Located inside the Ishiuchi Ski Resort, Lodge Nakatoshi features free Wi-Fi and ski-in ski-out access. The shared public bath is available for 24 hours. Ishiuchi, Echigo-yuzawa and Gala Yuzawa train stations are all within a 15-minute drive, and free pick-up shuttles are offered when requested at time of booking.
Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each Japanese-style room comes with a low table and a TV. Bathroom and toilets are shared with other guests.
Guests at Nakatoshi Lodge can leave their luggage or ski equipment in the storage. Drinks vending machine is available on site.

Review 2：2nd time there in summer, outside ski season, a great place to unwind with very nice hosts. The breakfast was excellent. DInner the first time was great. sadly I had no time left to try this time. Warmly recommended, i will be back again...
Review 3：It's not close to train station but free shuttle service can be arranged. Common bath area is not impressive, hot bath wasn't available.

Review 5：facilities are basic but it has everything you need during your stay. Traditional Japanese inn. Shared toilets. Bathroom is Japanese style that here is no compartments. Heating is available in bedrooms and at dining room, but not in other places. Have drying room and storage place for ski gears. Very near to ski sites with 3min walk. 10min walk to a supermarket. They offer pick up from train stations. The host speaks a little English.
Review 6：It is shared washroom. And, not too many available. One in each floor. If too many guest, could be problem. But we were there in low season so it is ok.
Review 7：a few nice restaurant and a supermarket in short walking distance. Close by chair lift for ski/ snowboarding. Can buy discount lift ticket from owner. Owner senior lady took good care of us. Speak enough good English.

Review 9：The location is good, price is reasonable, room is big and clean, food is very nice. The staff is very kind, helpful, and friendly. They took me around and share me stories about the local people. It's a pleasant stay.
Review 10：1. The room heater doesn't work on day-time. 2. The noise from snowplough machine under the window at 6:00-6:15 was very annoying.
Review 11：1. Location. Just 5 min walking to the central entrance of Ishiuchi Ski Resort 2. Room. The real tatami room without any posh elements. 3. Facilities. The Japanese bath on site with 24h access is a fantastic experience. Especially after spending all day on the slopes.
Review 12：Traditional Japanese guesthouse, room was warm and cosy. The host is a very friendly and lovely lady. Lodge is close to the ski lift (2-3 minutes' walk)
