Reviews for Camere Nicolina

Review 1:Bits of a haul up steps but that's the same anywhere in Cinque Terra.

Review 2:Unbelievably friendly and helpful couple and possibly the best location and view in Vernazza. Loads of space and really clean and well appointed room.

Review 3:The bell tower that wrung until 2200.

Review 4:Lovely view of the ocean. Great location. Friendly staff that spoke English well. Amazing breakfast to begin a day of exploration.

Review 5:Our terrace overlooking the Bay. Every time we stepped out onto the terrace it was an OMG moment. On our arrival we were given a free bottle of wine to enjoy on the terrace.

Review 6:Couldn't stay longer.

Review 7:Vernazza is the gem of Cinque Terre, and Nicolina is indeed a gem of Vernazza! Our hostess/owner, Veronica, went way above expectations to ensure our welcome and comfort.

Review 8:Four stairs to bathroom were a challenge at night for elderly parents but we managed!

Review 9:Staff friendly, great view of the harbour and bell tower. Loved the history of the building - was built in 1040. Great breakfast!

Review 10:The room is reached by 72 steep steps with only two landings. Not easy for an older couple with luggage. It would be great if there were a couple of kids who would carry luggage for a fee.

Review 11:The view is fantastic! Large balcony and comfortable, well furnished, large room. Despite the long upward trek with luggage to the room, the view and room were worth it. Make sure to have the seafood risotto in their restaurant. It's the best we've ever eaten!

Review 12:It was a little hard trying to find the place, which really isn't a major once you get settled. The trick is knowing that the owners also own the restaurant on the street level so stop there first. We made the mistake of finding the room then calling. It's a hell of a walk with luggage! Other than that, the bell tower is right next to the room but we actually enjoyed the nostalgic feeling it gave us.

Review 13:This place thoroughly exceeded our expectations and turned out to be a gem. My wife and I stayed in the balcony room, which is an apartment that has its own entrance and other amenities. The wife and husband team that owns it has upgraded the room to a level that screams comfort and value. You will not be disappointed!

Review 14:It is not easy to find the reception at the restaurant. It will be better to inform the guest about the restaurant info in advance.

Review 15:The out window view from the room is good.

Review 16:Admittedly the town bell is a little loud but it's a very minor detail. It

Review 17:Nice view of the sea and bay below. Room had a very warm feel and Vernazza itself was stunning.

Review 18:Parking was absolutely terrible. Do not drive. Take the train.

Review 19:Great location and view. The room was two story and located directly on the shore next to the church.

Review 20:Room had dust bunnies and ants. Check-in was at a restaurant but we were not informed ahead of time. It was only by chance that we found it. Staff could have been more friendly and helpful.

Review 21:Location was good.

Review 22:The staff was too focused on running the restaurant to help us for quite some time. As we ascended very steep steps to our room with bags, there was no offer to help carry anything. The sea view advertised was mostly blocked by a clock tower and we had ants and spiders on our bathroom counters.

Review 23:Free breakfast next door was convenient.

Review 24:Not a large window overlooking ocean. If a nice ocean view is what you're looking for, you have to get the room with a balcony.

Review 25:a center of the town, cleanness of room, and breakfast

Review 26:It was small and the bathroom was a little dirty. Lots of steps to get up to the place. Breakfast was minimal. Wifi was slow.

Review 27:The view and A/C was great.

Review 28:Typical of Vernazza there are a lot of steps to climb. Also, we had a small problem with ants in the bathroom

Review 29:Nice room with small harbor view. Great breakfast (at restaurant on beachsaide squre (a few hundred feet from room).

Review 30:There were ants everywhere in the room. We woke up to find our luggage and the ground covered in ants. Very upsetting. Would not recommend.

Review 31:Location was good - except the room is right next to the town church bell, which starts ringing at 7am.

Review 32:Price 2x what the property is worth. Lousy view, contrary to description. Room small and dirty. Closet offered assortment of broken and bent hangers. Bathroom had both a broken toilet and army of ants. Breakfast consisted of 1 pastry , juice, 1 cup of coffee. I have stayed at over 2 dozen places in Italy. Worst place ever

Review 33:Hotel room very tight. Over-sized furniture reduced floor area in room. Large dresser restricted access to bathroom door. Very steep interior stair leading to room. Nearby church w/active ringing bell. Narrow, long & steep outdoor stair leads to hotel. Management not on hotel site.

Review 34:Room had a partial view of the bay. Comfortable bed. Extraordinarily helpful staff. 5% dining discount at owner's restaurant. Hotel very near to bay.

Review 35:The second floor and 8 m2 in the "split floor" room was not useful for anything. The view did not meet the expectation from the pictures at all. There was no place to sit with a sea view and there are much nicer sceneries outdoor all over Vernazza.

Review 36:Good location in the old nice part of Vernazza.

Review 37:The room is big with a private terrace that has an amazing view. There are many stairs to get to the apartment but the view is worth it. Easy check in and out at the restaurant where breakfast is served. Would love to stay here again in the summer.

Review 38:Everything! The room is exactly as described and even more beautiful in person! Every single person in Vernazza was so friendly and helpful. What an amazing experience in a breath taking area with such gracious hosts!

Review 39:Only bad is that our bad wasn't made properly for the second night. Maid could have done a better job there.

Review 40:The Balcony was great. The View was great The Room Design was real nice. The bathroom was beautiful. The bed was comfortable.

Review 41:Fantastic. The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating.

Review 42:Location, location, location

Review 43:Hard to find. There was no street number on the building.

Review 44:Amazing location and beautiful apartment.

Review 45:Great location with best view.

Review 46:The view from the room was spectacular. We looked over the harbor and just sighed! The breakfast was beyond expectation. Highly recommended.

Review 47:Requested more in room coffee but did not receive any more.
