Review 1：Overall, the facility was sorely lacking. We did not even have a cake of soap. There was no telephone in the room. There was no elevator. The room was small and cramped, and had very poor lighting. There was no effort to enhance the room at all--not one picture on the walls. Additionally, the breakfast was very, very poor, and certainly not like any breakfast we have ever had in an Austrian hotel. We have stayed at many three-star hotels in Germany and Austria, and this property definitely does not rate three stars.

The hotel had a nice friendly atmosphere, and it was located in a beautiful spot, right on a picturesque little lake where you can bathe, and nearby some beautiful mountains. At night it was very quiet and easy to sleep. It is clean, well equipped with a bar/restaurant open till late, a sauna and all necessary facilities.

Review 32：The weather is something we cannot control and so it rained the whole time we were in Villach which of course stopped most of our enjoyment. The other irk is the smoking even in the breakfast room, perhaps by the lady who ran the restaurant but it was horrid especially on an empty stomach. Are they mad, don't they know what is does to their health!! Other than that it is a super hotel and the reception staff were lovely.

Review 33：the fact it was on a lake you could swim in the lake and they had sauna amenities The bedrooms were very clean and tidy with a good bed. The location was only 15 mins out of town by foot until we picked up our car. As Villach is near the border of Italy and Slovenia it is easy to drive there for the day. How good is that!!

Review 34：There is a disco with loud music at the same building that runs everyday and was particularly bad on Saturday, up until 5am and made itimpossible to sleep without ear plugs. There was absolutely no warningfrom the hotel staff when I was checking in.The internet was not working for the 2 days I stayed.

Review 36：There's one thing which was unacceptable: during my one night stay onSaturday there was a party in the bar untill 5 o'clock. And although Iwas on the 2nd floor I could not sleep. I was on a long drive trip andstayed there to rest and sleep, which apeared to be impossible. Besidesit could be a perfectly normal b&B. Other minus was interior design,reception looks very old, which is not very relevant to your stay, butthere were no room decorations either and furniture looks pretty old andcheap. Also no fridge and safety box, but on a plus a lcd tv. Internetpaid and should be free since it is not a business hotel.
