Reviews for Apartments Le Terrazze

Review 1:the address to check in is wrong! hotel should have informed me in advance that we need to call to get the key bad sheet not that clean; no wifi!

Review 2:great location some sea view, new aparement

Review 3:The kettle and hairdryer couldn't be used as they didn't fit in the power points and the shower was very small, but manageable.

Review 4:Easy short walk uphill from centre of town but much quieter. No stairs to climb to reach the apartment, there was a lift to use. Plenty of space in bedroom and a comfortable bed.

Review 5:I paid for a 3 bedroom apt. The 3rd bedroom was a sleeper sofa in the living room area.

Review 6:The location is perfect. Just a short walk from train station and a quick walk to the Meditarian Sea. The town's people were friendly. It was a much needed break from all the crowded big cities. I would stay there again. It is very beautiful and Italian there. Transportation was easy.

Review 7:Sleeping areas (curtained off rather than rooms with a door) were up about 18" from the level of the living area and were under a sloping roof. I am only just over 5' tall but could only stand up in the first 2' or so of the room, so if you're tall this probably isn't the property for you! Also the sleeping areas did not have a proper light (just a lamp plugged into a socket at floor level) and so were rather dark (no windows either). Having been told that we would be charged for an earlier check-in we advised the property that we would arrive at 2pm to avoid this charge. We were then kept waiting until after 3.30pm for someone to come and let us in, which was frustrating as we wanted to start walking some of the trails whilst it wasn't raining.

Review 8:Good location (quiet) and clean.

Review 9:corners were rather dusty, especially in the rooms with the slanted eaves. shower was a right squeeze even for petite Asian girls.

Review 10:staff were nice and helpful. rooms were nice and modern, air-con and hot water worked well. location was fantastic with a great restaurant just downstairs and minutes from the train station. it was also great that there was a lift as we were on the top floor.

Review 11:The bed room is only 4 feet in height, which wasn't showed on pictures. hidden fees charged on us, location is very far from beach.

Review 12:staff is nice

Review 13:The acoustic could be better, can hear the neighbors around.

Review 14:Very nice staff at check in and probably the best location being close to one of the City's best restaurants, train station, postal office, and laundry mat. Away from the noisy part of town.

Review 15:Noisy at night and early morning. Air conditioning fixed only towardsend of our stay. Dishwasher broken. Outside light does not work, grassovergrown and outside space not usable in the evenings due to lack oflight. Not well equipped for self catering though they did get us someknives as all kitchen knives missing when we arrived. Apartment lookedafter by young people who lack customer care skills.eg not telling usabout broken dishwasher or light when we arrived, not informing us byemail that air con repair would take place early one morning.

Review 16:Good location in Vernazza. Lift was useful. Good to have the space of 2rooms as most options in the village are an expensive one bedroom only.Il Pirate cafe was excellent, close by for great meals and thehospitality of the twin owners who were very helpful to us. Overallprice we paid made us happy with the choice but do not expect highstandards here.

Review 17:Firstly, if I had read the previous review from Anthony I of not havebooked. There was no flat screen tv: The air con was not working, thedishwasher was not working, the wifi was very poor, it was so hot we hadto sleep with the windows open so all three of my guests and I werecovered in insect bites. Once we had figured out the advertisedfacilities were not working we tried to contact the host which did notanswer any phone calls but then emailed back to let me know the ownerwould be in contact which they never did. We had booked a parking spotwhich was unavailble on the day of check-in. The directions to the hoteland hand over of keys were very unclear and frustrating. Do not stayhere unless you want to be disappointed.

Review 18:The location of Vernazza

Review 19:One sofa bed , not comfortable Not at all helpfull staff Becarefull with the extra charge of the delay check-in " From 6 am to 7 will be be a surcharge of 10 Euros. From 7 to 9 hours will be a surcharge of 20 €. From 9 to 10 hours will be a surcharge of 30 €. After 10 am will be be a surcharge of 50 Euros."

Review 20:Good Location

Review 21:This was easily the worst accomodation experience and poor value formoney I've personally come across, and I travel for a living. Icannot recommend not staying here enough. To start with, theinstructions on finding the guy to get into the apartments wereterrible, and we spent two hours in the heat trying to do so. The guyspoke terrible English and was no help whatsoever. The apartment is in abuilding that looks like a construction zone. Nothing worked in theapartment, including the air conditioning, which meant we had to use asmall dirty fan to stay cool. The dishwasher didn't work either. There was no tv, no washing machine, no iron... Basically no facilities, and for this kind of money, it just isn't good enough. The wifi kindworked after I played with it for a half hour. Stay elsewhere, thisplace sucks!

Review 22:Great location.

Review 23:The double beds are in the rooftop, which is very tight, you always bump your head into the ceiling.

Review 24:Very good location, two minutes walk to Vernazza center. Nice view from the terrace.

Review 25:Extra bedroom had no AC so it was stuffy and hot. The kids moved to the open sofa in the living room as they couldn't fall asleep there. Just keep in mind that the owner/staff are not on premises and we had to wait 40 minutes until the guy arrived to give us the room keys and open the parking gate (he came on a train from another village) so we almost got a parking ticket since its a restricted parking zone for residents only.

Review 26:Very clean and neat. Great location. Has parking. Good communication with owner. Private terrace and large rooms and beds. Well equipped kitchen.

Review 27:I would recommend that you do not bring a car into town, use the train. We brought a van and got stuck in the parking garage...took a few tries to get out. Regular car would fit but not a van. Again, the garage was a must.

Review 28:The location to the town center of Vernazza was 5 minute walk. The property was very nice. It had a parking garage for $20 per night...you need to rent the space as all spaces in the area are for residents only.

Review 29:Not that clean - spider web seen at corners and you can feel some dust when you walk in the apartment barefoot. Shower space unacceptably small - literally 2ft x 2 ft! Even a petite asian woman like me finds it hard to move inside. Hot water of shower comes from a reservoir type water heater hanging at the ceiling of bathroom - barely enough hot water for one to complete a comfortable shower on (long) hair and body. Booking.com says there is TV, but turns out there wasn't one.

Review 30:Location - just a short way up (not steep) from train station; quiet and yet convenient (given the small size of Vernazza; just 2 min walk to beach at most). A new property. Spacious for just the 2 of us. A spacious patio (tho one would rather sit next to the rocky beach to relax).

Review 31:Nothing to complain... :)

Review 32:In very short words - excellent place by all means. We stayed only for 1 day, but that was enough, other 12 days we rented a much bigger stand-alone house close to Portovenere, but by comparison this apartment in Vernazza was way better and we wish we could have turned back time and swapped places, this one in Vernazza was just so good... What stands out here is all the modern-day comforts that this place offers, it's probably the only modern apartment/hotel in Vernazza, not everywhere else in Cinque Terre you'd get this... So if you look for a working A/C, wifi, clean rooms and kitchen, comfy beds etc. then this is the place. Also location is very good, just on the entrance to Vernazza, still only 5 mins walk to everything. We got a nice apartment with a big terrace, everything perfect and convenient. There is also a parking lot in the garage (we didn't need it though...), bar in the building right next door serving breakfasts, the check-in is easy and convenient, they also allow small dogs. All-in-all excellent place and we hope to be back there soon....

Review 33:Checkout is at 10am. 11am or later would be more reasonable.

Review 34:Size of the unit, the deck/patio, cleanliness, and the kitchen. We appreciated that we could leave our luggage with the unit manager through the day, while exploring the other villages.

Review 35:Funny bedrooms in mezzanine area with sloping ceiling so couldn't stand up and only table lamp for lighting in bedrooms. Tiny shower that didn't drain properly although bathroom very large and modern.

Review 36:Good location away from main street so much quieter - easy walk from train with suitcases. Lovely outlook onto gardens and stream. Peak of water from deck. Spacious living area with deck and open- plan kitchen. Laundromat close by unit. Lift to unit accessible through car park.

Review 37:Not enough cooking utensils no spatula carving knife or vegetable peeler.but had 3 sets of scissors??Not clear how to contact the owner. Cooktop stopped working didnt know where switchbox was.

Review 38:Key pickup was easy near station. Close to station resturants shops.

Review 39:Cleaning lady left the air-conditioning on 30 degrees celsius so when we entered the apartment in the evening, it was awfully hot inside. Not enough cooking utensils, not even one small pot to warm up milk. Cleaning fee way to expensive! Paid parking possible, but very hard to enter or exit garage without ruining your car. Never have I seen such a narrow and bad garage entry. We have bumped our car.

Review 40:Location

Review 41:This is a studio appt with two sleeping loft areas with curtains so no real doors. Not an issue for us. We did not get parking spot which would have great. Walk to car at public parking area was half mile uphill so we backpacked in

Review 42:Can see sea. Lots of room for four adults with 2 double beds and foldout couch.

Review 43:Checking in was not quick, due to lack of instructions. Once we got ahold of person check in was easy. Parking spot was very small. Mid size car barely fits. Don't drive there, take the train instead.

Review 44:Good location and nice apartment.

Review 45:The only suggestion: the kitchen utensils would need some improvement, a cooking-pot and some kitchen knives for bread and vegetables were still missing.

Review 46:New building, newly furnished big, clean and very pleasant apartment with big private patio looking to the hills, quiet neighborhood, elevator in house. The house is located on the main street, in just 5 minutes walking distance from the railway station and from the center, not steep, means 5 minutes walking for elderly people with baggage. There is a nice restaurant next door, together with a laundry and a bank. We asked in an e-mail sent via booking.com in before how to get the keys, so it was no problem. We received the keys in a shop, just across the railway station and one of the young ladies was so kind to see us to the apartment.

Review 47:So call penthouse !!! They lie !!! It's sleeping in the attic , I'm only 5'6 I can't even standup in the bedrooms ,had to clawed ionic the bed from the bedroom entrance which has some cheap drapes not even a door , in front of the Entrance is a small cabinet which you use as step to jump into the room

Review 48:Only like the location and elevator

Review 49:The apartment had a balcony that a small amount of water could be seen. It was very nice to sit out in the afternoon after a long day walking and relax.

Review 50:small water heater for 4 people

Review 51:Great view, great location, lots of space. Great restaurant right next door with wonderful hosts and food. Nice to have a parking space also - they are very valuable in Vernazza.

Review 52:1) The key exchange - but mainly because this was our first visit to Cinque Terre, so finding the pick up point was a bit tricky. 2) The WiFi was pretty strong the first night but didn't work at all the second night. 3) The sleeping space - the penthouse doesn't have a private bedroom but rather a bed behind a curtain.

Review 53:Gorgeous boutique apartment in the heart of the action! The modern interior and exterior are exactly as pictured. And from the penthouse you can catch a glimpse of the sea from your private balcony. There's also onsite parking - which is a rare find in Vernazza.

Review 54:There were not enough blankets for the four of us. My children slept wearing their pullovers. The apparment was at the last floor and the two bedrooms were under the slanded roof. So we were not able to stand up

Review 55:The location was very good. It was at the entrance of the village and it has private parking (20 euros per day) and elevator. So we did't have to carry our luggages. Modern furniture.

Review 56:Three small, white lizards found their way into the apartment despite the doors and windows being closed. Having said this, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Review 57:The apartment is located up behind the train station, away from both the train and the tourist center of Vernazza. It has an outdoor patio (no sea view) and is a good choice for couples looking for some privacy or small families wanting space. Highly recommended.

Review 58:Great location! Apartment was very clean and host very friendly and helpful.

Review 59:The apartment is beautiful! We truly enjoyed the experience.

Review 60:No airconditioming in one of the bedrooms. Didn't find plug in fan until we were leaving.

Review 61:Location. Good welcome.

Review 62:Ventilation not good at penthouse apartment bedrooms

Review 63:Nothing!

Review 64:Brilliant, couldn't fault it whatsoever! Location amazing very clean lovely outdoor area
