Review 1：Simply furnished, spotless accommodation with the benefit of two private Onsen for the use of guests. Tea & Coffee anytime. Complementary breakfast of toast. Salad, Cereal , Fruit , Boiled eggs & Orange juice. Very close to beach. Take a number 9 bus from Shimoda and get off at Shirihama shrine. Beachside Inn is tucked back off the road just after the Convenience store.

Review 4：First time we experienced such a bad service in Japan! The day time receptionist was fine but the lady in charge of breakfast and evening reception simply ruined our impression of this place. She has been really rude (she literally kicked us out from the breakfast room at 10:01) and she talked to us very aggressively (even though we can speak Japanese). They may have a problem with groups of foreigners there? They are also told us it was forbidden to stay on the terrace after 10pm, even quietly.ba place good for monks but not for group of friends!
Review 5：The location in front of Shirahama beach and the cleanliness of the rooms were appreciated. Good to have in-suite bathrooms and the possibility to take a shower outside anytime, even after check-out. Nice 24h hot spring bath too.
Review 6：Enjoyed the stay at Beach side shirahama...my family had fun there..main advantage was we where able to join the three beds into one big one. Families with kids who sleep with parents will be very helpful.

Review 8：Our second visit here this year. We were initially impressed by the closeness to the beach and the free private onsen but this hotel is much more. A great breakfast is included and the two private onsen on stilts in the property are always available for guests to use free of charge. The beach here is perfect for beginner surfers although not reccomended if you want anything over a couple of feet at best. The staff are brilliantly helpful and friendly at all times. There is free tea and coffee laid out near the rooms for guests to use. The rooms are basic bit good. The best thing about this place is the ability to walk back after a cold winter surf and use the outside showers and board and suit storage then jump into the 42deg onsen to warm up.
