Reviews for Hotel Celta
Review 1:We were on the 5th floor with a 3 year old, the window opens completely, This is an obvious source of danger
Review 2:Very attentive staff from the restaurant captain Mario, the housekeeper Maribel and tha night staff on room service
Review 3:I didn't like the breakfast buffet. However, I was allowed to order off the menu and that was satisfactory.
Review 4:This is a very nice, clean place. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice.
Review 5:The BEDS ARE AWFUL. They are like sleeping on the floor. The bathrooms have mold. The siding on the tub is very high and hard for even healthy individuals to get in and out of safely. The pool looks like a refurbished fountain.
Review 6:The location of the hotel is okay, but not recommended if you have children. It's central to a plaza but lots of traffic because it's on a main street. The breakfast buffet is delicious and probably the only thing that is worth anyone's time.
Review 7:I wish they had provided more towels and water bottles in the room. Also, my friend's bed didn't have a blanket on it, just one sheet folded over.
Review 8:Air conditioning worked well and wasn't too noisy. Decor was simple but creative. Room was clean. Could get anywhere in the city via taxi for $40-100 MXN. Fresh juices in the morning are delicious!
Review 9:The receptionist woman did wanna charge tax for twice, and they give me a double room although I paid as a king room. ¡¡¡NO HAY WIFI SIEMPRE!!! And in the morning they deliver water in ONE HOUR after I order, with two calls and they call us"chicos" which means guys, which a guest doesn't deserve.
Review 10:The room is nice and the details are nice.
Review 11:Can't complain about anything.
Review 12:Hotel is in a great location. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Safe overall. Next time we go to Guadalajara, that's the hotel we're staying at again for sure.
Review 13:Lousy toiletries in the rooms and also poor conditioning of the bathrooms, very poorly maintained. need refurbishment, in particular baths....
Review 14:Well located accessible to several points of the city.
Review 15:The room feels old, the bathroom really needs a remodeling, but in general it was a good stay
Review 16:The bed was comfortable, and they clean my room everyday, the Hotel is a good looking back, nice location in the city
Review 17:Our window didn't close and we were on the street side so noisy. The bed is incredibly hard.
Review 18:Location was 15 minute walk to meeting venue which was interesting and good exercise.
Review 19:One thing to keep in mind, the restaurant charges u the service fee (15% tip) which is ILLEGAL in Mexico. Once u tell them to remove it, they do so, but the thing here is that the act of includding the tip on the check is illegal. Additionally, the room service during nightshift costs 30% more and it is not specified anywhere. One last comment, the lobby, reception, restaurant and all the ground floor looks a little bit dark during day and night and makes look the hotel worts than it is. It is a nice place but the lighting does not helps it to looks better.
Review 20:WIFI service, i think it is great they have it already as normal and free service to offer. Parking lot. The cleanning and service I lost nothing on my trip. The service personal is very nice, gently and proffesional.
Review 21:The photos of the hotel are in fact misleading. The rooms are in poor shape - the bathrooms are old the tile is old there is grime throughout. Because of how the hotel is configured, you can hear ALL of the noise from the pool. Kids were playing in the pool for many hours, yelling, screaming, thus allowing for no rest or relaxation. I suggest you pay a bit more and stay somewhere else - I will never stay here again, and I don't recommend this hotel. Terrible place.
Review 22:Not much. I wish I had something good to say. The place is old.
Review 23:The noise you could hear everyone take a shower talk and walk the corridors plus wifi was really weak had to log in every 10 minutes and some of the staff seamed like they didn't like their job lack of communication
Review 24:Loved the food everything was near by specially our house Keeper alma she is the best if I return I want to stay in her work area very nice person

Review 30:Wifi and central location
Review 31:The wi-fi was really bad during our stay.
Review 32:El wifi se cae constantemente
Review 33:Está cerca de todo
Review 34:Wifi on room a little slow or no strong signal, far for downtown
Review 35:Cleaning room, pool, service at restaurant
Review 36:Horrible, unusable internet, poor restaurant, outdated decor, very thin walls and noisy pool area

Review 38:The bed was uncomfortable and the staff can be more helpful about the city

Review 53:Rude personnel. A guy entered the room one morning knocking only once... wifi is dreadful.
Review 54:Big bed. Spacious room. Good breakfast buffet.
Review 55:don`t have excercise area
Review 56:You do not have enough room for me to tell you everything. First, the pictures on the website are very misleading! This hotel looks beautiful. Yes, they spent lots of money remodeling the LOBBY, that is it. The rest of the hotel is OLD! Our first room smelled like sewage. They told us they would switch us in an hour. Two hours later, we are still in same room. When we get them to show us another room, we accept, we are waiting for the bellman to return to our original room with keys & cart to move us, he never returns. My friend finally goes downstairs, the bellman is with someone else! The beds are rock hard, the showers dribbles water, the tile has huge chunks missing in the shower, the hallways are tile so you hear every sound everyone is making, my friends shower has some 1950's plastic door that was moldy, he got trapped once he was inside. It was a horrible experience. We got what we paid for. A Cheap Hotel.
Review 57:The location was what we wanted, near the expo. We got a cheap price on booking.com; about half the rack rate. One of the bellmen was good.
Review 58:geared toward business travelers, not quite a family getaway, small pool, NO shuttle service, weak room air conditioning
Review 59:superb customer service located next to shopping center, food courts, services bi-lingual staff, decent breakfast buffet
Review 60:The wi-fi is slow and it keeps asking the password every two minutes.
Review 61:The big window in the room, the bright lights in the bathroom, the easy access from the parking to the elevators and the location.
Review 62:Two lights were burnt out on arrival. They said they didn't have extra lights, but would buy them next day. Next day - lights still out. They said they did not have a maintenance man to fix them. Third day, lights still out. Front desk shrug - manana. Never fixed. Day one. Wash cloth had lipstick stains. Day two. No bath mat. Just lots of inattention to basics.
Review 63:It was 2 blocks from Plaza del Sol where we found a Diary Queen.
Review 64:Second time we booked here and both times they did not have ourreservation on record. It took almost two hours for them to bring towelsfor the pool, and that was only after we asked a second time... Brrrr.Beds on the hard side.
Review 65:Pretty nice hotel and if you can get a deal (say $35-55 per night)it's worth it. Heated pool. Great decor.
Review 66:I got at 14 hrs and the room was not clean yet. I had to stay at thelobby to wait.
Review 67:Swimming pool was warm, that was excellent for my children.Location was excellent, near to the Plaza del Sol, and where you can get the tourist city sightseeing bus.
Review 68:Room service tried to rip me off charging me $10usd for water and coffeethat came 3 hrs after I order it, then I had to chase him for forchange. Terrible.
