Reviews for Hostal Las Brisas

Review 1:Super friendly hosting Couple! They really helped us with everything. The Hostel is located close to the Sea, Bars and Surfshops, but is also very quiet and cosy.

Review 2:Huanchaco is a very noisy town on the weekend, if you dont party then visit midweek, we liked the place.

Review 3:Great hosts, located one street back from busy main road and close to main tourist beach area and Chan Chan Ruin, Very nice hotel.

Review 4:After trying out another hotel and then searching for another accomadation we were so lucky to find this one. It is so beautiful with a little courtyard filled with plants and a terrace on the secound floor. The sound of the sea soothing you into a sleep. It is clean and to top the whole place off there are two very lovely people running it. The lady was extremely helpful giving us directions to chan chan giving me a charger to charge my iPad and letting me keep it when I left! Although she spoke little English she got out her translate and we interacted very well. Very very satisfying two nights.

Review 5:Not enough water to have a shower Generally not very clean. The bed had lots of dead insects on it - I ended up using my sleeping bag

Review 6:Nice juice at breakfast

Review 7:WiFi is really poor to non-existent in rooms, accessible only in the lobby

Review 8:Located next to the ocean (not the best beach around but still a good place to sunbathe) and to the Rivera where all the main restaurants and surf stations are, family-run, nice and friendly owners (although non-English speakers), hot water

Review 9:The room was very basic, but did have a tv. I would have like the washroom a bit cleaner.

Review 10:It was a family run business and they were friendly and helpful. The courtyard was pleasant to sit in.

Review 11:Quick confirmation. Despite arriving late, the couple running the place were really hospitable. They even gave us a free upgrade to one of the other rooms with a fan because they didn't like the idea of us feeding the mosquitoes if we opened the window for the breeze. They stayed up late to open the door for us when we ventured out again to explore Huanchaco's nightlife. Woke up to freshly made strawberry and papaya juice and had a lovely chat with one of the owner. Will definitely stay here again!

Review 12:The couple that runs this property are two of the niecest, most genuine people you will ever meet. I had an amazing time, thank you!!

Review 13:Breakfast was very minimal.

Review 14:The staff (owners) are exceptional. Extremely helpful with anything and everything. The service is top notch.

Review 15:Nothing.
