Reviews for Biesbosch Glamping
Review 1:My booking said there would be welcome drinks. At location there was no info about it, so it took some time to contact booking customer service. After a while I was offered one drink. This booking site and owner had/have some misunderstandings because according to owner they havent offered free drinks for about a year. So, if your booking says you have a welcome drink, you actually dont have it. Wifi available only in hostel.
Review 2:Location is very nice, close to a canal. It's like a hotel room with fresh air. Hostel nextdoor, where you checkin, has a bar where you can also dine.
Review 3:The shared bathroom facilities were strictly ok (could have been cleaned better). Too many cars crowding the campsite.
Review 4:Lovely location, comfortable and well furnished tents, reasonably priced. Bikes/canoes can be easily rented at the hostel next door.
Review 5:The only thing I can have a moan about was the bike hire. We were informed that bike hire for persons staying within the hostel is free with no deposit but for "glampers" it was a 100 euro refundable deposit. As we were only staying for three nights we didn't take a lot of euros with us so we didn't want to pay the deposit and then have to withdraw more euros to have a nice day out on the bikes (restaurant and drinks). Deposit is a little unreasonable for a short stay.
Review 6:Price is very reasonable for what you get. The safari tents are distanced perfectly from each other meaning you have the privacy everyone wants when you go away. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Review 7:While fairly clean, the shower facilities are slightly dated, but provide hot water.
Review 8:The tents are well equipped with comfortable beds and furniture. Great to have use of a BBQ and a kitchenette ( at a small cost). Location is fantastic!
Review 9:The Breakfast
Review 10:The tent is very well built and maintained and it's location in the biesbosch is great. This is the best camping stay I experienced in my life. The comfort and facilities rating cannot be 5stars obviously because it's a tent not a Hotel. However I highly recommend staying in this place.
Review 11:Could be improved by having a tent for couples with a Double bed Shower area not very clean this is provided by the hostel next next to the campsite and doesn't seem to be a high priority to be cleaned often Bug spray will be a good Idea we where quite eaten by the time we left of course this is no fault of the owners
Review 12:Super Friendly staff who where very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area Good location for the national park and easy access to Dordrect very quiet campsite
Review 13:Very friendly owners, relaxed place with plenty outdoor space for children to play.
Review 14:common douche and toilets were not cleaned well
Review 15:BBQ and Fire facility Biking & canoe rental on location
Review 16:Firstly it's not really glamping as the facilities are very limitedto a bed and duvet. It's 5 mns walk for a massive factory producingI guess electricity and it makes a constant loud noise at night whichcan of spoil the area a bit in my opinion. We were at the time 3 coupleswith children and we all booked for 2 adults and 2 children but bewareas you have to pay for an extra bed which sometimes might not beavailable. They do have to fix that. It could be absolutely freezing atnight but again it says we can rent for an extra charge a heater but inreality we've asked and been told no (as I found out later theydidn't have any more) but some did?
Review 17:The showers and toilets were clean and the hostel next to it was a plus. The national park near by if you want to have some activites. I wouldsay ok for the night if you're passing by. The lady in charge seemsvery nice but the man really hasn't got a clue of what he'sdoing. Could be much better.
Review 18:Tents not very well equipped against moskitoes.
Review 19:Very friendly and efficient staff. Cosy and comfy "safari tent", great location. Also profiting from facilities of neighbouring Stayokey hostel.
Review 20:It did not feel like camping in nature due to the stay ok and all the factories in the neighbourhood.
Review 21:The real beds and electricity in the tent.
Review 22:the peacefulness and tranquility. Friendliest people running the place, just lovely!
