Reviews for Libre Garden Hotel

Review 1:We didn't like the breakfast. And the parking space is not free of charge.

Review 2:The hotel is located very close to the monorail and restaurants are at walking distance. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Review 3:...the décor is the only thing I can come close to criticising. The rooms appear to've been furnished in the 80's and the hallways appear to've been originally designed for a poolhouse. :P

Review 4:The reception staff were exceedingly polite. What floored me, every day, was the room/housekeeping service. Never have I experienced such thoughtful and personal room service. I left the room and bathroom looking like a bomb had gone off with my belongings and toiletries strewn about but they were always returned to a logical place when they needn't have been. On example of how the staff went above and beyond was by moving my toothbrush off of the edge of the bathtub to the depression near the basin. It sounds like nothing but it meant something for me and I wish I'd remembered to complement them on my way out but the check-out process was so fluid I dind't have time to think or talk.

Review 5:The hotel room was a lot bigger than the average Japanese hotel, the room felt like the normal hotel rooms you would get in the US, Canada, Europe. The front desk staff were very helpful and even reserved a taxi to pick me up the next morning whereas other hotels might have just noted I need a taxi, but only ordered one when I arrived in the lobby the next morning.

Review 6:Not enough parking space, no valet parking. We spent a week in Okinawa and this was the only hotel which charged us on parking.

Review 7:Good location - just a few minutes walk to Naha Main Place. Friendly staff.

Review 8:I would like to see a clear manual of the airco in English ... the small paper is not enough info ...

Review 9:The staff is not very good with English, however I was allways able to make me understand, and got help at every moment at day or night. SUPER !!!

Review 10:The room is small but at this price, it's good enough.

Review 11:The location is very good, quite near to the subway station. The room is cozy and clean and the service is very good.

Review 12:The people I talked with at the reception can barely speak English and gave me and my friend WRONG information with the busses several times!!! That was really frustrating, wasting hours of our time. I dont want to be picky, but after travelling all over Japan for 6 weeks their English skills had to be among the worst I encountered at hotel receptions.

Review 13:The location right next to the monoral stop, decent sized room, ok western style breakfast

Review 14:I couldn't choose rice instead of bread for the breakfast. That was a problem for me, because I cannot consume gluten.

Review 15:Good access to the monorail, great location in nice area.

Review 16:Its not worth to pay ¥680 for the breakfast, only 2 selection set. And for our returning, check out early, can not having our breakfast in the hotel. They arranged for our breakfast to take out, good severce… however, it was so poor… everything less then we expected !

Review 17:Room rate is cheap (early bird).

Review 18:The bed was uncomfortable.

Review 19:Easy access with nice view on the 11th floor. Very clean and good breakfast. The Italian restaurant for lunch was also great.

Review 20:Staff is fair, but not kind and completely unhelpful as long as touristic info is concerned. They should improve that issue..

Review 21:The location is perfect: not more than 3 minutes walking from the monorail station, very close to the main museum and to many shops. There is also a great Japanese restaurant very close by (in the direction of the museum). The room is very clean and quite comfortable.

Review 22:The room was little bit cold and dry. But it was Feb, I understood.

Review 23:I loved their kindness. The room was pretty clean. It's really close to the omoromachi station, so it was good for us to take the monorail. Breakfast was little bit expensive, i think, but it tastes nice. You can conversation with them in English, Japanese, well... may be Korean, too. little hard to understand, though.

Review 24:A mono rail station, Okinawa Museum and shopping mall are within walking distance. A centre housing a number of car rental companies is on the opposite side of the street near the mono rail station. Staff can communicate in simple English and are very helpful.

Review 25:Driving to get the hotel during rush hour traffic (on a Sunday??) was a bit annoying. Best to use public transportation such as the monorail. The day pass is cheap if you go on it more than twice a day. I wasn't too impressed with the outdoor hallways. It got really cold and windy and on several occasions, my Do Not Disturb sign got blown off the door handle. The "Garden" aspect of it was a little over rated.

Review 26:The proximity to the monorail was a huge plus. It was a quick check-in and check-out. I stayed for 3 nights. It was comfortable enough but lacked a little more in options. Breakfast was so-so but I purchased a package bundle so it wasn't too bad. You'd have to purchase a meal ticket from the front desk if you wish to dine at the joining (tiny) restaurant for breakfast. The room is a little out-dated, but was comfortable enough.

Review 27:the staff are not willing to help. We checkin in with 6 baggages and the staff just pass us a cart without offering any help including pushing the door for us. All my baggages fell down as I had to hold the door and pushing my cart. When I shown my disappointment to the staff, they just answered that "We dont understand English, sorry." Seems that I dont need to complaint to them anymore.

Review 28:the location is excellent

Review 29:Spotlessly clean, central and with parking in the middle of town. I could do all my business and sneak in a visit to a local event in the park, just for fun.

Review 30:We stay in small double room but one night stay is fine.

Review 31:clean, friendly staff, stable free wifi and nice breakfast (but extra fee required). Overall a good experience.

Review 32:Location close to Omoromachi Yui Rail station. Staff nice and WIFI connection is great. In front of the hotel there is a big park so children can play.

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:Price, room, breakfast, shopping and mono rail location just nearby. The kindness of the girl in charge of morning breakfast. Give me a bag full of ice cubes when asked.

Review 35:The staff was without the friendlies that I very encounter. They went out of their way to make our stay a memorial one. With out a drouth, the hotel is located in a very good location. Every thing was in a walking distance. Easy walking to the monorail, DFS and Naha Main Street Mall.

Review 36:Rooms small and boring. Some rooms stink cigarette smoke. The english of the stuff was very weak.

Review 37:The hotel lobby was pretty beautiful. Good location near shopping center.^ Near to rent a car. Near from the airport with monorail or taxi.

Review 38:breakfast quiet poor and expensive in comparation to the offer, just 1 person speak english in the hotel

Review 39:good hotel for good price free wifi printer in the lobby friendly staff

Review 40:For our family trip (4 adults and 1 child) I booked two twin rooms. The staff was very considerate and replaced one of the twin rooms with a triple to give us more space. The room is clean and well maintained.

Review 41:Extremely small bed:((((

Review 42:Convenient location! DFS within walking distance! Bus station and metro very close to the hotel

Review 45:excellent location

Review 46:the bed is too small, the toilet is a bit dirty

Review 47:nice and clean hotel

Review 48:Has a nice little coffee bar attached on one side and a quaint little Italian restaurant attached on the other!

Review 49:location, value for money

Review 50:Poor sound insulation. I was not able to fall asleep as there was water heater's noise all the night when someone in this hotel was taking bath.

Review 51:Very nice hotel. Beach is just downstair. We enjoyed the sun-shine and beach on daytime nd the fire-cracker at night.

Review 52:Bed is too small

Review 53:Cozy place

Review 54:NOTHING BAD!

Review 55:Staffs are helpful, room is clean and bigger than i thought, hotel is clean and looks good! Wifi is strong! Location good!

Review 82:At the hotel's restaurant, dirty coffee cups are served.

Review 83:Hotel service Location Front staff

Review 84:Limited choice of breakfast.

Review 85:Location : close to monorail.

Review 86:Pillow is not comfortable.. On 11Jan, the breakfast main course fish was made too dry, but in 10Jan was delicious.

Review 92:The hotel is near the mono station and the shopping mall is closed later than others.

Review 93:good location, room is big, and breakfast is good

Review 94:Breakfast needs upgrading.

Review 95:Good location and staff, easy to find, convinient for shopping, parking is fine.

Review 96:location, friendly staffs

Review 97:Very near to the monorail, ¥100 shop and eateries. Really convenient.

Review 98:Lobby and bedrooms have air con but not central atrium

Review 99:Friendly and helpful staff

Review 100:Service is good and kindly .

Review 101:The room is quite small.

Review 102:The service was good, surprised me with a little welcome gift.

Review 103:This hotel is not serving buffet breakfast. There were only two kinds of breakfast to choose from - Japanese or Western style. The food would be made per order but it took a long time for them to get the food ready. The restaurant for breakfast is small and always full during breakfast time. Kids under age 6 are free for the hotel room (if not occupying bed) but at the same time they are not served with breakfast!

Review 104:The rooms are clean. The staff at the front desk is friendly and able to communicate in English. The hotel is located a quiet and peaceful area which is close to the Monorail station and shopping malls.

Review 105:Clean rooms (bit small, but everything is smaller in Japan) and good service (they speak English as long as the conversation is basic English). Some people stated that luggage left behind for the day after check-in is stalled in the lobby. This is partly true. The hotel has a small private locked room for luggage but on busy days they need to put luggage in the lobby when the room is full. Location is also good, 5 minute walk from monorail station and 25 mins with monorail to airport. City center is 10 mins by monorail and a couple buslines run close to the hotel. The hotel is location in a hotel+shopping area.

Review 106:Breakfast is limited to 2 set options only.

Review 107:Excellent location close to mono rail and shopping mall. Nice drinking/eating place right next to the hotel.

Review 108:Really kind/helpful staff (even with our limited Japanese ability), great housekeeping and services, clean facilities, really close to the monorail station and some great restaurants. Check-in and Check-out were extremely easy and the free Wi-Fi was definitely a big bonus. Breakfast is a great value and really handy before heading out for a day on the island. Cheap drugstore across the street and a beer vending machine on the hotel 2F :D

Review 109:The staff were nosy and asked personal questions that weren't any of their business. No sheets on the bed, just a heavy comforter that was too much for the weather.

Review 110:Location is great. Nice room for the price and overall very clean.

Review 111:Customer service are not good in communication with English. A dusty room when check in. But later on is ok after aircon turns on.

Review 112:Good location for renting a car. Very close to ots dfs. Price reasonable. Hotel looks new.

Review 113:The hotel can offer a better wi-fi experience each floor.

Review 114:It's a wonderful hotel at a great location. It's not fancy, but the room is well equipped. The shower/bathroom is big enough for a good soak, too.

Review 115:The room was large compared to other "business" hotels; plenty of space to just lounge around. The location was great too ... big shopping mall across the street, plenty of places to eat just around the corner, and the monorail station just a stone's throw away. The hotel has been in operation 7 years, but the entire hotel was immaculate ... kudos to the cleaning staff!

Review 116:lovely place close to everything that naha has to offer. monorail shopping center, lots of places to eat from supermarket inside the center or one of the good restaurant in the neighborhood. Starbucks is one block away in the shopping mall.
