Review 1：The hotel with incredibly friendly staff, despite the late arrival, the staff helped us accommodate and prepare children's meals. The hotel is in a very beautiful place, with incredible views from the window, Breakfast with very large choice of dishes, su very saiee and made from local ingredients. Review 4：We booked a 'Superior Room with Lake View' but when we arrived we were shown to a 'double with lake view' we were told that this was what we booked! It took a stern word or two to get them to change our room to the standard we were expecting. This was the only thing that marked them down.

Review 5：A great location, the views down Lake Garda were splendid, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops only minutes from the front door. The hotel was well located for sightseeing around the north end of the lake with its abundance of wind and sail sports. The best thing for us was the fantastic breakfast buffet, this was the best breakfast of our four week tour of Italy without exception.

Review 6：No instructions in rooms...we couldn't even figure out how to dial the front desk! Rooms were simple -- we were expecting more for what they charged for their most expensive category of rooms.

Review 12：My wife and I and two of our friends stayed at The Hotel Lago Di Garda to celebrate my wifes birthday. Torbole is in a beautiful part of Lake Garda with stunning scenery surrounding you and lots of local restaurants and bars to choose from. The hotel itself is first class and the view of the lake from our balcony was breathtaking. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast plentiful and well presented with a wide variety of choice. We also ate one night in their own Aqua restaurant which was a very enjoyable experience.

Review 13：The room was very noisy at 5:00 AM with garbage trucks working in the streets. In fairness, there is really nothing the hotel can do about this, and the windows are double paned to help with sound. My room was on an walkway that reverberated sound.

Review 14：From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by lovely smiling staff who couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They showed us to our superior double room with lake view and it certainly didn't disappoint, even though it was rainy and overcast, it was beautiful! The rooms provided a lovely restful sleep, and the room has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from and various coffees could be ordered to your liking. We also dined in the hotels restaurant, AQUA, one evening, which was great. We will definitely be returning some time in the future and I have already recommended this fantastic hotel to friends and family.

Review 27：We spent 4 nights here as part of a post-Christmas break and were made to feel very welcome - with a free upgrade to a good-size,comfortable room with unforgettable lake views! Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast each morning to fortify us against the chillly temperatures outside. Many of the local shops etc were, of course, closed during the festive season, but the wonderful location and comfortable accommdation made this a perfect break.

Review 30：This is a hotel we can highly recommend for everyone! The service was great; very friendly and helpful staff! We got a room with a sea view and a big balcony. We used the hotel spa twice. Something you don't want to miss. One night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant; Aqua. Wonderful food and definitely the best pizza in Torbole!

Review 31：Room was dark with little natural, or artificial lighting. Staff very keen to shut bar dead on 10:30pm. Will switch out lights and leave you in the dark. We had taster menu one night. Compliment's to the chef, but front of house had already cashed up before we had finished and we could only pay by cash which we had to go to the room and get and could not get the 10% discount offered. As one of the waitress's was busy laying tables around us for breakfast and looking at her watch all the time (9:45pm so not late) we assumed this was so they could get away. Shame, the chef had done a marvellous job, spoilt by front of house service being in rush to get away. They seem to forget that this was OUR holiday.

If considering Riva Del Garda consider staying here instead - better value, views and Riva looses the sun by 3pm, Torbole has all the evening sunshine for walks along the lake and you can catch a ferry or bus anytime at the hotel door.
