Review 1：I booked for a double bed room for two. But I felt the size is a bit too small for the two people. The room rate available at the time did not include breakfast. The breakfast buffe looked a bit costy also.

Review 2：The hotel is quite close to the Kokura JR Station and not far from the convenient store anddowntown area. Easy to find in a walking distant.

Staff very helpful...one young reception lady spoke fluent English (learned in New Zealand ☺) and when we told staff at night a neighbor was being too loud, they promptly dealt with it. room was clean & large for Japan. We asked for no smoking and room didn't even smell like smoke (unlike other non smoking places we have been to...May be a non smoking room but still smells due to heavy smokers who stay in there)

Review 9：The centralised air conditioning system is very inflexible. It was a warm day when I arrived in Kumamoto, but I could not adjust the temperature of the air conditioner to emit cooler air. Shower not in good condition, so using the onsen most of the time.

Review 10：Friendly staff. I had the problem with my booking for my return stay one day later, my booking showed smoking room in which I never booked for in the first place. But the hotel managed to arrange a non-smoking room for my returning stay which was a relief to me.

Review 11：Extreme amount of the papers and advertisements on the room at the small table. I found this not usefull and very annoying so I put everything in the trash. Also TV could be smaller not takong 2/3 of the table and should be turned off.

Review 33：The only time in Japan a bathroom has a smell. I think the plumbing is old so the sewage is not well covered/concealed. I can definitely smell things :( Must open the window when it's hot... Weird it doesn't have central AC. Open window helps with lowering the temperature, but then you have to deal with the noise.

I expected the hotel to be old and dirty for the money but it was clean and comfortable- definitely a good value. APA Kokura Hotel will definitely be my #1 hotel choice- Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu :)

Review 43：A bit problem is communication with the hotel receptionists who can speak English a bit. When I would like to transfer my baggages to Hiroshima airport by Kuroneko Yamato. After I checked out, I left my baggages to a receptionist for transferring to the airport. When I checked status of my luggages at the last night in Japan, I cannot find the status and it show no registration of my baggages in the system. After that I ask to the receptionist, they didn't answer me what's happen. I waste a lot of time to follow my baggages status and feel terrible. However, I received my baggages at the airport.

Review 44：I booked 2 rooms and no problem for staying here. The receptionists are nice. They help me to find the way how to send my luggages to Hiroshima airport such as complete the application form, find a map to pick them up at the airport and print out the map for me. The facilities here and location are ok. This hotel is not far from Kokura station (Shinkansen).
