Review 1：There are no road signs to help locate the place so get ready to try to find it the old fashion way. Water pressure in rooms is 0 to none, food quality is poor breakfast, lunch and dinner has the same taste. There was no peace and quiet as advertised since there is background noise from the surrounding populated areas that made it difficult to really fit the profile.

Review 3：The location and planning of the facilities: Hostal de la Luz honors its name: In the morning, the sun will shine all over the place, filling you with energy for the early activities. In the afternoon, shade will cool out the place while the evening sun illuminates the Tepozteco mountain chain. The views from the balcony are amazing. This hotel was conceived as a place for relaxing and self-reflection - they totally nailed it.

Review 4：Food was average, particularly for non-Mexicans. Spa facilities could do with upgrading. A bit precious about its self proclaimed holistic approach. Calling all rooms suites is stretching the imagination.

Review 12：There's a construction for new departments going on. We had a suite and below our balcony there was the whole time a lot of noise. The breakfast for almost 20 Euro per person was like in a two stars hotel. The information about the spa offers wasn't like it should be. Although for 200 euro per night there should be at least a steam bath included but all what was additional was to expensive for that quality. The summary is that the location of the hotel is really great but we got the impression that 5 stars isn't the real standard of that hotel, maybe 10 years ago. For that money we spend it was really disappointing.
