Reviews for Lisetta Rooms
Review 1:The rooms were located a short walk from the train station. The staff was very kind and offered to pick us up at the train station even though we arrived past midnight. Would recommend to anyone!
Review 2:We stayed in the detached outhouse/ garden shed. The main House itself looks very smart inside .. The "garden shed" is another matter!!!
Review 3:The double room is great, however the twin room is small and its bathroom is extremely tiny and wet. Wi-Fi signal is poor only in this room. Towels are permanently damp. Keep in mind that Lisetta rooms are located not at the place given on the map here (it was not an issue for us since the owner has sent us the instruction and picked us up at the railway station).
Review 4:Amazing location in the heart of Vernazza - the best place to live in 5 Terre. A well-equiped kitchen and a great terrace where you can eat everything you've cooked or bought. I highly recommend Vernazza for everyone who is planning to visit 5 Terre and haven't opted for a city to base.
Review 5:The bathroom in the 3rd room was not much, but since we had all three rooms, we just had them use a different bathroom.
Review 6:The apartments were in a great location, just off the main street in town. Perfect budget accommodations, clean and comfortable. The owner met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment, which was great, it would have been hard to find the first time otherwise.
Review 7:When we arrived we were told there had been a double booking and had to wait one hour to get into our room until the situation was resolved. The floors were dirty and dusty. We stayed two nights and the second day the room was not cleaned, bed was not made and we had to ask for clean towels. We had no idea how difficult it would be to get to the room, many difficult stairs winding up three floors. I have no idea how someone with physical limitations would have tolerated this climb. The mattress had no mattress cover, only a flimsy sheet, and was very lumpy and uncomfortable. I wished I would not have booked for two nights. There was a shared lanai which was cluttered with a wet couch and clothes racks with drying towels. There was more, but I think you get the picture. Most of the time no one was available for questions and we could not find anyone to check out. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!
Review 8:Nothing
Review 9:Owners are super friendly and although they don't dominate the English their sympathy is enough to make you feel at home. It's just at the center of the village!! 2 minutes to beach or train station. Fantastic!
Review 10:Hard to find, would be good if there were directions given.
Review 11:There was kitchen facilities, helpful lady, good windows to shut out the noise at night as it was on the main pedestrian access
Review 12:Not a lot of privacy if you keep the window open for airflow.
Review 13:Wonderful patio outside our room where you can chat with other travelers. Maybe a total of 3 rooms with Lisetta. You are staying at the home of the owners, and you feel immersed into the city life. While you don't have a view of the sea, you have a view of the main street through town.
Review 14:Very friendly staff, great location, beatiful balcony for a bottle of wine and takeaway pizza and a charming room with a fridge stove and everything you need. Didn't want to leave
Review 15:Too expensive for this kind of room. Did not look like the photos on this site. Stinky towels.
Review 16:Good location, right on the central road. Friendly owner. Nice terrace.
Review 17:Impossible to enter without first contacting the owner. Was a little difficult to find the entrance.
Review 18:Excellent location, brand new en suite bathroom. Plenty of outdoor furniture with a large terrace. Quite at night despite being on the Main Street.
Review 19:Very close to railway station. Owner very helpful - was happy to keep our suitcase for 12 hours after we checked out. Small but pleasant terrace. Nice tea and coffee provided, other cooking facilities good but we ate out. Room small but comfortable for a short break.
Review 20:Pretty small. Towels were musty when we got there, but when pointed out, Margherita gave us new ones and even did laundry for us. Shower was very, very small, but did the trick.
Review 21:Margherita is awesome, sweet and helpful. Her son waited until 1 a.m. for us to arrive due to a train strike. Location is fabulous, less than a block from the beach. Nice private terrace!!!
Review 22:We were only given 1 toilet roll for 3 nights stay. The price of the room was way over what we got. The wifi internet didn't work the first day but was fixed the next day. There was also no wine bottle opener in the shared kitchen so we couldn't open our own bottle of wine and enjoy the veranda. Also just a heads up for others there is no transport out of Vernazza besides the train which almost cost us to miss our flights as they said there was a strike which caused cancellations of the trains and no one will help you to get to the next town.
Review 23:The bathroom was nice and clean. Also no complaints on the comfort of the bed. The room was in a good location in the center of town. Although the host couldn't speak english she was friendly.
Review 24:Plymping problems
Review 25:Actually there were plumping problems so we wee given another room which seemed that the owner's son was living in. Anyway the location is perfect and had a wonderful time!
Review 26:Hard to find, the map and adress on Booking didn't show the right place. We called the Hotel though, and they came to meet us! It's on the only large street of the city. Go to Via Visconti 22 (bookings has the wrong place on the map), and then take the tiny alley that's close to number 22. Follow the alley, take a left turn, and then the hotel will be on your left side after a little while.
Review 27:Very friendly, clean and in the center of town! It has a kitchen that we could use freely.
Review 28:Lovely seaside village with outstanding views from the hills and the sea. Thank you Daniele for looking after us and helping us with our luggage from and to the train station.
Review 29:Room could have been cleaner.
Review 30:Lisetta Rooms have a great location. Very nice outside space and added benefit of a kitchen. There was no extra blanket in the room but I snooped around in a spare too and found one. Our room was a bit small but adequate. Daniele the manager was great.
Review 31:1) Lack of organisation: First of all, the place isn't located at the address provided on Booking.com. We had to call the owner to get directions to the actual location which was a short walk from the address indicated on our reservation (luckily my boyfriend has an Italian mobile, otherwise we'd incur international fees). Once we've arrived, we were mistakenly shown into the wrong room which meant we had to switch rooms- while this wasn't particulalrly inconvenient, it further showed that the place isn't run efficiently.2. The cleaniness (or the lack of)- aside from finding hair in the sink and on the bedsheets, one of the sheets had a weird, chewing gum-like stain on it, with a piece of hair tangled in. We messaged the owner asking if the sheets could be changed (it was alteady 11pm or so) but didn't hear back from him until the morning. 3) lack of comfort - the pillows were really uncomfortable - they were not only so hard that they made my head hurt and made sleeping difficult, the material on the pillows was rough and kept hurting my face. It took me 2 HOURS to fall asleep. Also, the room was cold and there was no radiator/heater. 4) Bad value for money. The standard of this place is very much that of a budget accommodation, yet the cost of a night stay is comperable to a hotel. Save yourself the hassle and stay at an actual hotel as, given what this place has to offer, the cost is way too high and you get little value in return.
Review 32:The location and the friendliness of the staff - that'spretty much it.
Review 33:Very friendly welcome great location right in the middle if the town. A very short walk from the train. Lovely modern bedroom and bathroom.
Review 34:Danielle and his family who own and run Lisetta Rooms are fantastic! I'm so grateful for them and look forward to returning!
Review 35:Would have liked the patio table cleared so we could enjoy dinner and drinks outside.
Review 36:Located above the noisy village.
Review 37:not really a mattress to sleep on.
Review 38:very nice people/owners
Review 39:Water heater acted up but was addressed promptly the the owner.
Review 40:Location is amazing. Centre of town and easy to get to.
Review 41:Excellent room, great location, friendly, helpful staff.
Review 42:Location, outside patio, remodeled bathroom, kitchen area
Review 43:We had large rooms and a patio for our use which overlooked the town.
Review 44:Stuffy room
Review 45:Perfect location, friendly host, good price.
Review 46:Great location and friendly staff
Review 47:Could do with some new towels.
Review 48:New bathroom. Close to everything.
Review 49:Loved everything about this cute little place.
Review 50:plumbing problems that were not fixed during our 1 night stay, but we liked the place anyway and would return again.

Review 53:The host is friendly& helpful
Review 54:The room was kind of located within a home and there was a kitchen to use.
