Hotel Denarius sells fast on our site. Located on the first line of the lake shore, in peaceful and quiet surroundings only an 8-minute walk from the centre of Ohrid, Hotel Denarius boasts an elegant restaurant which has a breathtaking view over Lake Ohrid and the city.
The restaurant has a capacity of 40 seats, serving skilfully prepared local and international specialities in an enjoyable ambience. Upon prior reservation, all kind of cocktails parties, weddings and other celebrations can be organised.
Enjoy the marvellous surroundings while sipping a coffee at the bar on the first floor of the Hotel Denarius. The bar seats up to 46 people. It has a 100 m² big indoor salon and a spacious open terrace.

Review 1：Size of room- tiny even for European standards.

Review 2：Lovely location overlooking the lake. Easy parking just outside the hotel (although we were there in winter). Friendly staff.

It is a bit farther from the city center which is a great plus when it comes to parking and having a quiet night sleep.The restaurant at the top floor has the most gorgeous view.Worth every penny

Review 19：When I booked the room, it was never mentioned that the price was only for one person. And if you have a guest, you will be charged additionally. Everywhere in the world the price you pay is per room (with max occupancy listed). In Ohrid, apparently it is per person, never mind how big is the room...

Review 27：Lovely room, I had a very nice view towards the old town and fortress. Very clean bathroom. Good restaurant and range of food on the menu. Quality of food was very, very good. There are hotels closer to the attractions, but this modern hotel is worth the 10-15 min walk along the lake front.

The rooms vary significantly: the superior rooms are spacious and have amazing views of the lake; the double rooms are extremely small with scarcely enough space to circumnavigate the bed.

Review 34：The room was tiny which made moving around it awkward for 2 people and the balcony(which is what you want on the lake) was so small we had to sit one in front of the other and there was no table to put a coffee on or anything.

Review 44：The superior room is excellent, with large windows on three walls, luxurious, classy, a huge masterbed, very clean. It offers an incredible view over the lake, practically all you see when enter the room is the blue, blue everywhere! Delicious, rich breakfast served on a terrace near the lake, good coffee; kind, friendly staff. In a word, memorable!!!

Review 88：There are small things they can still improve, such as that coffee and water for tea were always cold in the morning, because there is no electricity plug for the machines near the table. (They could just arrange the tables differently, I guess.) Also they could put a bottle of water on the serving table, so that one doesn't have to ask them for a glass of water each morning :) Not much else. Small things, as I said.

Review 89：We were in the superior room, it was very comfortable, well designed, and we had all facilities we needed. The view on the lake was magnificent! The breakfast consists of the usual stuff, it was all fresh and nice, and don't miss out the greatest little rolled baklavas (type of cookies) ever! The stuff was very kind and helpful on many occasions, though that stands for all macedonian people we met on our trip. Heating worked very well.

Review 95：Before we event returned key, our room was turned upside down....like we were already checked out. We where forced to finish our last breakfast, waiter took plates in front of us. We had to clean air con filters, to provide heating in the room.

Review 99：The room was too little. There was no space to open our suitcases even. The bed was ridiculously soft and that made me feel every wire in it. It was soo uncomfortable. The breakfast did not have much variety, lots of meat and cheese. I had to eat a lot of bread as there was nothing else to fill my hungry stomach.

Besides someone unlocked my room twice even though I locked my room. There is a lot of noise from the next room, the upper floor, a refrigerator. Front desk clerks did a few mistakes.

The apartments were vary spacey and clean. We weretraveling with our child and he got sick during the stay. The staff wasextremely helpful and they tried to help us in any way they could. Iwarmly recommend villa Denarius to all travelers coming to Ohrid. Wewill definitively choose the same villa when returning to Ohrid.
