Review 1：The only negative comment would be the closure of all activities from 1-4.

Review 2：The Resort was the perfect family holiday. The activities were well run and the staff ensured that everyone that wanted to take part could. Resort staff in all areas including reception, restaurants, cleaning, activities were extremely friendly and helpful. Our two teenagers played footie, basketball, beach volleyball, kayaking, as well as lots of fun 'hanging out' in a safe environment.

Review 3：We were full board in the resort, and all the food came from the ONLY restaurant in the hotel at meal times. There wasn't really anything else during other times of the day. This was a little restrictive as sometimes you wanted a sandwich, or a snack whilst on the beach there was only a bar on the beach front which sold ice creams. There are other restaurants around but you need a car to get around. But it was fine and the food was okay in the restaurant. The were very accommodating for the children and made whatever you wanted (except pizza!) for the kids. That was good as they were a little fussy some of the time. By far the best thing about the resort was the energy and activities organised by the staff for the children. Every day from 8am to midnight there was thing to do. From activities on the beach to a huge playground for the kids to dancing and music at night. It was fantastic. The staff were wonderful with the children and this really is a family resort. If you want a quiet romantic break then come here out of season, but still be prepared for kids around the place. For us it was perfect and we had a great time. Vieste the nearest town is 4km and should definitely be visited. It is lovely and we had amazing food there. All in this was lovely holiday and just what we wanted. The staff are opening to more international travellers, but be 0prepared for a very Italian holiday. They was very helpful with all our requests, from translating the menu to providing and iron (apparently not something they had EVER been asked for before!) Most staff do not speak english very well, but they are always try and direct you to someone who can help.

Review 4：We stayed at the Gattarella resort over the June half term 2012 and it was amazing. We were there with our two young children (4 and 2) and they had the best time. Lets start at the beginning. The drive to the resort is stunning around the coast from Bari. It took us around 2.5 hrs but we took our time. The views are amazing along the coast and when you think it can't get more stunning you go round the next bend and it is! At the resort we were in the 'hotel' part of the resort, in a Junior Suite. This was sufficient for all of us, though you can also have an extra bed in the room. I would recommend the Junior Suite over the Family room as it is very close to the beach, and the rooms are big enough for 4 people. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the beach, and it was a short (but steep!) walk down to the beach. In early June the resort is quiet as most of the Italians are not on holiday yet. This is very much and Italian resort, with around 95% of the guests from Italy. A large portion of the resort is self-catering apartment, however when the resort is quiet the self catering facilities are not all available.

The Fine Print

The resort fee is a Club Card which includes access to the beach, swimming pool, and several leisure activities and sports facilities. This fee is not payable for adults aged 65 and older.A security deposit of EUR 50 is required upon arrival for incidental charges. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
