Reviews for Affittacamere Graziella
Review 1:Free WiFi but weak signal. Finding location was challenging based on written instructions. Use GPS coordinates! That worked best for us. Roads are steep, winding and narrow to reach Cinque Terre.
Review 2:Fridge in room, private bathrooms in room, access to kitchenette, peaceful, mountain view. Spacious, clean room. Coffee machine!
Review 3:A working doorbell to the reception when we needed to check out would have been useful!
Review 4:Only stayed one night, the girl who booked us in was very friendly and helpful (and an English speaker!)
Review 5:The place is isolated and not welcoming. Feels old and dilapidated. Def not worth the money and so far away from Venezza and the hub of the beaches and other towns.
Review 6:The place was amazing!! Rozana and Graziella were really helpful with us!! We didn't have a car, we thought that the place was nearer to Vernazza that it actually was and they made the impossible to get us a ride twice!! If you don't have a car is not practical to get there!!
Review 7:1) It claims to be in Vernazza but it isn't !!!2) basically you're forced to travel from hotel to a train station (and back) in Levanto and pay the parking for the whole day in Levanto. 3) if you don't have a GPS, you're lost; I only found the place by chance, while driving all those narrow roads from Vernazza up on the hills. 4) I repeat: you can't enter Vernazza&Monterosso&Corniglia&Manarola- &Riomaggiore by car! And parkings at the villages' entrances are always full! You only have the option to pay the parking for whole day in La Spezia or Levanto! 5) If you don't read the ratings/feedbacks from travelers, you're screwed (you'll think you booked something in Vernazza).
Review 8:1) Internet and private parking at good price2) restaurant at about 1km with affordable prices and awesome food 3) the place is very clean and nice, the staff is very very nice 4) you can pay with credit card (most of the time, when the POS is working)
Review 9:The blankets were not very welcoming to sleep. Breakfast was included but the choice was not to big. The location is quite remote and with bigger cars you have problems to reach it.
Review 10:The room was big and clean. Unfortunately the person in charge does not speak english, but she seemed very friendly in italian.
Review 11:No wi-fi in the room, quite far from the beaches, I don't understand why it says Vernazza, when it is about 13 kilometers from Vernazza, it is not fair to the people who think they will be staying in Vernazza!
Review 12:Nice breakfast, nice and clean room
Review 13:Was told by locals I'd never find on own. Roads aren't named. Big climb up hills. Definately need vehicle.
Review 14:Views on way back down nxt day. Stunning.
Review 15:the breakfast consisted of two slices of bread that were sealed in plastic and laid out the night before. And a small bottle of water to share between us... Not exactly what I would expect for breakfast.
Review 16:free wifi
Review 17:The distance, the impossible route to reach the place, and on top of it all it felt like living in a house that was abandoned decades ago
Review 18:Nothing at all
Review 19:We were on the ground floor and there was no privacy curtain on our bedroom window. As soon as it was dark, anyone outside could see in, and short of sitting in the dark there was nothing we could do about it; ( and there was a sruprising amount of people traffic for a farm) the family was back and forth talking loudly, guests were greeted right outside our window, and on one occasion, a fellow guest stuck his head right up to our open window to ask wether this was the breakfast room--I was in my night clothes at the time. We stayed at B and B's for 5 weeks in Italy, and this breafast was by far, the most disappointing. The breakfast room was tiny and very crowded. We were shown three individual yogurts and permitted to take one. We were asked if we wished to have "meat"--it was cut and delivered to our table--two coin sized slices of sausage. Coffee was served to us, but we had to ask for a second cup, and could have wished it had been served with a smile. So, compared to many others, this B and B was a disappointment.
Review 20:The room was bright and clean
Review 21:Like this property very much, following is just for other travellor's information: - poor wifi - hostess can hardly speak english but it's ok to communicate by all means, she is very helpful. - not in the seaside of Vernazza, located on the mountain, your own car is essential.
Review 22:- Garden view in the mountain with fresh air - spacious and clean rooms - strongly recommend to eat in her son's resturant, very delicious. - nice breakfast
Review 23:-
Review 24:Homely atmosphere in a 3 room B&B. Very friendly hosts . Peace and quiet of being away from other tourists. Great breakfast. Only 8 kms (15 min . drive) from Monterosso where we parked the car and started our Cinque Terre walk.
Review 25:Trying to communicate was difficult - managed to find French speaking visitors who could recommend day trips.
Review 26:Our of the way but worth it. No English but great Wifi - and typical continental breakfast. Enjoyed it immensely!
Review 27:About 20 minutes away from the closest cinque terre village, a very peaceful and calm property. Fairly basic, but nothing is really missing. Clean and comfortable, it a good base to relax and explore, provided that you have a car. We enjoyed our stay!
Review 28:It's a bit difficult to reach without a car.
Review 29:Staff is very helpful. Graziella, the owner explained us all the path we should walk. The room was very big. Breakfast was nice with high quality products.
Review 30:We didn't have wifi in our room.we had to go to the breakfast area to have access.
Review 31:Everything was satisfying.clean room, simple but nice breakfast and in a good place for visiting the cinque terre.the owner doesn't speak english at all!however, we managed to communicate!
Review 32:It is a bit far from town centre and therefore you have to drive a long way. Monterosso is about 10 km and Riomaggiore 20 Km but it is all mountain roads in very bad conditions. Thereofre in the evening you cannot really go for a walk as pretty much an isolated place. However this location give you access to different destinations. Avoid this place if you do not a car or motorbike No mobile reception at all
Review 33:Pretty basic but what you would expect from and "affittacamere" in such expensive area It is not near any of the 5 Terre so you need a car. But it is not far from a main junction that allows you to drive every day to a different town in the 5 Terre. Not many restaurant around but you will get a 10% discount for a restaurant called Puin which is really good. The sound of sheep in the night as immersed in the hill and countryside Not really a posh place and hence the type of other guests really chilled WIFI connection No mobile reception at all
Review 34:Without a car you can't get anywhere
Review 35:It's a clean comfortable place out in the green. But don't expect to get the cinque terre feeling, you can't see anything of it from this place. You can watch the sheep insted. But if you are on a budget and with a car this is a good place to stay.
Review 36:The internet is slow but it is not the case while you are on holidays. There is no internet in the apartment. Breakfast is quite poor.
Review 37:The villas are located in a very quiet area, far from anything else, surrounded by a forest. We encountered some wild boars. The place is peaceful and idyllic. Only 10 km from Monterosso and 10 km from Vernazza. There are 2 buildings: one of them is sold as an apart, in another villa there are rooms (which are sold as separated rooms)with the shared kitchen. The house is clean and cool inside. Some travellers mention a dog Pete. He is very friendly. My kids loved him. There are a few roads to Vernazza. One of them (the shortest according to my gps) is very narrow. You need to back up if there is a car from opposite. Luckily it isn't longer than 3 km.
Review 38:Only issue I had was that the room became very bright early in the morning which caused me to loose some sleep even though i had all curtains shutters pulled. Other than that I very much enjoyed my stay
Review 39:This was a very clean and peaceful rural lodge. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. My girlfriend still misses the little dog!
Review 40:Nothing, as the place is the best you can get for the money. The location is a bit remote, but it is an excellent base for exploring the Cinque Terre.
Review 41:The surroundings are idyllic and peaceful. The B&B is situated near a small farm, with sheep, a cute friendly dog and cats. The apartment itself was spacious and clean, with everything provided: hairdryer, washing machine etc. The Puin restaurant is right next door and serves excellent seafood.
Review 42:You certainly need a car to stay here, especially if you want to visit nearby cinque terre villages
Review 43:Quiet, rural location.
Review 44:Peaceful surroundings.
Review 45:Quiet setting in the country
Review 46:Fresh fig is really good, as big as an apple.
Review 47:Beautiful, peaceful place. Had a really lovely time here. We walked to the local restaurant. V. nice.
Review 48:Peaceful location, having our own front door into our room
Review 49:host did not speak English (AT ALL)
Review 50:you can find it only by sat nav, its realy hidden, but once you find it its ok
Review 51:nice, clean comfortable
Review 52:There are no comments available for this review
Review 53:The road to the villages is not very good.
Review 54:Very nice staff. We traveled with our children (4 months and 3 years old) and we requested an extra bed for our daughter. They offered us a triple room, without extra charges. Clean, not so far from the coast, relaxing atmosphere.
Review 55:Language...
Review 56:Really need a car to find the place...But the host was really very nice, although we can't communicate easily... the host can't speak English and we also can't understand Italian...
Review 57:Stuck in the middle of nowhere and hard to find. One room practically underground, the other extremely uncomfortable: the steep, tiny steps leading to the bedroom alone could kill you if you put your foot the wrong way. No internet, not for us or for other foreign guests, although we kept being told we should be able to get it.
Review 58:Not much. Would not recommend this place.
Review 59:A bit hard to find initially.
Review 60:Closer to Cinque Terre than expected.Very clean and peaceful surroundings, nice after the busy tourist activity. No English so do your own homework before going, unless you speak Italian.Great meal at Trattoria as recommended, family affair and very good.
Review 61:Madam did not speak any English, then again our Italian is very limited, but it was OK. No E-Mail which could be a bonus for some.
Review 62:Very comfortable and quiet location in the mountains, plenty of walking routes around. The Cinque Terre coast was accessible by parking at Levanto and getting the train along the coast. Good breakfast, prepared by madam with home baked cake.
Review 63:The staff don't speak English, so it was difficult to communicate and understand to each other. It is impossible to use credit card for payment. The place is a little bit difficult to find it.
Review 64:Very nice and clean house, beautiful nature, nice staff! The breakfast was with home made products.
Review 65:If you've got noisy neighbours you're unlucky.
Review 66:Very friendly owner! Doesn't speak a word of english but her italian is fantastic:-) and that's what she'll speak to you regardless if you understand it or not. But somehow she manages to get her message across. Very welcoming. Great experience.
Review 67:Definitely would not have found this place without a GPS, and without a car it would be difficult to get anywhere.
Review 68:Quiet location, great accommodations, friendly staff! Would definitely come back!
Review 69:quite hard to communicate with a local staff (owners) who are able to speak only Italien, but it seems not to be so big problem, because there were lodged Dutchmen and Belgians at the time we stayed there; no wifi connection
Review 70:pretty nice place in the heart of the nature, a lot of sheeps around you and very friendly dog "Pepe" was very welcomed by us; strongly recommended for all that who like the real countryside atmosphere, even not so far from very "crowded" area as Cinque Terre is
Review 71:for me a bit the end of the world. Not that far from cinque terra by car but there it stopped. No variety in breakfast. Same and rationed.
Review 72:for those who like to be in the middle of nowhere and back to basic yes
Review 73:The Room Was a bit humid and the Bed a bit too rough/strong.
Review 74:The area is very Nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. If Youhave a car it is The perfect spot to visit the Cinque Terre. You Willneed a gps to find the place!
Review 75:No services near.
Review 76:Rooms were really clean and the surrounding were beautiful and quiet. Owners don't speak anything else than italy!
Review 77:The bed was a bit too firm.
Review 78:The breakfast was amazing, many choices and a host ready to serve coffee when needed.
Review 79:super clean, homemade cake for breakfast
Review 80:Difficult to get there and distant from a bigger city. No shop nearby.
Review 81:Nice nature and so peaceful
Review 82:no internet, breakfast poor, inadequate price to quality
Review 83:very nice neighborhood, comfortable bed
Review 84:Very affordable considering is relatively close to the expensive 5 Terre but you do need a car as its in the middle of the hills and isolated
Review 85:Room is in basement and too humid, to the point that ceramic floors were slippery near weat
Review 86:Breakfast with homemade cakes and Jam
Review 87:un peu difficile à trouver car il est dans la montagne.
Review 88:La dame d'hotel est très gentile, elle fait la petit dej à la maison.
The Fine Print
Please note that to reach the property you have to insert Vernazza, Località Pavì 8, in your GPS device. When traveling on the Roma-Genova A12 highway, take exit Brugnato, then the Strada Provinciale (National Road) towards La Spezia for about 5.5 miles. You should then see a sign "5 terre" and turn right, after another 5.5 miles you should see the sign "Agriturismo Graziella" on the left-hand side.
