Review 2：We stayed at Hochland for 6 nights and very much enjoyed our time here. We had a very warm welcome and great service throughout the week. The Fam. Schiefer are very friendly and happy people that are keen to deliver good service to their guests. We even received a special discount card for activities in the area. We enjoyed a nice breakfast everyday, which was fresh and more than enough to choose from. In the evening we were served a wonderful 5 course diner of great variation and quality. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and showers good! The view is great on the front side of the hotel. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, fishing etc. for all levels. And a city trip to Innsbruck is only a 30min drive. All in all, a great quality for the price you pay.

Review 6：We had a wonderful stay. The family who runs this hotel is very friendly and gave us exceptional and personal services. The room was very spacious and clean and quite new with a big sofa and a desk. We had a half board option and the dinner which is a proper 5 course meal was very good. The view of the mountains from the hotel is magnificent. The location of the hotel is good as it is surrounded by mountains so the view is great but at the same time you get the convenience of having a supermarket just around the corner and also, Mittenwald is about 15 minutes drive from the hotel and Innsbruck is around 30 minutes away by car. I sometimes stay in 4 or 5 star hotels on business but in terms of comfort of the stay and the exceptional services, I thought that this hotel is as good as a 5 star hotel. Very good value for money. We hope to stay at this hotel when we visit the region again.

Review 16：Having convinced my husband to try cross country skiing as opposed tohis usual downhill we chose this hotel as it was close to both thedownhill and cross country tracks 'just in case'. No rooms wereavailable in the main Hotel Hochland so instead we were offered one oftwo self catering apartments in Haus Schiefer, 100 yards across theroad, with an option to take half board in the hotel which we chose. Theapartment was fantastic, clean, airy and with two balconies to admirethe spectacular views of the mountains. A kitchenette with all you wouldneed to rustle up a basic meal, bathroom with full size bath and aseparate bedroom. Meals were plentiful with a typical Tyrolean buffetbreakfast and a 5 course evening meal based on 2 main choices, saladbar, soup and dessert. These were varied and a good size. Frau Schieferhad her beady eye on you if you didn't empty your plate! Our onlycriticism was that the food was rather salty but we expect this on thesetrips and joke about a detox when we get home! Bar drinks werereasonably priced too. The hotel itself has free WiFi and also asauna/solarium area plus ski storage etc. All areas wereimmaculately clean and it is a no smoking establishment in the publicareas. We actually preferred the apartment option as it gave us moreflexibility but I would recommend the hotel too as everything is underone roof. We had a fabulous week cross country skiing with a completerange of weather during that time as it was end of season. We arelooking forward to returning to Leutasch in September to discover thedelights of walking in the area and hopefully again to cross country skinext year. I am hoping Herr Schiefer will have a vacancy in theapartments when I email him later today.
