Reviews for Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Omoromachi
Review 1:Baby bed was provided for free as I already reserved in advanced. The size was good for my 2 year old child. The room is big enough having the extra baby bed inside. Overall it is a nice hotel!
Review 2:Baby cot is damaged and a bit dangerous. Dust on the cabinet near the headboard of beds. Too expensive.
Review 3:Location is very good. Bathroom is clean, and can open the window with nice view(12F). Staffs are helpful. Dripped coffee is very good.
Review 4:Welcome gift for kids. The room is very clean. Great location with shopping malls around and within walking distance. Enjoy breakfast and wonderful city view of Naha at 18th floor of the hotel. 10 minutes drive to international street.
Review 5:I don't like the smell from the room at all, even after I open the window and air filter, it feel terrible when you first walk into the room
Review 6:Best location for shopping, staffs are nice and helpful
Review 7:The room was not as clean as i would like but i come from a very clean household. The breakfast was also not very good, and a little overpriced.
Review 8:The hotel personel were very friendly and spoke a lot of english. My room had an incredible view and the hotel location was conveniently located near the train station.
Review 9:The early morning/night staff had no idea how to do basic hotel tasks. Going to work early and attempting to drop off laundry before the day staff came in was a major problem. Checking out early in the morning and asking for an itemized bill was like asking if they could get me in to see the Emperor of Japan.
Review 10:Rooms were excellent. Food was great Japanese style and very healthy. Surprisingly, the dinner at the restaurant on premise was outstanding.
Review 11:We booked the big bed and the small one due we have one child. For small bed it was not flat which one side high and one side low, not comfortable for sleeping.
Review 12:The address is very convenient. Room is clean. And the front door staff is very warmth, and can be communicated by English.
Review 13:Some receptionists was not so smart. For instance, when asking for a taxi as it was raining, she suggested to walk as the taxi hot line was full, just after the first call try. Same receptionist had a similar attitude later when asking for booking two seats in a given restaurant we were going to go. Anyway, the other recepionists were much kinder and smarter.
Review 14:Breakfast with long view from the last floor is amazing. A perfect way to wake up.
Review 15:Hotel lobby is in 9th floor. Hope to get notice while booking room.
Review 16:Location and night view in the room is quite good. Room is clean and modern. Business style hotel.
Review 17:Very minor point, but a little confusing with the lobby on the 9th floor, but in no way detracted from our stay. A bit out the way for exploring the main drag of Kokusai-dōri on foot, but close to Omoromachi Station on the Yui Rail monorail.
Review 18:Booked very last minute (on arrival at Naha Port) with no problem. Excellent breakfast and lunch buffet on top floor of building. Ideally placed for the Okinawa Prefectural and Art Museum and the Daiso Sanenaha Main Place shopping mall.
Review 19:The staff there to help us check in has poor English. But he pretended he understand and didn't ask other staffs to help. He didn't give us useful information like the car park usage, not even giving us the breakfast tickets! He just direct us to pay at the machine (with hand sign) and not telling us when we can go up to our rooms. Wasting us time to figure it by ourself going up and down in the hotel lobby, restaurant and car park! The first time to meet a staff like that in my experience of staying in over 20 hotels in Japan!
Review 20:The view from the lobby
Review 21:This hotel is located in heart of the city so we had a bit of traffic jam to reach hotel
Review 22:* very convenient location - city central, 5 min walking from the monorail station * kind staff - most staff are speaking english * clean room * breakfast - 1200 yen per person. good value on price DFS Galleria department store which rental car companies gathered in is located just cross the street. We stayed in this hotel for one night and picked up our rent car next day. it was very convenient.
Review 23:The additional bed for the 3rd person is a bit small and hard. But acceptable.
Review 24:The main entrance is at the right side of the building and lobby is on ninth floor. Room is small but cozy and comfortable enough for a family traveling. Lawson supermarket is on 1st which is very convenient. This hotel is 7 mins walking distances from YUI station, which is one of the best advantage of it. Will come again next time.
Review 25:Everything was great!
Review 26:The staff was polite and friendly. The room is clean. The most I liked about this hotel is breakfast buffet. There are so many varieties of choices and they serve typical local foods from Okinawa. The breakfast restaurant was at 18th floor with great view.
Review 27:Helpful staff for our first couple of nights in Japan. Good recommendation for local dinner restaurant and getting local transport to shopping street.
Review 28:There was a strange smell in the room, seems like coming from the bathroom. The pillow can be softer.
Review 29:Great facilities, and staffs are nice. Location is good, near to the station and DFS, but not as good as the hotel we used to stay.
Review 30:There was a strange smell in the room, seems like coming from the bathroom.
Review 31:not many places to eat, requested for a non smoking room but got a smoking room
Review 32:Location, walking distance to a shopping center, in front of the shopping center you can catch a bus to the aquarium
Review 33:The entrance to the hotel is on the 'quiet' side of the building. While the hotel is just across the road from some big shopping malls, like the Galleria, it is quite a few minutes walk from the nearest road crossing facilities and it was a major road to cross!
Review 34:The breakfast was not bad. Though not a wide variety, there was enough to choose from. The staffs were polite. A convenience store is just on the ground floor. So it was easy to get supplies round the clock.
Review 35:we have stayed for 3 days. The breakfast which we had was similar. i want to have some new food(bread).
Review 36:The hotel which we have stayed is located near international street so was convenient.
Review 37:Advance payment is quite unusual. And unpersonal Treatment like being forced to use a payment Automat is Even more unusual. And somehow stupid When this is Told by the receptionist whoHands out the keys.
Review 38:The choices of the breakfast are not many and there is strange smell in the bathroom.
Review 39:Not far away from the omoromachi station and there is a convenience shop-lawson under the building. Fashion building and the view from the lobby on the 9th floor is excellent.
Review 40:The room was very clean, the food at breakfast and lunch was great and the staff were very helpful. The staff's recommendations for places to visit and places to dine were fantastic.
Review 41:It took sometime to find out the entrance and lobby.
Review 42:The size of the room is big in the standard of Japan. The staffs in front desk were very nice and helpful.
Review 43:Need better signs on ground floor to indicate that Lobby is on 9F via elevators.
Review 44:close to monorail station, well located for Shurijo castle, Kokusai Dori shopping street, excellent wifi in room, good breakfast buffet choice, nice city/harbour view from diningroom on 18F, lots of department stores, shops and restaurants closeby.
Review 45:The payment method is quite weird. You have to pay through a teller machine by yourself once you checked in. No dishwares could be provided for guest rooms... not convenient for buying food and dining in your own room...
Review 46:Very near to the Main Place with lots of shop and a late-closing supermarket. A 24-hr Lawson downstairs. Very conveniently located! The buffet breakfast is okay, with suffient variety (but seating places are rather limited, get there a bit earlier for comfortable seats). Frontdesk staff are friendly, helpful and informative. Would recommend this place.
Review 47:None
Review 48:Exceeds expectation and worth the money spent - good location and just 5 mins walk from the mono rail station and nice neighbour. Hotel is quite new and in room facilities is new too. Room size is big in Japanese standard. As I went to the aquarium on my 2nd day, the bus stop for the express bus is just opposite to the hotel, very convenient!
Review 49:-No wifi inside the room -Need parking fees -Pillow is hard
Review 50:I was staying at the sew view double bed room at South Wing. Room is big, clean, comfort with balcony. (South wing is more new than North Wing). Easy access beach which is just in front of the hotel and a big indoor pool on 1/F. There are 5 resturants inside the hotel and provide different cuisine that I could use my dinner coupon. During night time, you can enjoy traditional okinawa dance and music show for free. Staffs were friendly and excellent. There were many Japanes American staffs served at the front desk. Quick check-in and provided travel informations indetails. Car park is opposite to the hotel and need to pay ¥500 for a day.
Review 51:Parking system is a big failure though. Hotel's parking allows only ONE CAR at a time so if you go at a bad timing, you might have to wait in the line along with the other cars just to have it parked in the elevating parking facility.
Review 52:The cleanliness of the room was superb. Room size was just right for two to stay and the view from our room was nice during the sunrise. Me and my mum liked the amenities provided (hairpins, cotton pads, bath powders, we especially liked the complimentary drip coffee bags) and the pajama gowns.
Review 53:Breakfast buffet under-staffed. Tables not cleared quickly enough which caused a long line of people waiting to get in.
Review 54:location. Convenient store on the 1st floor. Nice view. Exceptionally new / clean. Bed sheets / pillow cases felt super clean. Good breakfast
Review 55:There is no direct crossing to the monorail station, you have to walk around to reach it. This hotel is far from nightlife area.
Review 56:The location is good for shoppers There is an island bus tour that starts directly from opposite the hotel which was good. There are many malls and shops around the afea.
Review 57:Had no gym, no pool and breakfast wasn't all that great.
Review 58:Great location, cleanliness, quiet, staff was helpful and the dinner at their restaurant was really good.
Review 59:some travelers from other country are noisy and dirty....they put their garbage on the hallway....
Review 60:it's very convenient for wifi and breakfast and room all good!
Review 61:No obvious nearby place to have breakfast, but a very minor quibble.
Review 62:I don't know whether we got a special deal, but hotel seemed very good value. It's well within walking distance from main areas. Parked our hire car in car park below for ¥1000 a day.
Review 63:View of restaurant is incredible. Staffs are friendly. Convenience store on ground floor is useful. Only five minutes' walking to duty free shop and the monorail station.
Review 64:A little more of european breakfast would have been nice, breakfast overall wasd adequate.
Review 65:a little bit out of the centre of town, but easy to get anywhere on the mono rail. Staff very helpful and friendly
Review 66:We booked two rooms, both are smelly with unclean washroom smell. Planned to stay two nights, at the end we left next day and booked another hotel and gave up one paid night (two rooms).
Review 67:Wifi speed is good
Review 68:no
Review 69:Very good location and there are many shopping malls around the hotel. Staff are very nice and the facilities very new even the payment is automatically by the machine, very interesting.
Review 70:One of the best hotels in our whole stay in Japan. We stayed for 36 days and could not recommend a better hotel for your trip to Naha than this one. The bedroom is very spacious and the staff the nicest. They can also get you a discount for the parking, it's only for one night parking but that was all that we needed. The hotel is close to some shopping malls, including the fancy DFS, restaurants and to the monorail. They can also provide you some nice tips on where to have dinner or visit. And there is also a Lawson just downstairs which is 24h/7
