi acces. In the bedroom of room no. 6 we woke up several times from the noise that the cooler from the drinksmachine outside in the little hall makes. Also the steel stairs outside, leading to the rooms upstairs can be very noisy, especially when already asleep when other guests return.
