Review 1：A tied up dog in reception that tried to bite me and barked a fair bit. No choice or variety for food, one set menu.

Review 3：Hotel La Chance is the most beautiful setting for a hotel, we just spent our one year anniversary there having had the wedding of our dreams at La Chance this time last year. If you are looking for a relaxing break, a mountainous walk or even your wedding this is the number one place to start your search.

Review 7：They charge you 15 euros for using the spa after 16:00hrs. Now if yourskiing your always going to be in the spa after this time.We were getting picked up at 07:00hrs so we missed breakfast. We asked the night before if we could have some sandwiches made for the morning. They said yes but they didn't do it.

Review 8：Uphill walk to nearest ski chairlift at start of the day although it's downhill coming back ! Top tip - rent a heated locker at the ticket office/gondola station and leave all ski equipment there rather than take back and forth to hotel.

Review 9：Stunning views of mountains all around and Mont Blanc from mountain view bedrooms, bar and garden. Relaxed informal atmosphere, superb family run hotel, excellent food and free canapés served in bar before dinner. Hotel also arranged airport transfers with local drivers much cheaper than online.

Review 10：The hotel falsely advertised the hot tub/spa area as included. It is only open from 2:30-4 (prime ski time). After 4, you have to pay to use it. Also, the "hot tub" was really cold! Not what you're looking for after a long day of skiing.

Review 17：It's 10-15 minutes walk down the hill from Pila so you can't getthere directly from the slope and Aosta is 20-minutes drive below themountain. In some snowny days it could require wheel chains or wintertyres to get to the hotel by car.

Review 19：Uncomfortable beds. Satelite tv only showed Italian programmes.Guest were charged for WiFi. It is free in most hotels world-wide now. Guest were charged to use the SPA after 4.00 PM. Most were Skiing intill 5.00 pmand need a steam/sauna on completion. This was not stated on the website. I have never been charged in hotels worldwide before. These may seem trivial points (apart from the bed) but it did slightly spoil an enjoyable stay, hence 'good' rather than 'excellent'
