Review 1：Maybe you really need to be on the top top top floor to have a view, but the hotel does not really offer an amazing view. Except this nothing else!

Review 2：The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The personnel is very polite and helpful. Geographically it is located 3 min walk from Darling harbour and close to restaurants, supermarket and other shops. Really like the modern side of the hotel!

Review 3：I HAD A LIMIT ON MY BANK CARD & THE LADY SAID THERE IS AN ATM OUTSIDE SO I HAD TO CALL MY BANK, I HAD WANTED TO PAY CASH, SO SPEAKING WITH MY BANK IT TOOK 1/2HR FOR THIS TO BE PROCESSED. THE CONCIERGE TOLD ME THE ROOM WASNT READY YOUNG BLONDE BOB HAIR CUT YOUNG LADY, ALSO PROMISED A TEXT WILL BE SENT SO MY HUSBAND & I SET OFF WITH A WALK TO DARLING HARBOUR SHOPPING CENTRE WE RETURNED AFTER ALMOST 3HRS WE RECEIVED FREE WIFI FOR THIS ISSUE BUT THEN AGAIN BEING STEREO TYPED LIKE WE CANT AFFORD TO STAY AT THIS 5 STAR VENUE THIS HAS BEEN OUR SECOND STAY AT THE STAR. LASTLY THERE COMES OUR CAR THE VALLET HAD COLLECTED OUR CAR WINDED ALL THE WINDOWS DOWN BLASTING THE RADIO LIKE HE OWNED THE CAR THAT WAS DISRESPECTFUL ALSO OUR WINDOW HAD GOT JAMMED THIS WASNT EXPECTED DUE TO VALLET BEING AN OLD MALE HE WAS THE ELDEST VALLET THERE!!

Review 13：The staff at The Darling went above and beyond to accommodate my cousin and her new husband on their wedding night. (This room was a gift for their engagement.) The staff organised late check out, upgraded their room, and put a really lovely card with rose petals on their bed! It was a gorgeous suite too!

Review 14：This was the best stay we have ever had. Stunning hotel, beautiful staff, and very well looked after. Stayed for my partners birthday and were given an upgrade on arrival which just made our weekend! 10 out of 10!

Review 23：We booked a suite which was perfectly appointed, large, clean, comfortable and luxurious. At first we were on the 8th floor which wasn't high enough to get the best views. After phoning reception to see if there was a room with better views, they immediately upgraded us to a spa suite on the 12th floor no extra cost. The staff were superb.

Review 24：We hadn't booked the honeymoon suite as it was pricier, but when the concierge knew we were married that night (upon our check in) he sent a complimentary champagne and strawberries to our room. (very thoughtful) The pool area was a terrific space to unwind and relax with some drinks and food.

Review 27：My family and I travelled to Sydney for our daughters graduation. On arrival we were given the option to upgrade our two king rooms to the Penthouse Suite at no extra cost and our Jewel Suite to a larger Amore Suite. The standard of accommodation and service we received were outstanding, we could not fault anything, we will be back.

Review 28：The view from my room wasn't appealing. In the room: at night the blue lights and red light above the bed and in the bathroom. The one above the bed was annoying. I couldn't get the curtains to close half way, it was all or totally open.

Review 98：I loved the darling so much! All the little touches!! Can't wait to stay here again. Loved the access to the casino restaurant and retail area but also loved feeling very separate from the casino. Fantastic friendly staff and very clean room, pool, hot tub :)

Review 99：Due to my upgrade my early check in was, whilst still promised, unavailable. I would have preferred to have the suite I had originally booked with no upgrade so that I could have checked in early as requested. (Also, because it was the room I preferred and that was why I booked it.) It was a long wait, and in the end they texted the wrong number to let me know when the room was ready. Also I had some food arranged and it only arrived three hours late after multiple follow up calls. These things were frustrating and made my stay a little stressful.

Review 105：One pet peeve, but a very important one. The housekeeping staff repeatedly left the second shower head nozzle on in a backwards position. When turning the shower on it sprayed the entire room and created an unsafe situation in the entire entryway to the shower. My wife nearly killed herself twice by slipping on the marble floor. I'd say their neglect of this simple safety precaution was comical if it weren't SO dangerous!
