Finis Africae Country House sells fast on our site. Review 1：Unexpected: the pool area was used for local swimming lessons and other activities that were booked - so there was a lot of (positive) noise from the pool area indicating a lot of activities going on. On the down-side -> due to the activities we never went there for more than a cup of espresso at the pool-bar at the end of the day

Review 2：The access to beach was great. It was easy to book the hotel car to and from the beach. Reception staff was very informative and kind!

Review 3：It just needs a small sign saying 155 Finis Africae, which is easily visible as you drive down the road - preferably illuminated!

Review 4：There was nothing to dislike about this place and the staff were very friendly, helpful & spoke good English. Sadly, being out of season, the restaurant was closed in the evening, but the duty manager took pity on us & got us some food from the kitchen.

Review 12：It took ages to find it, from Google's directions. There's no obvious sign on the country lane where the hotel is situated, just a dirty and illegible flag hanging limply. At last, on entering the car park, we saw a scruffy house-side, and wondered whether it was worth persevering and going inside. A very sad start, and in late March we found that its restaurant was not yet in operation.

Review 13：Once we'd passed through the glass entrance door, it was clear that the interior was very interesting, with antique furniture and historically valuable wall panels which, we were told came from Thailand. We found thereafter that the staff and facilities were excellent. Try not to be put-off by your first impressions on arrival.
