Reviews for Villa Imperiale Hotel

Review 1:Having specified that we would like a table for dinner, on arrival were told that the restaurant was effectively closed, being open only for a group seminar. They then said kindly that we could have a table, and share the restricted menu prepared for the group. This was not a huge success. The pasta, for example, was nearly raw - and we do understand what al dente means. Since the chef was not offering choice, he could have ensured perfection. The waitress's charm made up for most things, but it felt like a lodging house, not an hotel.

Review 2:The staff, who were charming. Good luck with the parking - which would normally be a nightmare, certainly in season. A slot in front of the hotel cleared just as we arrived.

Review 3:What a great little place! We arrived and we were offered the half board which we accepted. Dinner was in the garden and the foood was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Breakfast the next day was more than enough. We even refused the offer of eggs as we could not eat what was already at our table. Our room was very spacious with two double beds and even a piano. The auberge was a grat base to explore the area.

Review 4:Very spaceous and beautiful rooms with heigh ceilings in an old villa. Only a small street inbetween the hotel and the beach with very limited traffic Gorgeous patio for breakfast and dinner

Review 5:Very nice setting in a garden next to a quiet road and close to the nice beach. Superb dinner

Review 6:the room décor has been done with the intention to keep the vintage style, a more modern décor would have been nicer giving a luxury feel with the contrast between modern/vintage. but that is a personal opinion.

Review 7:Staff was very friendly and most helpful. everything was within a short distance, breakfast was yummy, there was not a single fault. perfect.

Review 8:the parking lot is 500m away, so 10€ is a little to expensive.

Review 9:very nice people working there, the breakfast is very good with fresh fruits, sweet confiture & italian like good coffee, I definately recommend the hotel.

Review 10:If you book a parking and you stay on a Monday night, then you will need to park the car 500m (!) away from the hotel. The luggage you will need to carry there yourself. This is due to the weekly market which is on Tuesday morning. The road will be blocked, you can't enter or exit the hotel by car. They did not tell us beforehand, which was quite annoying. Execept from that, a pleasant and nice stay at a fair price.

Review 11:The location is very nice - very close from the sea, in the middle of the town. The building and its yard we liked very much. The staff is very friendly. The room and the bath room were very spacious.

Review 12:1. The food. If it had not been half board I would not have eaten there more than once. 2. The parking is not nearby as advertised. It is 500 metres away. 3. No porterage. Heavy bag impossible to take to bedside in a two-level so-called de luxe room. 4. Toilet seat broken.

Review 13:1. Wi-Fi worked well.

Review 14:I missed having a balcony, and the first imprestion of the reception area and hallways of the hotel did not correspond with the price and expectaions in the picture. We were disapointed at start, but the total package of the hotels resturant, closeness to the shops and restaurant/bar area and the great beach area waied up and made us quickly love the place.

Review 15:Location is great, and the resturant was a very positive surprice. Our family specially enjoyed the healthy childrens menu, for us a totally selling point and reson for returning. I wish more resturants in Italy would offer that. The restuarant staff was also very attentive towards kids. We normally never eat at the hotel we are staying at, but here we did ..every dinner. The beach area where the hotel is providing sunbeds was the best we have experienced in Italy. Big rooms and a well working WiFi.

Review 16:the breakfast was a bit rudimentary. poor coffee.

Review 17:nice hotel, lovely attic room with sea view. quiet place in a pretty little town with great restaurants/bars

Review 18:Excellent service and great location for a weekend by the sea. Late check out was no problem. Copious breakfast. Rooms are a great size even with 2 extra beds for the kids,

Review 19:It turned out that the hotel rates would have been much more favourable had we booked directly via the hotel.

Review 20:Old renovated villa with wonderful inside garden. Breakfast is fsntastic, and lots of eye for detail regarding the decoration of the hotel. You only have to cross the street to get to the beach. This is the main street of Spotorno but generally cars do not drive too fast. We stayed in standard room 3 which is on the ground floor. Hence you do hear quite a bit from the noise in the garden. Probably betted to get a room on the upper floors.
