Hôtel Continental sells fast on our site. In front of Gave de Pau River, 300 feet from the sanctuaries and 700 feet from Basilica of St. Pius X, this hotel has views of the city and offers stylish rooms.

Review 1：December is not a good month to go to Lourdes, so quite and not many restaurants open.

Review 2：I like it because it's not expensive but very close to the Lourdes Sanctuary. The staff was very helpful and the breakfasts were ok.

Review 5：The hotel bar does not serve alcohol. It is not a big deal but it is nice to be able to have a drink in your own hotel, especially as a woman travelling alone.

Review 6：This hotel was perfectly situated literally 2 minutes from the Sanctuary. I could pop back to the hotel whenever I needed the bathroom or to fetch something. I also had a view of the river and the distant peaks of the Pyrenees from my room. The room was small but it was clean and warm (I was there in December). The recepton staff were friendly and could speak English.

Review 7：The hotel is located very near the sanctuaries. There are good cafes in the area and also shops for souvenier shopping. The staff are very, very helpful.

Review 13：Our stay here was very pleasing. The staff were helpful and friendly with whom we were easily able to communicate with in English. What we requested from our room was what we expected. It was very clean and tidy with cleaners coming in regularly to ensure our room remained pristine. The breakfast was also excellent with a variety of foods that we could select from. This was tipped by its excellent location, with only a few minute walk to the Sanctuaries. I personally would recommend staying here for anyone who is planning on visiting Lourdes.

Review 14：Yes. I am very glad to have very helpful staff who guide me all along. Even to helping me to book cab as this is my very first time in Lourdes! They are simply marvelous and excellent!!!

Review 16：The hotel was literally a 5 minute walk to the Sanctuary. The location allowed us to go back to the hotel to rest before the evening rosary. The room was spacious, comfortable for the three of us.

Review 18：The location is one of the reasons I chose to stay in Hotel Continental. I volunter in Marie St Frai and the hotel is just across from it. The rooms have been refurbished and looks really nice. I have stayed here for 5 years and will come back again. It is also very close to the grotto.

Review 19：No wardrobe rail in our room. Unable to hang up clothes. When asked reception, told the room rate excluded a wardrobe!!!!! No iron in room.

Review 22：Actually we were upgraded to Hotel Solitude. So I'm actually ratingHotel Solitude. Staff were courteous and it was comforting to knowthere's a Filipino ( Vanessa) in the check in counter. The hotel wasbusy. And within walking distance to the sanctuaries. And there werenearby cafes outside. It was a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Review 23：Requested a walk-in shower which we got but with no shower screen around the tray it is impossible not to wet the floor thus making conditions more dangerous

Review 41：The place is very near St Cirq Lapopie but you should have a car since the free shuttle is only available during dinner. It is a perfect place. We were in awe! The staffs and the owner are very nice people always willing to help.

Review 42：Very difficult to find due to the other displays from shops and hotels. Their sign is very small and we passed it twice. Our room was like a box cupboard, very "bijou" to say the least. Stupid really as they had other much larger rooms free but gave us a tiny room. Apparently had we complained they would have moved us!!

Review 48：The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a room that was overlooking the street. It was on the first floor so I could walk up a flight of stairs and didn't have to wait for an elevator all the time.

Review 50：I previously stayed with 2 others in a triple room. I found the size of the triple room good. However this time I shared with 1 other in a twin. I found it to be quite small. (Minor negative though) My roommate had a bad experience when checking in. The woman on the front desk was quite abrupt, unhelpful and somewhat rude. The staff the rest of the week were very pleasant.

Review 51：The location of this hotel is superb in relation to it's proximity to the sanctuaries. I didn't spend much time in the hotel so my needs were few. It catered well for these basic needs. I didn't have any meals in the hotel. Our room was at the back of the hotel so was quiet.

Review 52：There was no mirror in the room. The only mirror was in the toilet/bathroom and since we had a triple room, if the toilet was occupied, the others had to wait to use the mirror.

Review 57：Only a few minutes to Sanctuary. Good restaurants and shops are near by. All staff were very friendly and kind. Unfortunately I had an accident on my way to Lourdes and needed a wheelchair. Staff named Aurelie kindly assisted me and took good care of everything what I needed. I had a wonderful stay more than I have expected.

Review 59：Staff. Vinuales hotel group stands above the rest because of its staff. Staff across all vinuales hotels in lourdes go above and beyond to assist people staying at their hotels. the staff at continental were fantastic, friendly, very very helpful. We had a personal crisis and they were so good in assisting and this was fantastic.

Review 60：We were given a free upgrade and stayed at Hotel Solitude which is located at the back of Hotel Continental. Both hotels are owned by the same company. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful especially Dominique.The staff speaks English.The ground floor restaurant is reasonably priced and serves delicious food. The hotel is very close to the Grotto and the Basilica. Souvenir shops and eateries are also steps away.

Review 66：I loved my stay in Lourdes this year, the staff in the hotel were extremly welcoming and friendly, they always chatted when able to, very pleasant. A big thanks for making me feel comfortable and safe. The room was everything a tired stagiere would wish for after some extremely long shifts at the airport and train station. Also the breakfast times were ideal for most early starts (except those in the middle of the night). I had a wonderful time, the location was superb and hope to stay with you next year

I heard no noise from outside The location for the grotto is great only a 4 minute walk.
