Review 2：The location, pool facilities, bar and pizzeria were all excellent. Short walk to the beach. All we could ask for. When ewe did not like our original room allocation a change was made instantly.

Review 3：Cold tea at breakfast but wasn't expecting to be charged an extra 20€ for the use of facilities; I have never come across this. Not a huge amount but should have been included in the price.

Review 5：We expected a much better continental breakfast from a 4 star hotel. We have had much better in all our hotels and B&B's in Italy the last 2 1/2 weeks. Was also charged for a Hotel club card they didn't inform us about at check in. Booking.com must be more precise about this since the end price will be higher than expected. But all in all a great and pleasant stay at Hotel Melograni.

Review 7：If you don't have a towel for use at thepool or beach the hotel will supply for 5euro per person (they don't tell you this on arrival), so use your own if you have one!

Review 10：The location was perfect for us , close enough to the center and easy driving and finding parking spaces. Once in the center after 5 minute drive ,walking is quite pleasant to restaunts an attractions. The staff could not have been more helpfull and pleasant.

Review 11：Totally inflexible service on reception - we needed to leave one day before planned checkout and even though we told them two days before, we had to pay for that day.. because the reservation was through booking. In the swimming pool there was mandatory to have swimming cap (did not go there, we are not monkeys.. and I think that a 4 stars hotel can take some extra care to clean filters time to time instead of bother guests with these terrible swimming caps... ). The hotel is like resort-hotel; must wear bracelet.. Hate this..

Review 17：The staff went out of their way to help and ensure a special gluten free menu was available. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Review 18：The hotel I Melograni is rather a 1-2 star hotel than a 4 star hotel, because the decoration of the bedrooms is very poor, the beds are uncomfortable and the hotel looks like a typical beach resort hostel without any good taste. Besides the hotel is charging extra costs for parking your car even if they in booking.com announce that parking is free (this is NOT true). The car park is gravel and hidden between trees and with difficult access. There's no free WIFI in rooms, just in the reception and only for 2 hours. You also pay extra for the swimming pool even if you don't use it, so the final bill is much higher than what they announce in booking.com. We'd advice you to rather visit the southern Puglia (Salento) than the Gargano area. It's not worth the detour to visit the Gargano area according to our opinion.

Review 19：The hotel is near to the sea and the breakfast is ok. Furthermore Vieste is a nice town.

Review 20：The room was a little more basic than expected and comparer to European standards & prices. We would have liked a bath but the only available room was a suite, This would have cost another E250. We were shown the area and despite two rooms still only had one shower. Would like to stay and chill out for a day. Irsina is beautiful. Air conditioning or, otherwise in restaurants, was wonderful.. xx

Review 21：Nice location, Michael very helpful in reception. Reasonable room with small balcony. Everything in the hotel was very clean and kept well.

Review 22：Not a 4 star, basic furnishing, breakfast items not replenished - we waited 10 minutes for scrambled eggs before giving up. Wifi very poor, bathroom needed renovation and shower was tiny. TV antiquated. Not a 10 minute walk to the centre, it took us about 25 minutes walking at a reasonable pace. Pool overcrowded, (so didn't use it) bathing hats compulsory (never seen this before anywhere in the world) and beware of the small print, there is a COMPULSORY daily charge for using the pool and/or the private beach on top of the room charge, whether you use the facilities or not. Very overpriced - could not recommend this hotel although would recommend Vieste as a destination.

Review 23：Staff generally friendly and helpful, especially Michele on the front desk who went out of his way to help. Room spacious (but bathroom small). Green and leafy setting with lots of parking.

Review 24：We had to Pay 5,5 Euro extra per Day per Person, a Kind of Club fee. Waiters were uninterested and the service was bad.

Review 28：As it shares the site with other accomodations (camping, appartments, etc.), the on-site resaurants (the pizzeria) can get really packed. It is a children friendly site so many can be running around. Some waiters lack experience/training but it has a minimal impact.

The beach is a 4 minute walk away and the access is free. Clean beach and nice staff. My girlfriend and I really had a great time and we are very happy to have chosen this hotel. The hotel is a 15 minutes walk away from the city center, which is very convenient. The staff of the hotel is nice. The room was well isolated, with a nice balcony. Nous recommandons cet hôtel à tous !
