Reviews for Posada de las Flores Loreto
Review 1:It was all absolutely fabulous.
Review 2:The building is beautiful from the outside but once inside it is even more lovely. There is a roof top swimming pool, the floor of which is the glass tiled ceiling of the lobby. Just this alone is worth the trip all the way to Loreto. The room is spacious, the bathroom and dressing area pretty with old fashioned Mexican tiles on the counters and walls. It really feels like staying at someone's fancy home. Breakfast is wonderful. They have Frette linens on the bed and Frette robes for the pool, how luxurious is that? So happy we stayed here. Excellent views from the roof terrace, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Review 3:First room was tiny without window to outside. Manager wanted more money to change rooms and insisted room charges be paid in advance. Expensive.
Review 4:Good location. Beautiful property.
Review 5:These 2 points are opportunities for improvemenet, but even without them I still give this hotel a 10!... I just LOVED Posada de Las Flores. 1.The TV is the room was very outdated, but you don't come to Loreto to watch TV, so it's just a small observation. 2.They used to have a restaurant at the Hotel's rooftop, but now it's only open for complimentary continental breakfast.... It would have been nice if they re-opened for lunch, dinner or bar. We ended up buying our own drinks at a local store and enjoying them on the terrace and also dining at the great little eateries at the plaza...so Again this point is just an opportunity.... We will come back to Loreto every year and Posada is our number 1 choice.
Review 6:I loved its location, it's on the middle of the plaza and walking distance to the Mission, shops, restaurants and Malecon. The decor is simply superb, they pay attention to every single detail The rooftop pool offers amazing views and they also have a large rooftop terrace, where you can bring your own food and drinks from the restaurants around. The hotel is very clean and offers great air conditioning in the room. The bed is firm and comfortable.
Review 7:The hotel is in very poor overall conditions, clearly no maintenance is being done. Rooms were dirty, we had to change 4 rooms to find a decent one. No hot water was available then. Fake air conditioning, Wifi not working in the rooms. Very poor breakfast.
Review 8:The building
Review 9:Very friendly staff. Keep in mind that a Posada is a renovated building with respect for the character of the building. So your room might not be 100% rumourless, etc... It was a magnificient stay. The breakfast is authentic with excellent fruit yohourt. So excellent stay where we felt at home but were luckily not @ home.
Review 10:The small rooms were very dark and cramped. We switched to a suite and had a lovely large room which was a pleasure to be in during the heat of the day, but very expensive for a place in Mexico. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day. Would really be improved if the bar would reopen.
Review 11:The building and rooms were beautiful. All was kept very clean. Staff was helpful with all of our questions. Large rooms very pleasant place to hang out.
Review 12:The service was very poor. The suites we booked was not suites as shown in the website, but just little rooms with on chair and bed. When asking to change to a standard room because the rooms did not match international standard of suites, we were informed that this was impossible because we had used booking.com. They advised us to not use booking.com if we wanted flexibility. All in all very expensive hotel with poor value for the money. Pool area has a very small pool and only four sunbeds. The bar was never open during our weekend there.
Review 13:It was a beautiful old hotel in very well maintained classic mexican style, and the rooms were very nice.
Review 14:The room was quite warm and no working air conditioner. The mattress could have been better.
Review 15:There were two helpful staff--one on the late afternoon shift and one on the morning shift--that spoke English well and could make very helpful suggestions.
Review 16:Great staff, great location!
Review 17:Rooms could have used more lighting for reading Like bar soap not soap dispensers in shower which did not work well.
Review 18:Great ambiance Attentive and helpful staff Friendly and tranquil town.
Review 19:the breakfast process is a bit cumbersome since you need to be served. A continental buffet might be easier.
Review 20:everything in the hotel was really nice, clean, well designed.
Review 21:Nothing
Review 22:Very charming and wonderful ambiance.
