Reviews for Hotel Villa Glicini

Review 1:Was a bit cold in the room and not enough light in the bathroom.

Review 2:Modern swimming pool and fitness right next to the villa. Stable internet, good breakfast - fresh orange juice! Free parking.

Review 3:The breakfast is rich, but there are mainly "supermarket packs" (not any, or very little, homemade bakery).

Review 4:Nice and clean. Big parking. Friendly staff.

Review 5:Nowhere to sit outside in peace Not enough space in dining area at breakfast time Busyness of pool area Music in pool area

Review 6:Coffee making facilities in room Nice bathroom

Review 7:The pool is open to the public so is overcrowded. Even some kind of summer camp with lots of kids staying overnight in tents at pool area. Seems more like a highway hotel, and only one option for dining, where food is OK, but waiters are stressed out because of either too few waiters or bad management.

Review 8:That you are really given a chance to work on your meditative skills in a challenging environment. Generally, front desk staff was nice.

Review 9:Not walking distance from Pinerolo centre.

Review 10:Fresh rooms, good aircon, good beds. Jacuzzi in bedroom ! Large pools belonging to the hotel. Very nice personell. Very good value for money.

Review 11:Pool closed in early October despite heat Aside from the supermarket not really near anything (nearest town/village was a good 40 minute walk).

Review 12:Its near a supermarket Free wifi Bar and restraunt on site

Review 13:Nothing at all.

Review 14:I had an excellent stay. Cheap and very comfourtable hotel! Room was clean and big. Jacuzzi in room! Excellent, totally recomndable!! Good breakfast too!

Review 15:Booking.com says villa glicini is located at "valpellice". in fact, it is located at "val pellice", which makes a significant difference since the street "valpellice" also exists in Pinerolo, but in the middle of the woods. This resulted in us getting lost with the car, and asking local residents who said we are clearly not the first ones to get lost there. So Villa Glicini should quickly correct their address and improve the direction instructions.

Review 16:Clean, nice, quiet, friendly staff, large and good breakfast, very good value for money!

Review 17:Noice at night due to very long party pools. Unconfortable rooms, without blackout courtains are going to make you wakeup at sunrise. Breakfast is poor and you will have to wait for a table to sit down.

Review 18:Located in an industrial area amongst repair shops. Motel-like quadruple room accommodations. Area workers rest in the lobby cafe on a constant basis. Feels more like a truck driver hub.

Review 19:Close to Pinerolo town center. Easy highway access.

Review 20:Space and daylight

Review 21:Bed

Review 22:I required a quite room when booked the hotel, but room was very noisy. Did not sleep comfortably.

Review 23:Cleanliness, welcome, good beakfast, pets allowed!!

Review 24:Location, out of the way

Review 25:Staff always ready to help

Review 26:I hardly recommend this hotel. A wonderful place to spend the time. I would like to come back after a few years.

Review 27:The air-conditioning didn't work properly (it was a very hot day)

Review 28:A nice wide-range breakfast buffet and a nice and efficient waiter

Review 29:Although croissants and small rolls were provided, there was no other choice of fresh pastries or bread. Yoghurts provided but none included low or % fat. Choice of the fresh fruit had dwindled by 3rd morning.

Review 30:Staff were helpful and friendly, especially when we needed to check- in on line for our flight home. .Good quality bed Excellent coffee

Review 31:Quite far from town Pool is season only 2 persons bed was 2 single mattresses

Review 32:Help of the staff Price/Quality Own bar Distance from Turino/Sestriere

Review 33:I booked for the wrong day but the very helpful staff sorted everything out. The breakfast is very good - with a generous and varied buffet and proper coffee. The swimming pool complex is excellent - obviously at weekends and during the holidays it gets busy but there's still plenty of time for a swim. Note though that the hotel is about 4 or 5 kilometres from the centre of Pinerolo.

Review 34:room not properly cleaned, very noisy a/c at nights, basic breakfast but I guess you get for what you pay. I don't think that this hotel should be a 4 star establishment anyway. Swimming pool is not part of the hotel and its open to everyone who want to pay and relax at the pools and the sauna.

Review 35:spacious parking, swimming pool and the petit watermania for kids. Restaurant next door, very good value. All in all it was okish,

Review 36:Nice hotel with excellent swimming pool. Well situated between the mountains and Torino. The small town of Pinerolo is worth a visit as well, defeintely to visit a real Italian city, far way from touristic places.

Review 37:If you plan to stay fo you will have to take all the kitchen utensils with you. You just have the area for cooking cold dishes and the fridge.

Review 38:We stayed at the hotel only for one night but enjoyed it very much. It's very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is quite good. We didn't have enough time to relax in the swimming pool area but we could see it offers attractions for children and for adults (some spa things).

Review 39:It was a hot Sunday night and the a/c broke in all hotel - could notbe fixed until Monday.

Review 40:Updated hotel, clean, spacious, well equiped room w/ wifi, safe, newer TV.Easy parking, short drive to attractive Pinerolo. Pizzeria onpremises. Good base to visit Piemonte towns and countryside.

Review 41:The receptionists were a bit slow and we had to wait a bit to be served and finally when she did appear not a word of apology. Still workmen outside so we were woken up early. I was there in january and builders still working?! .

Review 42:The room had a kettle with teas and coffee facilities! Excellent. Rooms very clean and lots of towels.

Review 43:In-room TV was small and positioned on the ceiling on the other side of the room.

Review 44:All personnel was very kind and always available for any need. Room was comfortable and clean, maybe a little small for US standards. Morning breakfast was very good.

Review 45:Room was rather cold, heating hadn;t been switched on yet

Review 46:Excellent breakfast and very courteous and friendly staff. Dinner in the adjoining restaurant was also very good.

Review 47:No garage for bicycle, need to go through the Hotel staircase. No possibility to clean the bike. Near of the main road ( lot of traffic!)

Review 48:Swimming pool

Review 49:I had hoped for an area that had a garden for walking my dog. It was under construction and there was a rubble filled area to walk the dog - poor outcome for me. Too close to the road and noisy through out the night...did not sleep well as a result.

Review 50:It was located where I needed to be for meetings. Basically clean and safe parking for car was good.

Review 51:Great Hotel, Second time staying with our family (including 3 smallchildren). Breakfast was included in the price. Staff are great! Willingto meet all our requests in a friendly manner, and quickly.See my other review

Review 52:Was only sorry not to stay longer.

Review 53:Best value for money I have found anywhere in Italy. Enormous room, self-catering or try the hotel's excellent restaurant. Full-size outdoorswimming pool. Books and sweets at the friendly reception. Naturally, onsuch attractive terms, this is a busy and full hotel, but I would refutereports that they run out of breakfast. We turned up latish (9) andfound everything you could want (cereal, croissants, bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt). To sum up: full marks all round.

Review 54:location

Review 63:Nice room

Review 64:The bed was unconfortable. The room walls look dirty.

Review 65:good breakfast

Review 66:Location is 2km out of Pinorolo which was problem without your own transport.

Review 67:Clean large rooms. Good breakfast and good staff.

Review 68:We had perspiration dripping off our faces during our dinner, very unpleasant!

Review 69:This is not a four star establishment! Reasonable but not great.

Review 70:Swimming pool was closed for repairs.

Review 71:Clean and friendly staff. By car the hotel is close to mountains and also city.

Review 72:The noice from the road was quite significant, but fortunately the road is not so busy during the night.

Review 73:Nice, clean and friendly place!

Review 74:The room was very dark

Review 75:Location was excellent and the restaurant adjoining good value and full of local Italians
