Review 1：Breakfast buffet items not replenished even at 9:00 when supposed to be brunch . Although the bar is next to the pool area it was not open during the day. I was told the barman didn't come on until 19:00, unfortunate if you fancy a refreshment while sunbathing.

Review 2：Spotlessly clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff .Near to good beach. Good parking next to hotel and only 10 minutes walk along the coast road to the lovely old town.

Review 3：The room was of sufficient size, but thank goodness for the balcony. It was a good walk into town, with very few facilities nearby, no restaurant, the bar closed early, and was almost always empty. The attitude of the owner was cool at best, but when we requested an early check out, her behaviour was reproachable. We remain very aggrieved with both the hotel owner and booking.com for the charge of three nights stay that were not used, especially with our continued stay being at another booking.com hotel

Review 17：Incredibly small tightly spaced room which although stylishly furnished was so cramped that if someone used the desk/table in the double room the partner had to use the bed to cross the room. Like wise the bathrrom had a beautiful double shower but getting in to it was a tight squeeze as the floor space was really limited.

Review 19：The hotel needs to be more diligent in informing guests who use the hotel car park of the requirement to move their car on the night before the fortnightly market. It cost me €50 when my car was towed away from the car park and clamped by police because I was not aware of the requirement.

Review 20：Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff, parking and just opposite a lovely beach. Short walk to the beautiful Vieste old town centre. The brunch buffet provided a perfect example of local Italian organisation and flair. The Sunday morning sushi special was particularly interesting.

Review 26：This was a really nice, modern hotel, stylish but not pretentious. Our room had a balcony and a sea view. It also had a 'porthole' feature above the bed which gave a slightly different and secondry view of the sea. The staff were especially pleasant and helpful, especially Luigi who was always on hand to offer advice or information. The breakfast was superb and having breakfast on a sun-kissed roof terrace will be a lasting memory!

Review 77：Friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast and nice, modern & clean rooms. The hotel is ideal for the beach (Spiaggia di San Lorenzo), which is only 3 minutes walking distance away. Getting into downtown Vieste takes 10-15 minutes, but it’s not an unpleasant walk. The use of the hotel bicycles is free. We’d definitively go there again!

Review 78：Altough staff is friendly there where a couple of let downs, they hardly any English, not expected in a 4 star hotel. Had to ask for towels because there where no towels delivered. Neighbours were playing loud music on balcony, staff knocked on door, after no reaction they did nothing more. Everyday staff kept asking when our checkout date was. As experienced travellers we never experienced this before. A day before our last day they called us in our room if we could pay that very night. Very strange.... Tax had to be payed in cash, also very strange. Beach was 10 euros for 4 days but tried to charge us 40 euros at check out. Unprofessional staff, family kept coming in and out, hanging out at the entrance. Swimming pool is tiny, very cold because there is no sun. Setting is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Vieste, for us this was no problem. Setting of hotel is in a not very inspired part of Vieste with quite a lot of non finished hotels.

Review 81：It's unfortunate that such a lovely hotel is in such a typical,sprawling seaside town. The Italians really do know how to fill a placeup in summer, seemingly undettered by the cheek by jowl nature of their'retreat'. I like my holiday to be a chance to get away from it all; inVieste I found 'it all' had got away to my holiday. The beaches, thetown, the cafes and the mediocre restaurants were all rammed full ofnut brown people of various shapes, sporting multiple offerings oftattoos. If it weren't for the lack of clothing and balmy evenings Icould have mistaken Vieste for Leicester Square or Oxford Circus. Ireally wasn't bothered by the 'unromantic' walk through the car park tothe sea front, (as one other reviewer described it) If you're in Viesteyou really haven't gone there for the romance. There's only criticism Ican level at the hotel, "the rooms are made for one" according to my 6foot 3 husband. I was fine with their size but I'm 5'5. For him, thebathroom was too small and he couldn't fit comfortably on the loo. Ihate to criticise this hotel but you need to know this information ifone of you is tall.

An amazing range of foods of all types and it seemingly wenton forever, my husband was going up at 11:15 and they were stillserving! The staff were excellent. They were so helpful and patient,particularly with our two small children. The bar area is gorgeous andhas a very welcome chess set and book collection. The design of thehotel modern and very elegant. The pool is gorgeous, turning into ajaccuzzi at the touch of a button. It's not suitable for seriousswimming though. They also have a treadmill and weights machine that Iwas grateful for.
