Reviews for King's Residence Hotel

Review 1:We stayed at a number of hotels in greece over two weeks. This was by far the most expensive and most uncomfortable. Automatic aircon meant we were unable to sleep comfortably. No wifi in the rooms also an inconvenience. The cleaners came to the room early and no beach bar as stated. Battled to get coffee at breakfast.

Review 2:Location was ideal and quiet at a busy period.

Review 3:It smelt like an old folks home. Probably a nice hotel in 1992 or something. Very dated and dark inside

Review 4:Leaving 10 mins after checking in

Review 5:Everything is under the minimum accettable standard for a 4 stars hotel.

Review 6:Nothing.

Review 7:Lack of staff Air condition was limited and poor Beauty spa and one restaurant was closed Poor internet service

Review 8:The location

Review 9:Value for money

Review 10:Location The residence is amazing in terms of variety of spaces, pool, private beach (awesome)

Review 11:We do not think this Hotel deserves its 4-Star Grading any longer. Whilst the Reception Office were excellent, the general management of the hotel was poor and we found many errors. 1. We booked a Cottage on the recommendation of friends-all the Cottages had been recently closed for the winter. We had a week of very hot weather and we believe the Hotel should have informed us about the non-availabilty and made a mistake in closing the Cottages so early. 2.We were given a good room in the hotel but found the air-conditioning had been turned off. We had to have fresh air and so our room was invaded by midges and we were badly bitten. 3. The Pool Bar had been closed for the winter-most disappointing. 4. The Il Ripligio Restarant, located just below the hotel and recommended to us by friends had also closed for the winter. 5 The Bar was never staffed-the barman employed in the Dining Room below. 6. We had Room 210. By day, the passage is so dark it is very difficult to find the keyhole of the doorlock-a light is required near room 210 and 211. 7. The Hotel is insufficiently signposted from the town of Palinuro. There are two points on the road where several route options are available but there is no sign. 8. The push-down Basin plug in Room 210 needs repair for it seldom works and so water has to run continually to wash. 9. We had to report the lack of toilet paper in the Gents and Ladies toilets on two occasions. We raised all these points with Reception who agreed to pass them on to Management-this is where the problems lies in the Hotel-slack management. I would recommend the Hotel but-with reservations.

Review 12:Fine position of hotel and beautiful view

Review 13:It looks like it was built in the 70s and was not renovated at all sincethen. Most of the hotel's extra facilities were closed (bar, disco). The breakfast was very bad, cheap orange juice and corn flakes andundrinkable coffee. The stairway down to the beach is quite long andold, it definitely needs renovation.

Review 14:Nice big rooms with huge terraces. The hotel itself lays on a mountainright above the sea and has a beautiful view over the water. The beachis superb, in a nice small bay, with basically no people around. If youcan get a good deal on booking, it can be a good value for your money. The scenery itself is great enough to stay there.

Review 15:No hot water in the mornings a real pain! Told staff and just received excuses. For a hotel of this style it's just not good enough. A long way from the action in town if you have to walk in and out as there are some very steep hills. Think there were other alternatives in town worth exploring next time. Internet at the hotel was isolated to just the lounge area immediate to reception and awfully slow!

Review 16:View from hotel and friendly staff. Food was nice.

Review 17:view beach
