Reviews for Naha Beach Side Hotel

Review 1:The location is extremely bad - you have to rent a car if you expect to go anywhere. It is within walking distance (5 minutes) of the red light district...plenty of "soap clubs" if anyone is interested...

Review 2:Room was very clean, the view of the sea was nice and there was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Review 3:The breakfast buffet wasn't that great, as there wasn't much of a choice, however, the quality of food was good.

Review 4:We took a smoking room with a beach view, although we were non-smokers and we were happy with the choice. The location is good, quite close to the port, in case you want to visit other islands, as well.

Review 5:Very very thick dust at the ventilation filter of the room air conditioner. It was not cool until I cleaned it myself in the bath tub.

Review 6:quiet, tidy, good reception service, parking but charge

Review 7:stuff could be a little be more happier, and the parking should be free as most of the hotels they do

Review 8:fairly good place the view from our room was great

Review 9:Quite far from the city center and bus terminal

Review 10:Hotel is located close to airport (1000 JPY by TAXI) and also close to the city beach. There is a view to the sea. Staff was very kind and one girl on the reception has a fluent English (not common in Japan)

Review 11:A bit of a far walk from metro system , especially if you not there for the beach area or golf !

Review 12:The fact the hotel staff gave a bit of lee way in checking in early. Japan is not easy to negotiate lee way as their culture is very to the point.Example at Vanilla Air at Tokyo , the checking agent would not allow my bag as hand luggage a sit was a centremetre or 2 too thick.I sat onmy bag squashing it temporarily and she accepted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review 13:room small but that japanese room style..

Review 14:friendly staffs complete facilities beautiful and breathtaking views love riding bicycle around the hotel

Review 15:Most of the attraction site are far from the hotel. Have to walk about 30 mins to get public transportation.

Review 16:Sunset view from the hotel balcony, plan landing, snorkeling site across the hotel is great

Review 17:Staff speaks only limited English. Note that cheapest rooms are indeed very small.

Review 18:Clean, conveniently located, w/free WiFi and parking. Very flexible and helpful: agreed for late changes in our booking and earlier check-in free of charge; also kept our luggage AFTER our stay for 3 days for free!

Review 19:No problems.

Review 20:Room was large and comfortable (triple room with sea view). The breakfast was surprisingly good (the dishes suitable for vegans included: rice, Okinawan tofu, fruit, cooked broccoli, salad and Okinawan soba (without broth)). A great place to stay in between arriving from the airport and going to the ferry port.

Review 21:Very small single rooms. Hardly space to open suitcase - not to talk about working with a laptop. No cafe or lobby bar in the hotel. Only coin automats for drinks, with no (hot) coffee available. The nearest cafe (subway) is 5-10 minutes walk away.

Review 22:Sea view. Fair pricing.

Review 23:I did not had view to the sea from my room.

Review 24:Everything was perfect. Maybe is a little far from the center of the city but It was all the traveler need. Is so close to the airport if you need to rest before catching a flight is so convenient.

Review 25:Smoking room was bit too much for non smoker. But it's my choice to choose that. Other than that was great

Review 26:The staff, the breakfast, the view ( if you get ocean side) , the room (non smoking room is wonderful but smoking room is really for smokers)

Review 27:The name is a bit of a con: the 'beach' it's next to isn't much of a beach at all (and swimming isn't allowed, at least in winter). Also, to get from the hotel directly to town one needs to pass through the red light district, so solo male travellers are continually accosted by dodgey doorman for the 'soaplands', even when just cycling past. It's still a great place to stay for the price.

Review 28:Staff were friendly and helpful, and (like all hotels in Japan) rooms were immaculately clean and functional. I'd say they were also slightly larger than most in this price range. The bikes available for hire were very useful for getting around. Just beware that the battery on the electric one is quite small, so don't try to ride it too far, but they're a great way to get around the city and a very nice service offered by the hotel.

Review 29:The hotel is a little off side and no local buses available, though taxis are always waiting outside

Review 30:Well furnished rooms Driving range next to hotel, golf clubs lent out free of charge Cheap bicycle rental Excellent view

Review 31:In addition to the courteous staff, excellent free breakfast & clean room we got fresh pajamas daily!! WOW!! Also close to the airport without the noise with a nice ocean view & excellent Wi-fi service!

Review 32:Since I was primarily using the monorail to travel around Naha, thehotel was inconvenient to get to.

Review 33:The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful from my check-in to my check-out. The breakfast buffet was good, with a nice selection of both Western and Japanese foods.

Review 34:not good wifi connection.

Review 35:Enjoy good sea view and free bicycle ride. A bit far from Town center but 8 minutes taxi away. Have small shop at reception.

Review 36:we had stayed at the same hotel last year as a couple and it was ok; I think we got a bigger double room this time, with our infant child, but still we felt extremely small; that bed was no double bed check out at 10 sharp; we needed a bit of extra time to tend to our baby; it was $11/hour we were told by the reception the breakfast is the same every day, and every year; last year we stayed there 4 days and could not believe that every morning the breakfast, made of just a few choices, was EXACTLY the same; and it was the same this year; they should hire a new cook this year we paid more and got the seaside view, but could not enjoy it much or keep the window open because of the big highway passing right between the hotel and the sea; the city-side is much more quiet using the aircon in such as small room was a pain, as it blows the cold air right in your face, regardless on how you lie down; our baby got a bad cold because of that. staff poor in English, not that nice hotel is far from the city attractions, basically can go nowhere without a car or taxi barely any restaurant within walking distance

Review 37:taxi from the airport is about $10, i.e., the place is quite close to the airport, and convenient for that. price is fair

Review 38:The air conditioner was all in Japanese this made it difficult to operate, and when it did work it wasn't strong enough to reach the other side of the room or cold enough. The fridge was set to a warm setting and I couldn't figure out how to adjust it. There was no explanation as to how the lights work so I had to go and ask reception, later found out that you had to put the card key in this slot in the room. Only one member of staff understood basic English and I had to get a online translater to ask how to make a international call.

Review 39:The bed was comfy and the room was very good considering the price. Nice hotel near beach.

Review 40:The hotel is very closed to the beach. It takes only 5 minutes from the hotel and also the hotel has locker outside of hotel so you may keep your water suit and equipments there with fast dried. The room is not so big but much clean and comfortable. Japaness breakfast was also so good.

Review 41:Free wifi, free parking. Near Downtown, near airport, in front of seaside. Balcony in all rooms and friendly staff, eventhough they don't speak too much english (like most people in the island)

Review 42:It's not exactly convienient to get to places without paying for a taxi. Nothing is quite in walking distance unless you don't mind walking 20-30 mins to find a decent restaurant.

Review 43:I loved how close it was to a small and quiet beach. I recommend paying a little extra to get a room with an ocean view.

Review 44:Staffs are very accomodating

Review 45:The rest was only sad.

Review 46:Very nice cleaning and friendly Staff.

Review 47:It is good place for Lessure time . Very good place . I like that place .

Review 48:The rooms are well kept but a bit worn.

Review 49:Close access to the airport.

Review 50:The bed was very hard!!

Review 51:Very good location!

Review 52:Nice staff, helping us booking dinner restaurant. Good breakfast.

Review 53:Very close to the airport.

Review 54:Breakfast was minimal.

Review 55:Triple room is spacious, good seaside view, close to the airport.

Review 56:This is good if you have a car. the.view is great but it is too far away from Railway.

Review 57:Smell of the corridor, and I expected more fruits on the breakfeast.

Review 58:Location, confortable bed, good pillows, the balcony, the view, nice staff.

Review 59:You need a car

Review 60:Reasonable price, clean and modern room

Review 61:Carpark wasn't free Room is a bit small

Review 62:The bed was comfortable Reasonable hotel pricing per night for City

Review 63:An ocean view room was very nice and comfortable and the hotel is located relatively close to the city centre.

Review 64:Small room, too far away to the shopping area

Review 65:Clean, quiet, sea view, fair pricing

Review 66:small room

Review 67:good price

Review 68:I wish there were more places to shop around

Review 69:Staff were excellent!

Review 70:Bed was a bit hard.

Review 71:Near airport and very clean. Good price too

Review 72:They should get more are newer bicycles for rental

Review 73:Bed is ok

Review 74:Great location

Review 75:The room is a little small

Review 76:Cheap

Review 77:the smell from the petrol from the harbour permeated the room, including bed and bed clothes.

Review 78:location was convenient

Review 79:quite far from middle of the city

Review 80:Near the sea

Review 81:The facilities and sea view are great

Review 82:When u driving in Okinawa , this place is good, 5-15 mins drive around major place in Naha

Review 83:none if no car ,need walk

Review 84:sea view family room car parking staff wieght measure for Peach airline

Review 85:Proximity of red light area

Review 86:Balcony view and good local eateries

Review 87:Nobody can speak English

Review 88:Neat Clean Good value for money All basic facilities provided

Review 89:Noisy party near the hotel until midnight

Review 90:Helpful and friendly staff

Review 91:There is no shuttle bus to airport.

Review 92:It's too far to the station. Should be drive or take taxi to there

Review 93:There were no restaurants or cafe's on the premisses or nearby.

Review 94:Quiet area.

Review 95:Little far from all the major activity zone

Review 96:Location price

Review 97:Location is a bit far off. Room small.

Review 98:Value for money.

Review 99:Inexpensive, clean, cool and near to airport

Review 100:- Parking cost. - breakfast not included. - breakfast menu is very limited option for vegetarian

Review 101:Staff were polite.

Review 102:The bed seems too small

Review 103:the convenience of the location, the view around the hotel

Review 104:No ice machine/Ice bucket in room

Review 105:Close to airport and downtown shopping areas

Review 106:It's a little bit far from the Metro.

Review 107:The price is cheap and the staff are nice.

Review 108:Small rooms and breakfast was the same everyday. English menu for breakfast would be great.

Review 109:Staff were helpful. Had issues paying with my Visa and was informed to rest for the day and find an ATM the next day. Kudooos to the staffs.

Review 110:The beaches near the hotel are quite poor and to see decent beaches requires taking an hour long bus; the same is true for every naha hotel though.

Review 111:The hotel was very easily accessible from the airport (a 1000Y/10USD) taxi ride. Kokusai dori (international avenue) is a 15 minute walk from the hotel and a driving range is located just next door

Review 112:Fridge was weak. Front desk staff was not exceptionally helpful, even when conversing with a Japanese speaker. Lack of flexibility to schedule a free shuttle to the airport in time to catch a 9 am flight. (Not fatal as a taxi was only $10)

Review 113:Very clean. Pretty quiet, close to water. Easy to acquire taxi's. Decent free breakfast to start the day (if you like Japanese food). Very nice water view and staff did fill request for a higher level floor to take advantage of the view.

Review 114:Didn't realise the beach view would be a beach view including a main road...but every thing else was good

Review 115:Hotel was very close to the airport! The staff were very friendly and honest. The breakfast was very good for a budget hotel and the hotel room had every thing we needed! Enjoyed our stay!

Review 116:If you have to commute to airport, the location is pretty good, but if you want to be in Naha town monorail is quite far. Also, the point of this hotel is shuttle bus between hotel and airport. When we book this hotel, there was a notification about free pick-up service. But actually it was off.

Review 117:Compare to cost, this hotel is very clean and nice, and the location is close from airport. We paid taxi 1000yen from airport. You can see the sea from the room but beach around the hotel is not 'real' beach.

Review 118:Room was very small even there was no place to keep luggage.

Review 119:Location was good very near to sea and far from city shops and restaurants but taxi was available all the time.

Review 120:Breakfast wasn't included, was an extra 800 yen for a pretty average breakfast.

Review 121:The location was good for what we needed - Naha airport! We stayed here for one night before taking the free airport shuttle bus the next morning. Great value for money, really clean and cosy room, with an ocean view (if you look past the motorway).

Review 122:the hotel is located far from the center of the city( kokusai street, railway) so if you don't have a rental car you should be ready either to walk for 30 minutes or to pay a taxi (560 yens to go to Naha bus terminal)

Review 123:It's very near from the airport and there is a lovely parc leading to the ocean right in front of the hotel!

Review 124:Although near airport and ports, not great for leisure activities(although always have taxis outside.)

Review 125:Staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly.

Review 126:That the staff forgot to tell me they served breakfast which I only discovered a few minutes after they had closed for the morning.

Review 127:Super clean, super quiet, individual room controls on the air con and heat. It was also very interesting to see the efficient Japanese design for such a small space. The price was great and the location close to the airport was very convenient. The airport shuttle was on time and very efficient. The beach view was ok but not what you would stay in this hotel for. I

Review 128:the room is small for a double room; one can barely turn around in the room and the bathroom (but this is a problem with most Japanese hotels); we stayed there 5 nights, and there was nearly the same breakfast every morning (small buffet); a cook with a bit more imagination would go a long way

Review 129:clean, close to beach

Review 130:It is about 2 km from the closest monorail station.

Review 131:The hotel is very close to Naha airport but no noise from airplanes. All rooms are facing the South China Sea and Naha habour. There is a beach within walking distance. Twin room is quite big. Best of all, there was a massage chair inside. The quality and cost ratio is very high.
