Review 1：The dinning room staff appeared to be half hearted and were packing up half an hour before the service finished which spoilt the experience. Also in the room was a small window beside the door that let the light stream in from a light outside it nèeds a blind or curtianblind

Review 3：Limited variety of things to do, food dishes, snacks and TV channels. We do not understand French so we could not really relax and watch TV. No Wi-Fi in the rooms were frustrating and slow connection to internet at the reception added to our frustration. The quality of the food was low compared to the high prices of the food. I would appreciate having a bar fridge in the room. We booked a spa and our booking was confirmed but the lady just did not pitch up at the appointed time. I did not appreciate being approached by the taxi drivers on the premises while we were sunbathing on the day we arrived. I think that was a bit rude of them. They should not be allowed onto the premises to stalk the visitors. We should call for them. I did not like the fact that there were no plugs next to the bed side tables.

Review 4：The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. Housekeeping cleaned our room so well and folded our towels beautiful. This made us feel special. We had a ground floor room which overlooked the beach. Premises was clean. Quiet & peaceful.

Review 5：Some may not like a lot of sea weed in the water and on the beach, but as far as my stay was concerned, it had a little impact. The ocean is still beautiful and swimmable.

Review 6：Having read a few negative reviews, cannot agree with them. As far as my stay was concerned, everything was excellent - warm welcome upon check-in, allowing me to early check-in 5 hrs prior to standard time, great sea view, beautiful and absolutely clean and well-maintained room, personal welcome by a general manager and lots of those small personalized gestures I frankly did not even expect.

Review 7：Its the worse hotel i ever take, bad sea and u can't swim, they are mani rocks and things, the food was not so good, and the wors thing is that u will have to pay for wifi in ur room its not free, only at the reception you get a free wifi

Review 8：1. Staff at breakfast too keen to shut down the breakfast.... even though guests were still there. 2. Wi-fi only available in common areas but did not work 98% of the time. 3. Showerhead did not stay in position.... making it difficult to shower. 4. Not a swimable beach. Too windy (in July) and seaweed instead of sand. 5. Bar staff keen to shut shop early... again even though patrons were still drinking.

Review 12：I was received by an unsmiling, rather arrogant reception lady. Reception staff very slow and with (please do not disturb attitude). Other hotel staff was very friendly and ok. The way the breakfast buffett was set up, (careless, unneath) spoiled your mood already in the morning. Untidy restaurant, floor dirty,everything lying around like in a battlefield. Evening buffet starts late (7.30 pm.) salads were good, hot food is kept hot about 45 min. before dinner starts, so fish and meat are overcooked and hot food in general not very tasty. Beach full of algues which instead of cleaned away were pushed back into the sea by hotel staff. Sunbenches dirty, only 3 working sunombrellas for the whole compound. Garden compound was nice and clean. Location is off the beaten track, no shops, no other restaurants then the hotel one around, taxi expensive from hotel to 3 km away Troux d'eau douce, find a cheaper one from the street. Bus passes very seldom.Internet works only in reception area. It is always windy and very humid, not good for asthmatic people. Safe in room did not work (other guests commented the same). If you are in for a nice relaxing holiday, only choose a 5* hotel in Mauritius, then only you get nice clean beaches, nice food, etc. otherwise you will regret having gone there. Choose all inclusive as otherwise you will be ripped of again (12 Euros a beer and 50 Euros dinner!)

Review 18：Breakfast and dinner had the same repetitive food every day. The beach is unswimmable and has slimy algae which you can smell throughout the whole hotel. Would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel even if it was five dollars a night

Review 22：The only drawback to this location is the quality of the beach justoutside the hotel. You can happily sunbathe, swim, snorkel and canoehere, but seaweed and algae washes up here. The hotel clears the beacheveryday, but it can still be a bit smelly on bad days. However, thereare perfect public beaches adjacent to this one that you can walk to, soit is only a minor issue. I recommend taking the boat from the boathousefor the best snorkeling locations.We found the house wine was of poor quality as we are used to quality South African wines (even our cheap ones are better).

Review 23：The staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were modern and clan withbeautiful presentation and decor. We had a lovely view of the beachfrom the room. The all inclusive package is definitely recommended asdriving on these roads at night is not a good idea. Food was varied andthere was a great buffet choice for all meals. There were plenty ofalcoholic drinks available on the all inclusive menu. The hotel put alot of effort into the New Years Eve dinner, with a cocktail party,fantastic luxury foods, dancing, singing and fireworks. The spa waslovely. Overall, we were very happy with the facilities, food andtreatment we received.

Review 26：The food is very limited as far as choice goes. We opted for the half board package based on the comments regarding the food. However this makes your holiday a lot more expensive as you now have to pay for drinks, lunch and dinner. I would not go back based on this. The location is also very isolated, making it expensive to get anywhere as you are virtually forced to use taxis. Renting a car actually worked out cheaper. The pics of the beach area are also misleading. There are no thatched shade umbrellas on the beach but rather a limited number of pop up umbrellas.

We were sorry for those who paid money to stay in this hotel for many days. Beach was dirty, windy and there was dark very soon. Food is really bad and 2 afternoon there was no water at all!!
