Reviews for La Hacienda Bahia Paracas
Review 1:We enjoyed the large rooms wiyh banconies and our grandaughter was very happy withball the activities for children. The food was very good, all in all a very happy long weekend.
Review 4:Everything perfect
Review 5:Everything! It is - as said in the review - really a very nice Resort. Not too big, and an amazing pool in between of the rooms. A lot of space to relax and very friendly. The rooms have an amazing view over the pool to the sea. The breakfast is really good.
Review 6:I would suggest to put a cook next to the buffet to prepare different type of omelettes on the go. This is a nice way of interaction to get more feedback about the hotel. Service is good and I believe staff should be recognized for their hard work. I would suggest to give fake coins to tourists (could be 1 or 2) and encourage the tourists to give the coins as a reward to the employee who was the most helpful during the stay. The more coins the employee gets, the more valuable resource asset for the hotel.
Review 7:facility and service
Review 8:Very little.
Review 9:The staff could not have been nicer. We have some special diet requirements, the catering manager ensured that these were met every day. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony. There is a very interesting museum at the hotel which contains artefacts from a number of cultures. The concierge arranged different trips for us each day of our stay. It was nice to have bikes available but the road was in pretty bad condition for cycling.
Review 10:A lousy breakfast for a hotel of this category! The choice of food was poor and they wanted to charge me for an espresso. It was my 50th birthday and the hotel did nothing, not even the smallest gesture, to acknowledge that.
Review 11:Excellent facilities, cleanliness, very good food, large room with a beautiful view and a spacious terrace.
Review 12:The kids loved the location on the train platform, and the traditional lunch and organic farm were wonderful.
Review 13:The food, the location, the staff
Review 14:The bahia beach isn`t nice!
Review 15:The swimming pool is the best!
Review 16:None at all.
Review 17:Just about everything - we will go back.
Review 18:Wifi was poor in room. Staff very robot like at reception, not very friendly
Review 19:Best facilities, customer service and food we've found yet in Paracas
Review 20:Selection is good but with the local produce the food could be much better
Review 21:Good selection of peruvian food
Review 22:staff could have been friendlier
Review 23:Views, pools, restaurant, decor and overall vibe
Review 24:Poor restaurant menu
Review 25:Good bedrooms Excelent location
Review 26:Restaurant is too expensive for what it is. The final bill is always more than the menu prices yet it's claimed taxes are included. They use a mix of soles and US dollars on the restaurant bill to further confuse. Breakfast at the weekend was so much better than during the week when it was more quiet. Poor as the price to stay was the same.
Review 27:The staff are very good Bicycles and kayaks provided. Secure parking. Free coffee station, although it wasn't always kept hot
Review 28:You cannot swim in the océan because of jelly fish
Review 29:The hôtel is ideally located in a bay ! There are million of birds coming in that same bay The rooms are spacious The swimming pool is amazing The restaurant is excellent The service is top
Review 30:Its perfect for relax and have great moments in family. The sea is full of jellyfish and stingray so you have to rent a boat at the hotel. There are a lot of places to go, Islas Ballestas, Candelabro, et cetera. The swimming pool it's a great option. The food and drinks are delicious.
Review 31:Paracas is insanely windy. When the sand storm picks up in the afternoon, it becomes unbearable to be outside. While the hotel is nice, it is in an odd location secleded from everything. I would not go back here. Also, there was really loud construction going on next door and the hotel refused to refund me.
Review 32:The food was good, the rooms were really nice and clean, and the staff was nice.
Review 33:Staff friendly and well trained, but there could have been more staff attending in the restaurant and poolside bar.
Review 34:Our room was very comfortable including a large living area with built-in sofas, leading out to a lattice-roofed terrace with a nice wood table and two chairs plus two padded lounge chairs. The best feature of all was the walkout from the terrace directly into a shallow edge of the pool. Beautiful charming hacienda-type architectural design, tons of bougainvilla vines with colorful everywhere, enormous and well-designed pool.
Review 35:Very formal staff, austere atmosphere and not much warmth or humanity anywhere. Poor breakfast with lack of choice. Strange bathroom arrangement where it was connected to another bathroom
Review 36:Fantastic position beside the sea and beautiful setting around a large pool.
Review 37:There seems to be a cleaning agent they use for the planters, tiles, floors, etc, which is almost toxic-smelling, or at least kerosene-ish, and unfortunately they used it during meals on the outdoor patio, in enclosed foyers, etc, even when guests were present. Surely there is either a less noxious cleaner or a more thoughtful time they could do this work?
Review 38:The staff were accommodating, friendly, and amenable to our various questions. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and all the extra leisure activities available--biking, kayaking, etc--and the proximity to the Reserva on the bay.
Review 39:Everything was excellent!
Review 40:very good
Review 41:Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Review 42:Amazing Italian Restaurant. Pools were stunning. Expected a dodgy place driving there but it exceeded my expectations by far
Review 43:The first thing that I liked the most was the warmth of the staff and the peace and quiet of the hotel.
Review 44:Needed a taxi to get about
Review 45:Helpful and delightful staff
Review 46:location and food
Review 47:The beach is full of jelly fishes. We could not go in.
Review 48:The facilities like our room and the pool.
