Reviews for Parco San Marco Lifestyle Beach Resort
Review 1:It's very hard to fault this hotel, but if I had to be picky, the bed and pillows were disappointing. Also, the free wi-fi didn't always work in the room, only in the public areas.
Review 2:The view is spectacular. The staff could not have been more friendly and they looked after us and our kids so well. The indoor spa was lovely.
Review 3:Occasionally the seafood was undercooked and not hot enough.
Review 4:Great in every way....fantastic massage...best hot stone massage I have ever had.room excellent, clean and comfortable. Staff so friendly and helpful. Good walking from hotel and spa great place to relax after walks. Would love to go back but take my whole family.
Review 5:Fabulous spacious room with balcony and lake view, luxurious accommodation best I've stayed in. Stayed an extra evening and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend
Review 6:Lots of people smoke, but we don't. I would suggest accommodating smokers away from non smokers, as for 6 days and evenings we were unable to enjoy our balcony because of smoke drifting from the people staying next to us.
Review 7:Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Miriam and Marco were outstanding. Everyone smiled and alway had something friendly to say. Our room, I34 has stunning views over Lake Lugano and mountains.
Review 8:Charging an extra €10 for room service orders . The "king size " bed is actually a joined together 2 twins . Dishes are available for an extra €60 for your kitchen !
Review 9:ALDO , the receptionist, was super nice .
Review 10:Lots of walking needed up steep slopes. Weird electrical plugs - for instance the sockets were european but we had a kettle with a Swiss plug which would not go in any socket near the kitchen area. We ended up using a socket near the TV and balanced the kettle on a suitcase!
Review 11:Food in the restaurants, facilities for kids and adults. Lovely room.
Review 12:Too expensive, too crowded, food average (specially for Italy), air con in a corridor between living room and bedroom so not very efficient. No milk for coffee in the room (not even powder). Sometimes housekeeping arriving at the end of the day (5 pm). Hard to find a parking space (although being charged 10€/day)
Review 13:Personel always smiling and ready to help
Review 14:Only thing that bothered me was the free wifi was not strong enough so I could use the Ipads for the kids to watch - specially for the younges one.. But that is just a minor thing - overall very happy family..
Review 15:Service was excellent, a lot to do for my kids - never a dull moment. Food was really good, the pizza place down by the lake was so nice. The mini clubs were good as well..
Review 16:Poor WiFi, but who cares when you have everything else!
Review 17:Beautiful resort, amazing scenery, relaxing atmosphere, world-class customer service, and best ever breakfast!
Review 18:The wifi was really bad.
Review 19:I liked the Masseria Restaurant. It was really excellent dinner there. The breakfast was amazing. The kid's club and playground were nice. The family suite is spacious and comfortable.
Review 20:Excellent staff - everyone without exceptions very nice and frienly . Children facilities - playgrounds, swimming pool, kids club, animals etc... Sport facilities and restaurants for parents.
Review 21:The staff were so good, always happy to help but not in your face. You are just enveloped in a welcoming embrace. The view is just amazing, lovely walk either side the food is of a very high standard and delivered beautifully
Review 22:Wifi was a bit slow, signal was not great in the room. We were disappointed that the bar menu could not be ordered as room service after 6pm - travelling with an 11 month old, we had limited options for dinner. The daily menu and the grand carte were available, but we would have preferred the lighter, snackier bar menu.
Review 23:Great location. Huge balcony with a fantastic view over the lake. Staff were exceedingly friendly without exception.
Review 24:Breakfast was a madhouse! Although the breakfast was plentiful, there were so many people it was difficult to move about. Breakfast area too small, and not enough staff working.
Review 25:Spa area was great as it was not warm enough in April to swim outside; loved all the added treats for kids (donkeys, treasure hunt, welcome drinks, bath robes, etc); staff were fantastic; facilities were great too.
Review 26:We stayed for 6 nights during April, we had grate sunny days, with 3 kids (12/7/9) Perfect place for vocation, everything you could ask for to make your stay wonderful. Thank you for one of our best vication
Review 27:WIFI didn´t allow streaming. The food was slightly disappointing. Two of the main courses were "dull" and tasteless.
Review 28:Overall very good impression. Nice and friendly staff. Good and spacious room. Good cleaning standard
Review 29:The resort is not directly near a big town or attractions if you like that kind of thing, you can walk to Porlezza for 2 km and have a lovely ice cream but as said no need to leave the resort.
Review 30:The resort has all the ingredients for a great holiday. Pools, lake beach, kids club, sport animation, great restaurants with kids buffet, spa, BBC TV :)- and the staff are really there to cater for you all your needs and happy to assist. Como is an hour away and Lugano 20 minutes. The resort itself is beautifully sculpted with play area's, fish ponds and waterfalls. Lovely place.
Review 31:Very expensive hotel. One day 2 adults with breakfast, dinner & spa cost more than 410 euro.
Review 32:All hotel facilities was good but you should sellect nice wether to stay at hotel.
Review 33:Nothing apart from leaving
Review 34:The minute I arrived, I felt the hassle of life fade away - in part due to meeting up with my mates but also the scenery, clean air, the quiet & the friendly staff. My room was great & the views ... Wow. A great place to stay. I hope to be back sometime. Visiting also gave me an excuse to visit Zurich (twice) which was an added bonus
Review 35:Cons: Nickel and dime for some things like room service and to use the kitchen 10 and 60 Euros If the weather is bad no Pizza, your pretty much tied to the resort for food. The pizza can only be had at the bottom of the resort. Beach area...very difficult to access esp with strollers. Pool far better option for families. Location is not great, no town to walk to and get a pizza...but not a lot of reasons to leave the resort. Spa is not that impressive...should have a separate waiting area pre and post massage.
Review 36:Stayed five nights, had a great time with a young family! Pros: Very Clean Great for kids, kids club and staff are excellent Outdoor and indoor pool are great for kids Breakfast is great, resturant staff are very kid friendly...always! Staff very friendly to families Will most likely return next year.

Review 47:. A wonderful stay and a picturesque landscape! Excellent and very helpful staff.
Review 48:The landscape, the attitide of the staff, the cleanliness, the food, the facilities.
Review 49:The resort is very nice and clean. Nice and friendly staff. Perfect resort for families with kids. Overall very good impression.
Review 50:The staff was very very helpful, the facilities very clean and the overall experience was simply «sublime»!
Review 51:Perfect! great hotel for families with small children. We could really enjoy our stay...without ...oooh maybe our baby is too loud?
Review 52:Everything - people, location, food
Review 53:Make sure to obtain proper quote, expect room price hike if thinking of coming with rest of the family. Restaurant over priced, Wifi is a problem.
Review 54:Only spent one night,
Review 55:This was just a huge hotel for families with young children and/or dogs(!). We were looking for a quite place - this is just full of children and dogs. Our junior suite was really small with a glimpse of the lake - not worthy the extra money instead of an ordinary room. The SPA was also a disappointment - one pool, one jacuzzi and pool for children…the saunas wasn't open until afternoon. You can't really take a walk/bicycle safely anywhere…not even to the nearby village Porlezza. Two different restaurants at the hotel; the "children's restaurant" and La Masseria (the smaller one) that can't really cook - the meat we ordered was two days in a row, way too cooked despite ordering "Medium rare".
Review 56:Breakfast - fresh and clean early in the morning. Staff is welcoming and helpful.
Review 57:It was a shame the restaurants are not open at lunchtime. While the breakfast and dinners are delicious, The snack menu at the reception/bar and for by the pool is poor and overpriced. Also it is not available before 12, so if travelling with children who have early breakfasts, then it would help if there are better options by the pool for them late morning. Also not impressed they charge extra per night for use of the sofa bed for children that is already in the room!
Review 58:Generally an excellent hotel. Staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. The facilities are great and perfect for children. The views are spectacular and we would definitely recommend this hotel for a family stay.
Review 59:Hotel set on different levels so expect some walking up and downhill to see all the hotel facilities.
Review 60:Location , views , facilities ,staff , outdoor areas of hotel
Review 61:Great facilities. Amazing staff. The staff is very friendly, including all the restaurant waiters. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great time. The saunas, pools, the common spaces are divided to ensure a good separation between family and couple while providing service to all guests.
Review 62:Was fabulous hotel
Review 63:Excellent and friendly staff Plenty of space and things to do outside to amuse little children
Review 64:Food was too expensive - restaurant just ok.
Review 65:Massage, friendly concierge
Review 66:We love everything in the resort we spent five wonderful days :)
Review 67:the design of the rooms is not very attractive
Review 68:excellent location great staff
Review 69:The food, the distance of the pool from the room.
Review 70:Every thing but not ....
Review 71:everything was perfect )))
Review 72:spa a little crowded
Review 73:Excellent value for money, great food
Review 74:the narrow streets to reach the hotel
Review 75:the location and the excellent food
Review 76:Pizza not available
Review 77:Plenty of activities for children
Review 78:have to pay if we wanted staffs to bring something to the room.
Review 79:nature, relaxation, spa, very nice staffs
