Review 1：Great location, even better staff, food was above average for an AL resort. Great gluten free options, the chef worked with my wife and she enjoyed all her meals.

Review 2：Location to downtown, the beach and how clean everything was at the resort. Food allergies were no problem. The chef and his staff always asked if there were any problems or if we needed anything made different. Food was very good. All the staff was top notch.

Review 6：When it's raining you don't have a lot of things to do - the hotel facilities are outside without any roof top . The lobby is currently under construction so it is temporarily in a small and unwelcome room

Review 7：The hospitality of the staff, the location of the place. we took a deluxe room with city view, the problem was that the city view was in from of the avenue so we had a lot of noise! we asked the desk rep. to replace our room and they she took care of it the day after. You have live music shows in the night in the beach restaurant. Great room service and we also got champaign! We took the photo shooting possibility and we had a great experience with the photographer and a great photos!

Review 8：We had ants in our room. We advised the stuff and they immediately send someone it didnt solve the problem but they came very fast. The staff was very friendly and nice but very slow in all the restaurants We were on our honeymoon, they located us in a room facing a graveyard and construction site which was not nice. We expected the hotel to put us in a nicer room.

Review 11：The hotel location is the best, and there are really nice beach close to it with great facilities for hotel guests, and the beach bar is also great - especially if you take the "all inclusive" deal so you can order whatever you want without extra pay. The room was very big, and although we had a little problem (leak from the ceiling), the hotel staff handle it quickly.

Review 18：!dont stay here! just waste of moneypayed a lot to stay here in all inclusive plan . from the moment we arrived it was hugedissapointment .1. we preorded 2 month before asking no to have school or cemetery view cause we, in our honeymoon arrived and got - SCHOOL- and nothing for our honeymoon,went to reception and complain and the manager keep promicing she will get back to as finally when she did it was late in evening and she sayed there no place aviable for the night .we stayed there with not by choice to be waken up in 7:30 am to a morning ceremony in the school , with speakes and all.2. the new room we got was musty , the juccusi in the balcony was filty and moldy!!and we couldnt sleep all night as the bed was so itchy i dont know what it was but it didnt helped even when we told them tochange all the bed sheets and blankets3. worst all inclusive ever!! the food was not good and was served in miserliness!everything you want you need to sigh a bill , even water! when you sit in the resturant and order more then 1 dish per person the waiter tell you brutally its too much food!4. all the staff is so rude and not helpful, ignoring you at the beach, acting like they doing you a favor to serve you.one night they even tried to not let us sit in the resturant saying its full and they are closing when there were places avaiable and it was only 21:10 ( the resturant close at 22:00!(when we finally sit the waiter was pushing us to order cause they want to close the kitchen.5. promised to have the ability to stay late after check out cause we had long flight home that night . when we checked out they cut your wrist band and kick you out , we didnt got to have lunch even! had to find somthing outside , after all we sufferd in this hotel!!in summery:waste of your money you can find better for the price , not 5 star hotel , been to 3 stars hotel that had better service! disgusting !!foodi dont have even one good word about this place

Review 26：The general feeling is that the hotel try to save money although we've been in all inclusive sometimes I asked for beer in a bottle and the waitre said they don't have anymore and people who came and paid at the bar got beers from a bottll so instead of getting the feeling that you are the most important client you get the feeling that you are the last one. service at the pool is the worst service we have ever came across with in Mexico!!1 !!The alcohol is really really bad all the cocktails have a taste of a concentrated juice!! there is no fresh fruits end we are in Mexico... 1 We came in the end of September and the lobby where renovated and the enteranc was through a back door to a back small room we think that they should have said anything about it in the website

Review 30：Complete failure - despite chaser emails - to correspond with us by email ahead of our arrival. This led to a total mess up with our transfers to the hotel from Merida airport. On arrival at the hotel, sullen staff at reception desk demanded sight of emails before we could check in. 'Service' at the pool bar was dreadful - slow and grudging. In the room, the bed sheets were dirty and old. Towels were frayed. I simply cannot recommend this place.

The shower floor of our second room wasn't inclined, so water didn't go away and that created a lot of humidity. After complaining three times thay upgraded our room. Review 51：- Lack of lighting in the living room! There are downlights in the hallway and the kitchen, but none in the living room. - The lights in balcony is controlled and are on timer. It goes off at 11pm but we have an early start the following day and wanted to sleep early. However, we couldn't switch ithe balcony lights off and the lights were annoying as it shines into the bedroom. - The bedroom pillows were lumpy - The floors in the room wasn't clean so we had to wear our shoes in our room. - We had to wear a band while staying in the hotel. In theory this is fine if the band can be easily removed when requires (eg sleeping, showering, etc), however the band is extremely hard to open and breaks once it is detached.

Review 53：:No wifi at all! the hotel stuff said to us: because we are not charged for the wifi we" can't guarantee that the wifi will work". one guest told us that he stayed in this hotel a year ago and there was no wifi also! if we knew that there is no wifi we wouldn't reserve this hotel. they are lying by saying they have wifi and they just do nothing to fix this problem! The air conditioner have a strong mold smell The hotel's Thai restaurant had no place for reservation although the restaurant was empty all the time!

After paying we were told to pack our bags and bring to the reception before 12pm. We did and only then were told that we would have to wait untill 3pm!!!so we were left without a room (which we paid) for 3 hours. We complained but the answer was a simple: you have to wait. Unacceptable! Also this is not a 5 star hotel. Facilities are not that great. Private pool is not very private.

This allowed us to see parts of the island that offered meals and a swim off of the main area. the shopping was minutes away and the entertainment was fabulous in the evenings. the beach is fantastic

Review 97：This was our third year in a row at Isla Mujeres. All three years we have stayed at Privilege Aluxes (last year we got married there.) All staff that we have encountered have always been very friendly and the front desk staff are always willing to help you if needed. The food is excellent. We really enjoy Cafe Del Mar, both for the food and atmosphere. Satay is a must to try and the buffet restaurant Sabor has a different theme every night (love the omelet bar in the morning!) If you're looking for a hassle free experience with a clean and modern hotel Privilege Aluxes is for you!

We recieved a call at 2AM which woke us up! they did not stop calling! they said our door is open and we should close it and it was closed! 7. Most important: There was a storm on our last night and the whole room was flooded!!!! the windows leaked! all our suitcases got wet! we wrote a letter to the hotel manager (the night manager suggested to write it in handwriting) and 2 weeks after- still waiting for a reply! Worst hotel in Mexico!

Review 102：Administration of the visit via booking.com and subsequent poor response to our concerns by hotel management. 1) we were a group of 3 who were told on booking.com that the only way 3 people could be accommodated was in 2 rooms. However when we arrived we were told that the suites we were in could fit a third person on an extra bed. However we would be no refund on the second room if we changed to just one room. So this was not the best deal we could have received 2) we were not offered all inclusive as an option when booking however every other guest had this 3) WiFi weak and only available in certAin areas. This is very inconvenient and not typical of a true "5 star" hotel

Review 111：The staff- was terrible. The guy who received us was arrogant and did not even smile. I got a small room with a view of the street and when I told the clerk that I wanted to change the room she said to me: " be graetfull you did not get a view to the cemetery" Who says that when the hotel is half empty??? And she could easily upgrade me. The bartender at the pool shouting at people to pay a bill and makes them uncomfortable. All inclusive- the mini bar was empty, not even water. just the next day , they remember to filled it up. Small pool, small rooms. over all feeling- reaped off! I have been to all inclusive hotels in Mexico and it's just one of the worst and I paid a lot more than previous ones.

Review 113：We absolutely loved Isla Mujeres (so much so we are thinking of buying aholiday home there in the future).This hotel was in the perfect location. We didn't do ALL INCLUSIVE for this stay, but we don't regret that as we found some great places to eat which we're much nicer than the hotel restaurants. Staff were great...our only regret is that we didn't upgrade to one of the premier suites which looked amazing and didn't cost much at all...but after spending 4.5 weeks on our honeymoon, we had blown the budget staying at other 5-star resorts. Definitely recommend FENIX which is a bar/club owned by our friend Robbie...it's the premier club on Isla Mujeres.

Review 115：we travelled as a couple on ahoneymoon, and indeed were greeted with a bottle of wine and some fruit with chocolate, which was very nice and welcoming treat we stayed at the suite, first level, room 401. at first, the reception team that checked us in was not so nice to us, however things got better at the following days in that matter the hotel amenities are really great - the suite is very big and nice, the shower and living room and the bed are all fantastic the hotel's swimming pool, spa, bar, all all beautiful and of high class the breakfast is very nice, the hotels beach is nice though there is a better beach close by, the one of the hotel ixchel the hotel has also a thai restaurant, which is not cheap, but with nice serving, food, and service. all put together - take the suite - ask for high floor - breakfast included - and youll do just fine
