Review 9：Very limited parking possibilities - only 3 places for parking next to hotel. Be careful with staff advice to park at parking places on the street or be 100 % sure that you got very clear directions where to park. Even if you were assisted by specifying the place on the map next day the staff might deny their advice. In case you will park not in the right place and get the fine, it will be your problem not theirs. Parking charges may vary depending on the mood of the staff as well. Very unpleasant experience.

Review 11：Ok there could be improvements, the signs to our room, circling thehotel instead of the far shorter trip against the sign. The room servicemenu is only for 1 of 3 restaurants in the hotel. (Ask for the othermenus.) I didn't ask how to work the heat, and I should have, maybeit would have helped. Too much heat but windows opened. And lovelyradiator heat. I don't know if this is all of Poland but tv wasuseless, especially for children. Another possibly universal Polishissue was overly complicated food on the menu. Fair enough, I could haveordered a salad.

Review 12：This was truly a grand hotel. Our first time in Poland. We only left thehotel once. I want to go back and I want to stay here again, it was soold world luxury- huge high ceiling room, lovely view, heated marblefloors in the sumptuous bathroom. (Really, sumptuous.) Fab toiletries,and the spa was fabulous. Great apples at the front desk, lovelycappuccino in the cafe... The staff was very helpful organizingtransportation by email from Warsaw. It made us feel special.

Review 15：Upon arrival you will receive a warm welcome and be spoken to in your preferred language, this will continue throughout your stay. Staff were very friendly and always had a smile. Rooms were immaculate, as well as all the furnishings throughout the hotel. The location is great, the castle is ten minutes away and the shops are practically on the door step.

Review 23：I didn't mind bringing my laptop to the front desk to be stored in the safe when I left, but perhaps safes wouldn't go amiss in the rooms themselves. Having said that, I can see that individual safes may be expensive. I really enjoyed breakfast, but given the weather I would have appreciated a hot option too, and a wider selection - the restaurant menu should be applicable to room service as well. Please also consider a shelf for toiletries; I had to set mine on the floor because there wasn't enough room on the sink.

Review 24：The hotel itself is imposing on the outside and beautiful on the inside; what you see with the photos here IS what you get, and it's breathtaking. I loved the central location - one only has to turn right outside the hotel and continue straight for 10-20 minutes before one reaches the brama Krakowska and a wonderful little nalesniki place... walk through the gate and it will lead you to the Jewish Quarter. The central location is amazing and made my research easy to conduct, the staff were highly efficient and very pleasant - even when I checked in with the wonderful Katarzyna, and I couldn't preauthorise my stay then and there, she didn't bat an eyelid. There was a good array of TV stations, including RT, Rossiya 24, and the German version of Comedy Central (although I really don't understand Trwam!), and the helpfulness of the front desk staff when I needed anything was exceptional; even with small things like not having toilet roll in the bathroom by accident. The bed was THE most comfortable bed I seem to have slept in to date, and the bathroom and shower were exactly how a disabled bathroom should be - spacious and comfortable if one is showering. I especially appreciated the flip seat nailed to the wall (that's how it should be done), and the heated floor was lovely, but I had no idea how to work it! I also enjoyed breakfast (had to get room service for the time I was there). Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Review 40：I was actually born in the building and lived in it the first 8 years of my life. They lated renovated and changed the building into a luxury hotel. Our room was almost right where my childhood apartment was, and the stay brought back many memories, nostalgic feelings and i truly enjoyed it. Location is perfect, smack in the centre of Lublin with easy walking distance to everything. Wifi is great and fast, hotel is quiet and very nicely decorated, staff was very nice, and breakfast was very good.

Review 96：The hairdryer is a bit poor. I last stayed in the Grand 8 years ago, during which time i had the best Bloody Mary I've ever tried - made from fresh tomato juice no less! this time, I ordered it and regretted it immediately. The barman was incapable of fixing cocktails, which was a shame. Plus, the piano in the lobby is out of key. That really is the extent of my complaints - i.e., nothing of serious note. This is a great hotel, and one with character and charm in abundance. I recommend it to all.

Review 97：Brilliant stay. Where to begin? The place looks beautiful, a proper grand hotel in every sense of the name and a real departure from the faceless chains to which I'm more accustomed. From the moment we checked in, with the amazing Katarzyna at reception, I knew it would be a good stay. I was travelling with a group of friends for what can only be termed as a drinking break, so we chose economy rooms. Amazing deals, I've stayed in Polish 5 stars that are far smaller and far more basic. Great mini-bar, and a room that was anything but generic. Everything about the Grand contributed to a really fun stay in a brilliant and underrated city.
