Review 1：Nothing . Everything was perfect

Review 2：The best hotel in town faultless. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world this has to be one of the best my SUPERIOR room was just that. And so inexpensive this hotel room would cost over £1000 per night in London

Review 3：They should give us two single beds because we were two men but they gave us one master bed. We explained the problem at the reception and the lady understood that we wanted one more room. After the discomfort to transfer our luggage to the other room, we realized that it had also one master bed. Finally, they separated the beds in the first room and they moved our luggage there - not big deal but we lost half hour. The comment below regarding the toilet seat was perfect! Toilet seat is for giants and I am 1.90 :)

Review 5：Grand Hotel Shumen is amazing ! We enjoyed our stay there. The staff is adorable and very helpful. We had a beautiful view on the great Monument of Shumen and the whole city. We also had a great room where we slept very well. The swimming-pool is also very pleasant.

Review 10：I had to fill the bathtub with the shower. There was no tap. The toilet seat was made for giants. My feet did not reach ground, and I am 6 ft tall.

Review 13：The hotel is located in the centre of Shumen, very close to the shopping street. The rooms are renovated and comfortable but the bathroom isn't. The breakfast was good. I recommend the restaurant "Panorama" on the last floor in the hotel.

Review 14：The hotel and rooms are very old, just partly renewed. I booked a superior room but it was quite noisy from the boulevard nearby, so I asked for another more quiet room. The receptionist told me that she can give me a lower class room but for the price of the superior.

Review 16：The hotel is a bit old and some floors are not working at all and look a bit spooky. Our floor was working and still the corridor had a very old carpet and looked warn out. Also there are rooms which are not renovated and still used. I do not know what is the principle when they chose them.

Review 17：Our room was modern and clean. Also very spacious and comfortable. Service was OK, staff was polite. Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi was working fine. The location is good, nearby the center and most rooms have a nice view.

Review 31：It was sometimes cold in the hotel, but our room was supplied with a back-up electric heater. Also the air conditioning unit in the rooms was quite noisy.

Review 40：I booked a room in Shumen hotel.When I arrived at the hotel the staff surprised us by giving us higher category because we had already made our reservation by booking.com.. The room was great, cosy, and calm. I visited the Panorama restaurant. I was surprised by the incredible view of the city, the Shumen’s fortress ,the monument 1300 years Bulgaria,and the Tombul mosque. The surprises kept to continue after they served us delicious specialities. The staff of the hotel was very kind and helpfull. With great pleasure I will stay at the Shumen hotel again.
